@@DrDrayzday Very helpful! So you mention Hydrating Cleanser bar but I am here because earlier today, I purchased Cerave Foaming Cleanser bar and I'm not sure if I should keep it. I bought also a small 3 oz travel size of Hydrating Facial Cleanser. (together foaming and hydrating but your recommendation offers both). How should I use the two that I purchased, please?
@@nunyabusiness756 I use it on my face. I have a propensity for acne and it causes no problems for me. It’s very thick and occlusive with a dewy shine.
Yes. There's some lotion from La Roche Posay that I used to hear Pixie Woo and many other pro makeup artists only mention as the face lotion they use on every single client. I can't remember which one now; it was sround $20 & may have come in a tube.
I recently discovered that I love the CeraVe daily moisturizing lotion on my face (it’s in a bottle with a pump, and is lighter in consistency than the cream). It’s a touch more moisturizing than the PM facial lotion but absorbs very quickly with minimal greasy feel, and you get way more lotion for your money. I have oily skin that can get a little dry when using anti-acne products. Hope someone finds this helpful .
Yes, thank you! I've been thinking about buying it for the face because it seems cost effective but I was afraid it might be too greasy for oily, acne-prone skin.
@@jonatikaWwe 👍🏻, give it a try it's worth a shot given the price difference and it's multi-use. I tend to forget that one pump of the daily lotion is a bigger quantity than a pump from the facial lotion, but you can easily apply the excess to another part of the body/drag it down the neck , etc 😄
I don’t have psoriasis but use the Cerave Psoriasis Moisturizing Cream. It contains 2% salicylic acid, lactic acid, urea, and Shea butter. I prefer this product to the Cerave SA Rough & Bumpy Skin.
Dr. Dray, this is my first ever comment on RU-vid. I came to RU-vid to find answers about my dry irritated skin and your educational videos have changed my skincare routine. Thank you so much for helping me navigate skincare products and I’m for the first time excited to learn and use so much more sunscreen.
In my room I have a sticker that says "THE ONLY DOCTOR I SEE EVERY DAY IS DR. DRAY". Couldn't be happier to have discovered your videos, my skin thanks you !
I started using Cerave because of you, Dr. Dray!!! :) cannot believe I’ve been watching you for so long now!!! I mean the minute you look at my vanity, all my skin care screams Dr. Dray! ❤️
Cerave Forming Cleanser (Normal to Oily) has changed my skin for the good. Especially since I am wearing less make-up due to the pandemic and mask wearing.
The SA lotion is the ONLY product that has ever helped the KP on my arms 🙌🏼 (I remember a pharmacist calling it “chicken skin” when I was a kid and I cried haha)
My bathroom is starting to look like a Cerave isle. My favorites are the SA cream (for keratosis pilaris) & the ultra-lightweight spf lotion (for oily face).
I discovered Cerave because of my dermatologist. They gave me a bunch of samples on my first ever visit. That was 3 years ago and im still buying Cerave till this day 💜 I'm hooked
I’ve been using CeraV for years and just love it ! I’m 51 and Everyone thinks I use expensive skin care - they are always shocked when I tell them it’s all CeraV… Thanks for the videos - you’re beautiful and you skin is amazing!! It’s refreshing to see a RU-vidr with a natural look and not overdone with makeup and lighting
I love the Eye cream (yes I know eye creams aren't "necessary"); lovely consistency, great under makeup, good price, and lasts FOREVER, and the SA cleanser :)
The SA cream or lotion is excellent amazed at the results I’ve had using it. Dr. Dray your channel is like a multivitamin that isn’t taken orally but still good for your health you really rock!👉🏻⭐️👍🏻
I’m so glad to see you go through and review so many of their products! I have sandpaper dry skin and CeraVe is the only product that works for me. Thank you for posting this, your professional view just confirms I’m doing good by my skin.
I'm 52 and had orange peel on my cheeks. The SA is effective in minimizing it and I use a dime size amount on my face. It feels amazing and lathers up luxuriously.
I used the healing ointment on and in my nose when I had a sinus infection last year. It worked so well. My nose never got red and painful. Definitely recommend it.
Love watching Dr. Drays videos. She is smart, educated and is so informational and knowledgeable of all the products she has on her channel. She is the BEST.:) Why would anybody watch anyone else but her, especially the people on you tube that call themselves skin experts and claim they have authority on skin but have no education or knowledge.
Today I tried the Cerave night cream and am in total shock. I can’t believe how good it is, how incredible my skin looks just by applying it once. Honestly, am still trying to get over it. I’ve been struggling with dry skin, couldn’t find anything that worked. Nothing was hydrating enough, or after 4 hours dried up. Then I get this and am amazed. Thank you, Dr. Dray!!!
