Marc, I have tried all sorts of wireless over the years. I don't doubt they have improved but often times people are using inexpensive devices or phones listening to MP3 compressed music or sounds. I have the Motorolas myself as it not only lets me listen to various sources including stuff posted on Facebook, but they also double as my phone. And, yes, they sound much better wired up.

@@audibleeleganceinc You should definitely try GW100 or the GW100x on Bluetooth. It comes with a cable, too, but nothing impressive there. The Bluetooth has DSP correction and you'll be surprised how good it is for its price. I can't tell the difference between FLAC files and a 320 kbps MP3, but if you can, use a Bluetooth device that supports it. Laptops can do it. You won't be disappointed.

They have different pads as well. For some, it's no problem at all. That's why I said to consider and not that you should own. I've owned Sennheisers, for example. Fine headsets as well but keeping them on my head was a different matter. I could never use earbuds as they hurt like hell at about 1 hour. Personally, I use a motorola headset but it's also my phone, a feature not available on Grados. So, something resting on my ears is not an issue for about 4 to 6 hours.
