The lmg is pretty good too. Been using a hatchling desperate measures on a prismatic strand warlock with the call strategist hatchling, swarmers with threadling grenade and threadling spawning class aspect. It goes crazy
Good thing about One for Alli is the sidearm has a decent AOE damage when it hits something. This means if ads are densely packed you can activate One for All from a single shot.
As a note for Strand/Prismatic Warlocks, Strategist is the play on this gun if you're rocking weavers Call. Remember, Strand final blows make perched threadlings now and strat plus hatchling on weavers means you always have threadlings available. I've been rocking it since I got it to drop and I'm gonna craft one as soon as I get my last drop of it.
Golden Tricorne works fine on prismatic, you just have to match your super to the element of the gun. I did a lot of testing already, and it's confusing, but the element of the super is the only thing that matters. You can use any element for melee or grenade and it will proc x2, as long as the super matches.
Are you forreall??? That's actually super game changing and also explains why i couldn't get x2 on Prosecutor to proc with Combination Blow... thanks for the info!!
@@timcal2136 Yeah unfortunately though on prismatic, Nova bomb is the better options since not only can you equip thread of evolution but also because of expanding abyss
Man the tangle artifact perk the moment I tried it I fell in love with it, it's like having warmind cells back, not normal ones, but the ones that cleared entire rooms worth of adds
@@nabeelakbar5923also the hunter punch build is more potent then the titan one was pre nerf. Just fyi you should check it out. Not the best boss dps but arguably best general pve.
Just goes to show we need more special and heavy ammo versions of usually primary weapons, like a Heavy Ammo Hand *_CANNON_* that fires like a Halo Scorpion in the palm of your hands. Or alternatively, more Primary/Special Ammo versions of normally Heavy Ammo weapons, and/or Primary Ammo versions of Special and Heavy Ammo ones. (Like a Primary Sword that’s like a fast but low damaging Rapier, or a Special Ammo Machine Gun that’s super customizable via the weapon crafting, and can be made into things you’d see from Halos 5 and Infinite’s Weapon Combinations or Destiny’s own Craftening).
If anything it actually shows they need to increase the ammo economy of many of the other special weapons. Reason why Rocket Side arms are so good is simply because their ammo is so much higher than any of the other special weapons to the point that even without Lead from Gold you'll likely never run out of ammo.
Indebted Kindness is fantastic and the Solar one later this season will be just as good, but this is the one for me. I'm an energy primary main, so it's either The Call + primary or double special for me.
I used The Call as I ran the legend campaign on Warlock and have crafted an enhanced version but since I got an auto loading holster/wellspring The Lost Signal, stasis nade lancher I use that whenever there's instances with large groups of mobs. It's utterly perfect when you get groups of mobs repeatedly spawning in because you can see where they're about to spawn, bang, one shot and it takes them out. Switch to Sunshot and it takes the next group out, switch back to The Lost Signal and repeat. Total easy mode for anything with large amount of enemies. Anything that has less mobs and more chunky opponents and The Call is a better option.
I don't understand why Lead from Gold is so highly regarded. It's not like heavy rains in the game (especially in endgame content), and slapping a special ammo scout is usually good enough. I just don't get it.
I think because a lot of people run double special for the extra Heavy Ammo. But I run The Call + Ergo Sum and haven't had any ammo problems by just equiping Special Ammo Scout in my helmet.
Bc the game is coded to drop more heavies when using non heavy weapons, and the vice versa. So its insanely cracked bc using specials make that effect even drastic. I run indebted and the call, and with special scout i see as many heavies as i do special ammo. So its insanely cracked for endgame when u want to keep up heavy ammo economy but also get the benefit of topping off your special.
Practically when I get it playing the legendary campaign, I used it all the time, it is a lead from gold and hatchling roll, it saved me a lot, and I love it!!!!
Trying to get rolls is the funniest thing in destiny, for some things I could never get the god roll after weeks of grinding for it, and then for others like indebted, I got the god roll lead from gold volt shot literally the first time I ever played warlords lmao
I went with lead from gold/desperate measures, but it’s nice to see so many great perk options to where even if you don’t get the pattern quickly like I was fortunate enough to, you’ll still very likely get a great roll
This thing got me through the legend campaign, but now that I have Breachlight back, I'm never putting it down. I got Slice/Hatchling on it and I'm in love. Once I get the same roll on The Call though, that's gonna be my guy.
