This video implies that Hamilton is an hour's drive from New York as well as from Toronto, and then speaks of how residents can enjoy the two major metropolises. Hamilton may be an an hour from New York STATE, but not from New York City. Who wrote this script?
I lived in Hamilton and it is like really far from new york but is close to Toronto and has a pretty high crime rate depending where in Hamilton you live the cost is very different if you live in the ghettos (near downtown and the center area next to it) the cost is cheap but the crime rate is way high and vise versa with those who live near the edge of Hamilton and on the escarpment.
Personally, as a Torontonian, the city is great and the people are nice plus it's incredibly diverse, but for housing alone it's just not worth it. I would say London, Vaughan, Newmarket, and Niagara/Saint Catherines are all great places to live
Walt whoever produced this didn't know a thing about ON. Looked at brochures or something like that. My comments may seem negative but they're not. Just more factual. And your on the money with your comments. I'd sell my house now if I got USDs for it as the USD$ is about 40% up on the CDN$ now. WTF is that not going to do the CDN consumer any good at all. Even exports will slow down from the USA as they are going into or are all ready in the shitter.
@@Ninja1live Not sure why you'd say that except maybe to get attention. Toronto is one of the most liveable large cities in the world to live in. Yes, it can be expensive, as are most larger cities. The late Peter Ustinov described Toronto as New York run by the Swiss. I'm assuming you're not from Canada?

Pathetic , Hamilton is the capital of crime in Canada , you cannot live there and not have had your business , car or home broken into , so stop the lies .....ancaster the closest to being good is now infested with pity criminal breaking into anything they can get their hands on.....not to forget that hamilton has been voted to have the most corrupted police department , and that the place is rampant with leftist cronies and antifa thugs ready to attack any normal people .....nice try buddy .

I'd rather live in London or Newmarket than Windsor or Hamilton. The only good thing about Hamilton is cheap housing. And Toronto is very safe compared to American cities, but housing is crazy expensive, beggars are everywhere, and it's impossible to get anywhere because traffic is so bad. There's even a joke about it: Toronto is a one hour drive from Toronto.
Windsor as a city is not much to talk about with downtown homelessness, drug problems, crime, unemployment, etc But neighborhood communities such as Tecumseh, LaSalle, Amherstburg, and Lakeshore are wonderful places to live and raise a family. As far as towns go, Paris Ontario just outside of Brantford is one of the best towns in Ontario by far to live, everything is nearby within 30 mins to a hour to all major cities, has beautiful shops, trails, waterfalls, hardly any snow with long beautiful summers, and it's housing is relatively cheap is the major reason why it's growing at a tremendous pace.
MASHA ALLAH !!! A Very Beautiful, Informative, Interesting And Educative Visual Brief On Canada. Particularly, On Ontario, A Very Scenic And Beautiful Province Of CANADA. Thanks So Much To Share. Jazzak Allah Khair. With Due Thanks And Regards: SNR. (FFP). .... ... .
I live in Toronto and love it. I grew up in Peterborough and think its great for a smaller city experience. I have spent a lot of time in Ottawa and think it would be a great place to live. They did not mention Kingston and the Thousand Islands area. I had a lake property there. Also beautiful.
I was born and raised in Brantford and have lived in Niagara Falls and presently live in Hamilton. Niagara Falls and the Niagara region was a wonderful place to live, unfortunately my work opportunities took me to Hamilton. For me, Hamilton took a little bit of getting used to, but it's also a pretty good place to live. I like it here.
@@nebeanichigozie1292 I wish I could help, but as 6th generation citizen, I have no idea what the process is gain entry. There must be info on the web or advisors you can hire. When I was relocated to Boston for a while I used immigration lawyers to help me with their process.
Pretty much everything they said about Ottawa applies to Toronto. Except Toronto has better universities and more attractions in general. Only thing is the crime rate in Toronto. Ottawa is much smaller which makes it more convenient and tourist friendly (Toronto has many tourist attractions but I feel that is more for residents of the gta). But hey what do I know as a Canadian.
The Canadian Crusader to bad you didn’t see Toronto in the 60s and 70s it was the greatest place to grow up. I left there in 1980 and you couldn’t pay me to go back even to see family.
I live in Windsor and I gotta say that it is true that home prices are low but unfortunately I see a lot of homeless people in downtown, but the crime rates are fair.
