Maybe switch that out for “I understand” then… I was taught by my SGA and RGO to understand their objections, not to agree to them. Obviously different people do things differently and I’m not here to argue semantics on the video of someone who clearly knows what they’re doing in the industry, but just have little elements of common sense to tell you when to switch your verbiage for different scenarios.

I got your leads, here's the results from this morning's call session: Calls - 51 (includes calling the same # twice) Conversations - 8 (one was Spanish only, couldn't understand) Appts - 4 This is for real. Your system is no BS. Just dial the stinking #'s, use the script, respond to the objections and set the appt. Thanks Cody. This was a bit of a life changer for me.

Love this thanks for sharing I watch at least one of your videos every day. I'm a new agent 3 weeks into the business I have something for you less than half of my leads that I buy every week answer the phone. so I know what everybody says do door-knock how in the world do you just pull up to somebody's home unannounced as an insurance agent what do you even say you're not even invited what's your opening line to get in the door when they have no idea why you're even showing up?

HAHAHAHAHA, Cody, you KNOW me so well!!!! Being a Health/Life insurance agent is so rewarding especially with everything going on in the world right now, that families need to be financially protected and life insurance is the answer for families and individuals to have. So, it's a darn shame that there are agents like myself out there who get scared and have brain freezes on how to deal with objections. (I'd rather be overseas fighting in a fire-fight; (I'm prior military) than dealing with objections). Thank you for this video!

Awesome stuff Cody. I just passed my Sate Life Insurance Exam and waiting to get my license. I'm wanting to focus on Final Expense and have been studying and watching many of your videos. As someone who has successfully sold in the B2B world I am new to this type of in-home sales and this is a career shift and transition for me. As complete Life Insurance Newbie this material is absolute GOLD! These objections are prefect for people who have requested info but what are good objection rebuttals for people who may have not requested info? Or is this a totally different strategy? Yes Cody, all good! I've been an agent for almost 4 years now. One thing I would add as a great rebuttal to many objections: "Wish I could do over the phone or email you quotes but I need to see you in person for only 10-15 min. to VERIFY your health and see what you qualify for (not on Crutches, Wheelchair, etc.). I will find you the best PROGRAM for you. You decide if it works for you or not! "So is Monday or Tuesday better for you!? hope this helps?

Cody, this information was very helpful! Do you have any suggestion or examples of how to sell life insurance over the phone during the first contact? That means start to finish over the phone, not setting up a field face to face.

With the group work cvg objection,,,, I just sold 2 policies based on this objection, I said, I get it Beth, but when you retire in a few years, that coverage goes away and this coverage will be more expensive then. She dropped her group cvg got a policy for her and her husband and it only cost her an additional $20\ mth

Idk about you but for us when they request info there's a security passcode they write and also we confirm their email

Im guessing my agency created that security passcode for this specific reason. I just started but I imagine the person who hands them out or whatever let's them know that someone will call them and that the security keyword is so they know its not a random solicitor.

I normally carry a minimum of three companies. One for healthy, one for average and one for below-average health.

Here's an objection. The "either or" option comes right after "I'll be in your area." What if the prospect asks if you know what their area is and you don't?

Shux this was five years ago. I hope you can answer this for me. I’m a new agent for Medicare, work from home, and we talk and sell over the phone. We don’t drop anything off in person because we are licensed in multiple states. How can I implement the last part? We still make appointments but we try to go over the info over the phone. We take them through a process of qualify eligibility, find 3 neeeds ie dental,vision, hearing, or ways to find money for them for gas, rent, food, over the counter medication etc.

I am a health insurance agent and struggling to get deals. Your examples are awesome but it doesn't make sense with what I do. I don't sale door to door. What should I say if I'm working in an office setting ?

Agree this will get you face to face BUT when you arrive, what do you say when they say ok I'll take the info and read it?