I got solipsism with necrotic and swarmers and my Call with demo and threadlings pairs beautifully with it. I’m dotting and producing threadlings like a madman.
Voltshot is good but reloading after each shot gets on my nerves, so I'm not a fan.. much prefer the Call. Being able to just unload with the perks it has is so nice.. and you can pair it with all of the good Energy weapons.
Golden tricorn "hability kills" are actually tied to the super that you have equiped.I think its made like this to sinergies with permeability. That means, TO MAKE GOLDEN TRICORN WORK ON PRISMATIC YOU JUST NEED TO HAVE SAME SUPER EQUIPED, AND YOU ARE NOT LOKED BY SPECIFIC ABILITY (YOU CAN PROC IT WHATEVER ABILITY ELEMENT YO HAVE)
the dealers choice perk states "pale hearts weapons", which I believe includes the like of Still Hunt or Microcasm. Atleast from my testing. This would mean you could rock the sidearm with the healing auto and Microcasm and get the full benefit for dealers choice
Note: On PRISMATIC. Golden Tricorn relates to your super. Not grenade. Which means you can run ANY grenade and get it. As long as your super matches, you in there. It’s so much better that way.
I feel like most people are sleeping on Beacon rounds for the third column perk. Sure, it's not quite as strong of a utility as subsistence or strategist, but the ability to just pop one ad and then hip fire in the general direction of any enemy and always get the hit is incredible. Makes dealing with Grims and Harpies a cake walk
people sleep on beacon frrr, my indebted kindness has beacon/voltshot, I find its really useful for hitting super far shots that have no business landing
This strand sidearm has been a blessing to pair with the No Hesitation support auto rifle. I love playing support/ healer in video games and with the new Speaker’s Sight helmet, it has been doing amazing to keep that fantasy going
Travelers Proliferation: Defeating combatants with any source of Strand produces Threadlings. Powerful combatants produce more Threadlings. In the Pale Pathfinder - Flickering Blessings. It's fantastic with The Call
For my first Call roll that I tried out, it was Demo and Hatchling. Then I found that Threadlings can perch on Warlocks when they are using prismatic. My crafted roll was ultimately Demo and Hatchling.
Skipping over Beacon Rounds is kinda criminal. I got an Indebted Kindness roll with Beacon Rounds and Voltshot, and it slaps so hard. Beacon rounds makes sure that you either never waste ammo, or waste ammo VERY much less than often.
@@ChaingearGaming I have been, and it’s such a combo, also a good tip is that if you damage combatants with other guns, it still refills the healing bullets for the auto, two shots with the sidearm puts it to full
I've been using it on a Threadling Warlock... it makes Threadlings so easy that most of the time I don't even notice them. Not to mention the ridiculous effective range it has. I've been able to use it as a scout rifle.
i think this gun is amazing but, i firmly believe no hesitation is the best primary in the game, that gun literally provide more utility for your team then 99 percent of exotic armor and weapons
Definitely the most utility, but I can't take off graviton. With anti barrier pulse, it is both the best ad clear and deals with the most annoying enemies like phalanxes and the taken vandals.
I'm interested in seeing whether its the weapon frame or the specific weapon that's powerful. indebted kindness was the only rocket frame before the call, and it became the new forbearance. now both rocket frames have become the best guns in the game.
First call I got had lead from gold, vorpal haven’t taken it off since release. Goes nasty on adds with the new strand machine gun with reconstruction bns
Imo the absolute best roll for prismatic warlocks is demo/desperate measures because your hellion/arc soul is pretty much constantly attacking things, making the x3 extremely easy to keep up
Something to note about the Dealer's Choice origin perk, is that if you get a kill with, lets say, Bold Endings- while you have Pro Memoria and Still Hunt equipped, Still Hunt apparently counts as "having" the origin trait. As long as the weapon thematically/originates from the pale heart from a lore standpoint, it counts towards the super gain from ACTUAL PALE HEART WEAPON kills due to how the origin trait is worded. Why have specifically Pale Heart weapons in caps? Well, while I say that exotics like Still Hunt, Microcosom, and Khovostov 7G-0X count towards the Dealer's Choice super gain, the super gain is only earned through the actual weapons that show the origin trait ON IT. The way I figured this out was from one of the artifact perks, "Winning Hand" not proccing on something like Khovstov, even though it counts towards Dealer's Choice, as well as the obvious lack of super gain. What I am trying to get to in the end is... you don't need to run three legendary weapons for the crazy super gain! You simply won't be getting DC benefits if you're actively using Pale Heart exotics, it has to be the legendaries. (Still Hunt is amazing in this scenario, since you're not using it too frequently) I hope what I typed out made sense, because It was a doozy testing this out when I first realized what was going on with these weapons lol
Got lucky with a Lead from Gold and Desperate Measures - this gun basically wrecks everything, especially the new Witness enemies. I love using it and No Hesitation auto rifle.