Happy to hear that Dawn!! I have had the driest skin in the last year and ALL of different go to favs weren’t cutting it! I saw CeraVe cream was on sale so I bought it and about to use it!!!
Today I bought Eucerin Intensive Repair Essential Oil Balm. It is heavy-duty hydration/occlusion. I will be using it at night. It is like applying Vaseline - that texture and look, but it has different kinds of oils in it. I am using the Cerave during the day. My skin is really dry. Dr. Dray also recommended Eucerin Q10 Anti-wrinkle Face Cream. I got that and love it! Found out they have the same cream but for night. I’m over 60 and it’s been hard finding foundations . . . But found Jones Road Beauty is fantastic. Made for dry skin. Melts into your skin and looks natural when applied lightly. It’s the only foundation I found that makes me look better instead of worse. Today, I also got Drunk Elephant tinted sun screen. It’s fantastic. A little tint and super hydrating. Great for everyday. It’s been really hard finding product for over 60 dry skin, so after watching Dr. Dray, I just started buying and experiment and this is the best I’ve got so far.
I've been using the Resurfacing Retinol Serum for about 2 months and I loooove it. Helps with my acne so much, and my hyperpigmentation is also starting to get lighter now yaaaay!
@@reminemi1153 Hmm depends. My chin is my most problematic area and the acne is very stubborn. Everywhere else on my face, the serum really helped clear everything and now i have no more hyperpigmentation. But for my chin, i had to go on antibiotics for it to clear up. It did work and i've been off the medication for 3 months and the acne is starting to come back a bit 😭 So the hyperpigmentation on my chin is still kind of there simply because my acne keeps coming back, but otherwise it really worked everywhere else. I'm still using the serum and i still 100% recommend it
Every time I watch one of your videos, I feel like I need to pay a fee for all the knowledge I acquire. I am so grateful for everything I’ve learned from you. You have no idea how much you have helped my skin game. My derm. Is very impressed every time I go to him.
Absolutely love the bar soap for the face. Not drying at all and it lasts FOREVER! also takes off any mascara or eye makeup, no need for eye makeup remover!
Dr Dray, you should be the Ambassador for Cerave LOL. You have no idea how even us from countries far away have come to learn about this brand and love it because of YOU. I buy it online so it's expensive for us, but SO WORTH IT. They really should pay you a percentage of their sales LOL! Love you!
Re: Cerave It's better that Dr. Gray is not associated with the company in any way, therefore making her reviews unbiased. I don't always believe someone working for a company; would rather hear from someone not getting paid by them.
I noticed this weird chicken skin on the back of my arms last summer , did some research and bought the rough and bumpy lotion after two weeks of use the bumps were almost gone! A month later… gone! I’m a Cerave customer for life!
Love all the CeraVe skin products that I've tried!! My favorite is the ointment that comes in the tube for dry hands and the body moisturizer in the tub I use it from my head to my toes 😊 Happy Thursday 🍁😊
I started using Cerave one day ago and switched to the face wash and oh, man....such a difference! Thank you so much for helping my 55 year old skin!!!
The hydrating face wash, moisturizing cream, and healing ointment is my Holy Trinity. Unfortunately I really struggled with their AM lotion with SPF. It burns so badly, and I've had to go with something else. But at 44 I don't even want to think about how all of my skin would look and feel without CeraVe.
I started using cerave after watching ur videos on there products,, I’m very acne prone,, cystic hormonal,, n dry from menopause ,, I’ve been using these products now for 4 months n my skin has never looked this good,, all acne is gone n my skin feels amazing ty so much for the videos
Andrea! Thank you so much! I am from Germany and you completely changed my skin care life! Now CeraVe is also available in Germany and my skin is so happy!
I’m pretty sure I first tried Cerave because of your videos. Been using their products for a few years now and very happy. Love the skin renewing night cream (a little goes a long way), the pm lotion, moisturizing face wash, and the jar cream. Excited to try some of the other products you mentioned here. Thanks for always pointing me in the right skincare direction! No more fragrances or bs potions, just lots and lots of sunscreen!
Ive been using their night cream and I really like it for fall and winter. Its super balmy and a little goes a long way. The jars kinda small but the amount of product you need is minimal so the size makes sense. I have oily combo skin and still love it, not too heavy or anything.
I’ve had keratosis pilaris since I was in grade school (28 y/o now) but I never realize that’s what it was! It’s been years since I’ve learned to accept the little bumps on my upper arms but now I’m going to give the SA cream a try. Thanks so much.