I'm really enjoying Demo+Hatchling for my warlock swarm build, I feel like the ammo economy is already really good on this archetype but I do slot Special Finisher on my class item just incase that give Special for for my whole team depending on the activity
I focused it with beacon rounds and hatchling. Stack damage by getting ad kills, then do crazy damage to bigger enemies plus the hatchling damages them.
@slime_ism getting a kill stacks beacon rounds upto x4. That x4 shoots 4 rockets doing more damage, as long as I have ammo and keep firing, the perk stays active. And when getting the kills to get beacon rounds, the threadlings from hatchling also sever and do damage to other enemies or the boss
The moment I picked it up, it never left my inventory. A buddy and I went straight to the Legendary campaign on release, this thing was bonkers. Now, I still take it everywhere, I get told to use other weapons, and I'm just like, "Why? It's doing work!" XD
Slice + vorpal + the fragment that makes a severing blast when landing precision hits + melee grants unravel rounds fragment+ hazardous propulsion on titan bare minimum half chunks EVERYTHING in game or straight up kills. I feel like a walking mortar launcher and it is absolutely awesome, haven't had this much fun on titan since season of the witch when banner of war and synthoceps was at its peak.
It’s so good. I have it crafted with slice and DM (from literally day one of TFS), and it pairs so well with the getaway artist prismatic build (pretty much infinite x2/x3 DM and slice uptime). It’s so good.
@@OOsoul it’s more so the shatter off of stasis. I was under the impression that gives me x2. Either way, I’ve almost always got it up. Overall, I’m not entirely sure.
@@Alex-ug9wx Ah, I see. I was testing last night and it did seem to work, but almost at random. It was probably because Arc buddy was killing them before they could freeze. So against higher level enemies the buddy can't kill in 2secs it could be quite effective. Thanks!
Subsistence and Golden Tricorn works hand in hand with each other... Kills reloads your weapon, procs GT, weaken another enemy or kill with grenade or melee kills procs x2 as timer extends continuously with dense of adds... A melee and grenade built is good for this setup or having both slots with GT also works to switch up your weapon damage but still keeps GT up...
3:46 PSA: Demo, pugilist, and im assuming strategist DO NOT ALWAYS GIVE 10% energy, it is based kn the COOLDOWN of your ability. For instance: firebolt will get closer to 13%, while vortex will only get around 5%
This gun helped me do my first solo dungeon and get my spire title. Just started playing 3 months ago and been grinding. LfG and tricorn is my roll and helped a lot.
I used this with winning hand (explode) and Sunshot (exploding) during 95% of the campaign on solo legend, absolutely set the game on fire with added solar perks in Prismatic 😊
Demolitionist/Vorpal Weapon. Lead off with a grenade toss, kill enemies with the gun and get that grenade back, toss the grenade again, by this point you'll need to reload, which is automatically done for you on grenade toss. Now you're in the loop as long as there are adds. See a miniboss? Thats fine. Vorpal Weapon is automatically activated once you shoot him, dealing 15% with each shot. And with my void/strand prismatic hunter build, i throw my threaded spike first to sever, then toss my magnetic grenade which is buffed by facet of courage to do a little extra damage, also weakens him with facet of dominance, then i unload with this gun. Health bars drain very quickly. Then go kill adds and get the grenade back. Repeat. Currently over 1k kills on this gun. Never had this many kills with a sidearm in destiny. Ever. This gun changed the game for me. And there's a solar one coming too im hearing? Geez.
So the Dealer's Choice only says PALE HEART weapons, not dealer's choice weapons. I've read people claiming they getting the increased gains with weapons like microcosm and still hunt equipped, and would love to see some actual testing on that
enhanced beacon rounds hatchling makes this gun a smart pistol from titanfall that cab clear groups with a strand build around hatchlings, i regularly see 4+ hatchlings per kill, 8 in the traveller, with just 1 shot it kills any red bar and can clear the rest of the room with hatchlings
golden tricorn x2 procs on prismatic if your super matches the guns elemental affinity.....the call is strand so you need a strand super equipped in irder to get 2x tricorn rolling your grenade and melee do not matter it is tied to your super even tho the super has nothing to so with the tricorn perk but it has to do woth the code behind activation of GT2x 😊 hope this helps someone..... its kinda like how osmiomancy is acting like controverse hold or how crown of tempest is buffing prismatic abilities recharge rate as long as you have an arc ability to trigger it .
Slice and Vorpal on mine. Running slowing dodge on hunter. Big target gets slowed, does 40% less damage and is taking 15% more damage. Loving this combo
Thanks to Rahool I finally got Swamers. The two new Strand weapons are a Rocket Sidearm and Machine Gun *both* with Threadling, both with Dealer's Choice, so the only thing slowing me down will be that tangle cooldown...and boss damage probably.
Strategist in that first column with Hazardous Propulsion = maximum exodus rocket spam. Pair it with a damage perk like OFA/Vorpal depending on your needs and that thing is goated.
Indebted Kindness with Voltshot + Stylish Executioner is like having a rocket sidearm version of Rat King where basically every time you kill then reload you go invisible. The difference is Indebted Jolts everything too. It's like Rat King on crack.
This is the best gun to use in the kinetic slot in between damage phases on hunter, since your energy slot would have still hunt, you can use this as well as swapping to supremacy fro doing the actual damage to the boss
I crafted mine with Beacon/Vorpal. Might not be the most popular roll but for my play style it makes the most sense. I only use it to kill yellows and bosses and I’m constantly moving/dodging so the heat seeking means I never miss one shot and chunk the yellows fast.
I started using this very early on and knew right away this was a bungie sleeper. Mine dropped with beacon rounds and multi kill clip. I Love it!! I know people will sniker at beacon rounds. but its amazing for the flying bats that are further away, literally dont have to aim.
for golden tricorn, i believe your super needs to match the weapon's affinity now. it also gives you x2 on a matched super on any element ability final blow, which strangely now doesn't require matching. the perk's either bugged on prismatic or the description/function was changed w/o notice on the perk tuning article. it wasn't mentioned as a known issue on the TWID
Strategist is really good for getting your Thruster back immediately so you can continue to shoot missiles with Hazardous Propulsion, If you use The Call and a rocket launcher they both get that 6x bonus to damage, Call/primary gets the rocket stacks; you always have rockets
Don't sleep on Multikill clip too, thing thing one shots pretty much every red bar in the game and with 3 kills you get a 50% buff. With the right combo your reload speed is under a second. Not saying it's the best, but it's certainly worth consideration
i got a subsistence, desperate measures roll and it is so good. desperate measures is perpetually going and never have to manually reload. throw in a melee kill every once in a while to up the stacks.
I used Subsistence+OFA first, sure never had to reload and it mostly procced OFA on ONE shot if add dense... But, when every red bar dies from 1 shot no matter if it has OFA or not, i went with Vorpal just for ez of use on majors/champs. And running it with double special, i swapped to Lead From Gold keeping this loaded constantly.
Why is everyone sleeping on Subsistence? Every kill reloads the mag and 1 shot can kill any red bar, meaning you literally never have to reload. Subsistence, One For All is my crafted roll and its insane
lol between the volta bracket and round robin, so far i abslutely love subsitence and hatchling together, being able to get a headshot and sent two little bugs to each kill and reload my mag, heysterical, i got a random dropped border of the call with that, along with a lead from gold multikill clip, that roll i 10/10 reccomend, it is stupid easy to maintain multikill clip at max and helps conserve your ammo so well
You also add high explosive ordinance to the one for all, lead from gold role and you will hit them 3 hits so much easier when they are grouped togther.
The thing about Golden Tricorn right is, intentional or not, if you're on Prismatic your *super* has to match too. So you have to have on your class's strand super and either melee or grenade to be able to proc x2 GT. Past that it doesn't matter what you do, on Titan Golden Tricorn is nuts because Knockout counts no matter what as a powered melee, so if you run Berserker and run around punching dudes after a weapon kill, you'll constantly refresh x2 GT.
I've been doing subsistence / OFA with a maximized blast radius. It's super easy to proc OFA off a single shot, and you just straight up never have to reload unless you're dumping into a miniboss for some reason.