I have very light skin and LOVE the tinted moisturizer. I would have never bought it if I'd seen the color first but it really blends in. It feels like a nice moisturizer and makes my skin look flawless, better than my usual 50 dollar It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC cream.
Dr. Dray is honestly just the best from a youtuber stand point a dermatologist and from watching the vlogs just a delight to watch really. I watch no one else
So I realize it’s not listed here, but the SA cream (tub with blue lid) saved me. I used to randomly get bacne... nothing very severe but always a little something on my upper back and shoulder area. Started incorporating that into post shower routine and my skin there is now completely without blemish or bumps like 95% of the time and even when I get a little spot it’s usually one and done and gone very quickly. Far and away my holy grail body care item 😍
Yes me to. I love it for the bikini area after shaving. My husband and I also use it on our feet, and I use it on a red patch of dermatitis on my scalp and it works great
I love Cerave Moisturizing Cream in a blue tub, the hydrating cream-to-foam cleanser, the oil foaming cleanser, SA cream, Cerave Moisturizing Lotion in blue bottle, the Retinol Renewing Serum and the Skin Renewing cream! 😅omg, it's thanks to Dr Dray that I stock up on CeraVe products everytime I buy skincare online.
The PM lotion doesn’t do much of anything for my skin, whereas the skin renewing night cream she mentioned is incredible. When I ran out and tried another product I noticed a (negative) difference. I’m basically addicted to it now and recommend trying it for comparison with the PM lotion.
I think just maybe it's not much different vs. THE tub (other than Niacinamide) and she obviously loves the tub ~me too~ while the purple lineup esp the shea butter cream is quite different in texture and more shown in ingredients, great for winter, great w tretinion as she said, just some thoughts : )
I recently starting using cerave moisturizing creme. What a game changer. I use it everyday. Morning and night. I only discovered proper skincare well into my thirties. Such a great product along with the hydrating cleanser in am and foaming cleanser at night. So good
Cerave PM Facial Moisturizing lotion was among the first products you have convinced me to try. Over the past three years I've been watching, you've never steered me wrong. PM remains my absolute favorite (the cream in the tub is a close second).
I use the Retinol and looove it. My skin feels really fresh after use. I don't have any marks from previous cystic acne scars in a period of 3 months of use. Totally worth it.
The itch relief is a life saver for sure! My little one has eczema all over his body and only this cream relieves him and make the itching go away for a few days.
I remember when I first started using CeraVe, it did sting for me, but I was also using other products that had perfume and physical scrubs, so I wonder if that made CeraVe sting for me. But I've been using it for years now and since watching Dr.Dray, I've stopped using all that mumbo jumbo, and so it doesn't sting.
It’s awesome, right?! I loved that it moisturized my skin but left a nice matte finish on my face, plus it also has niacinamide. To me, it’s like a more economical, mattifying version of the PM moisturizer.
Cerave used to burn/sting me at first. But I kept using and now my skin looks great and no more burning/stinging feeling at all. I think it was healing my damaged skin barrier.
CeraVe tends to break me out, burn my skin, and leave my skin dry. Big offenders are the PM moisturizer, hydrating cleanser, and moisturizer in the tub. The Skin Renewing day cream doesn’t do that but it pills horribly and leaves gross white flakes on my skin. The only hero product I’ve found is the Skin Resurfacing serum.
Cerave's SA cleaning gel in the pump bottle......AMAZING!! I just started using it and I really like how my skin feels and looks. I'm 68, for reference.
I have been watching Dr Dray for about three years. I use many CeraVe products. I got side tracked by ads on facebook and ordered Meaningful Beauty. Their products are nice but the starter kit cost $55 a month for 3 months. I am about 7 weeks in and already watching these videos and purchasing CeraVe Shin Care Products again. Thanks Dr Dray.
Another great Top 10 list, thanks Dr. Dray! I love and use many on your list, but my absolute fave is the Healing Ointment, followed by the moisturizing cream, then the tinted sunscreen, then the bar soap...yeah, I love this brand. 😀
I love the cerave healing ointment. I use it for my lips and I put it on the creases of my nose after applying cerave retinol serum. The serum is great but for some reason it brothers my nose. Also the serum awesome for skin redness too. My rosacea hasn't been an issue since I started using it.
Started watching Dr Dray last yr. Today, I'm using the Cerave Retinol, hydrating bar, PM Facial lotion. Even my friends use their retinol upon my recommendation. Lol. Thank you Dr Dray!