@@frankihatch It’s sad seeing homeless people suffering in the cold, so don’t be a jerk about it because I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t like it if you were homeless.
Didn't mention London, Ontario, way better than Hamilton or Windsor and should be in the top 5. Also no mention of Kitchener-Waterloo, better than at least 4 of the places named. She says that Hamilton is close to New York, not mentioning that this is Buffalo, NY, not New York City. Poor choices throughout this list.
London, Hamilton, Windsor., All the same..no JOBS,. Kitchener-Waterloo was probably once a nice small town at one time. But its a sprawling ugly suburb like other places not that far from Toronto.
I don't know who wrote this bit of propaganda but I live in Northwestern Ontario and have lived in some of these places for a period of time. Rather then go through each city one by one lets start with crime in southern Ontario. It is exceptionally high with many gangs. For most of these criminals to escape prosecution from this area, they run to Northern and northwestern Ontario. Most of these places are so heavily over run by tourists they are literally garbage dumps with people walking through them. Getting a job in these places you need a few things. 1. a lot of money.to go job hunting so you can survive. It's extremely expensive. 2. It's not what you know, but who you know, to get a job. And you need to be a great ass kisser. 3.Transportation. Better take a bicycle and a suit of armor. Parking is expensive if you can find it, and the area roads and highways are in a perpetual state of repair or building. Cyclists take their lives in their hands daily and walking is just as hazardous. 4.If you are flying into this area you must first go through Toronto. The Airport is rife with pickpockets and baggage thieves, Even then expect long walks to either your flight connection or to get a cab. Baggage is frequently lost or broken into before you MAY get it back. Yes I go these places frequently. It's part of my job. Would I have published this piece of southern Ontario BS? Not is a million years.
I will come to next year Canada at Ontario with my problems visa I visit all beautiful loacatins Thank you universe given this great part with me and family Thank you universe.
Amazing video, A friend of mine referred me to a financial adviser sometime ago and we got talking about investment and money. I started investing with $120k and in the first 2 months , my portfolio was reading $274,800. Crazy right!, I decided to reinvest my profit and gets more interesting. For over a year we have been working together making consistent profit just bought my second home 2 weeks ago and care for my family....
@rachealhubert74 Quitting may not be the best approach if you ask me. This is where an AI comes into the picture. I barely have time to trade myself as my job swallows up most of my time. Bridget Mary Turow, a licensed fiduciary whom has made me over 5 figures in profit in less than seven months, handles my investments. I could leave you a lead if you need help.
@rachealhubert74 Bridget Mary Turow her trading strategies is working for me for more than a year now and I’m making good profit from the stock market and she's 100% honest, reputable and trustworthy
People who live in Windsor made fun of Detroit. In the summer pre-Covid Windsor's downtown would be filled with white American kids coming across the border to take advantage of our lower drinking age, and of course now pot is legal in Canada. Also, the strip bars in Windsor were waaay better than the strip bars in Detroit, if they had any.
They sold out our manufacturing to slave/ child labor markets under the guise of globalism- raising the standard of living in third world countries. Decades later , only the 1% of the 1% has benefitted . Why are we not facing this betrayal and bringing manufacturing back home? Windsor has been hit very hard by this, im down the 401 in London which suffered also. They justified this by saying we are becoming a service based economy..in other words high unemployment and a minimum wage service job
They should have just given all of the placing within the GTA. 10 Markham 9 Oshawa 8 Oakville 7 Milton 6 Brampton 5 Whitby 4 Burlington 3 Ajax 2 Richmond Hill 1 Toronto *Special mention Pickering Vaughn Newmarket Kleinburg Aurora
You are right. I live in London, On, very beautiful and nice city. this video show how beautiful the community of London is ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ixtbRiJjJDM.html
Ha I like that they list Toronto as number 10 not sure Elliot lake even fits in with this list. If you include Elliot Lake you need to also include Thunder Bay or Huntsville
hahaha when hamilton popped up and all i saw were trees i laughed. Although it is true that Hamilton has alot of amazing nature and SO MUCH POTENTIAL.......they conveniently left out the biggest flaw that ruins the city...... THE BIG UGLY STINKY SMOKEY FACTORIES POLLUTING EVERYTHING
Hamilton, the city of waterfalls, and idiots in flip flops falling off of them. They're all great places but not in the way this is saying. How about some accuracy?
The first 4 of these are in the GTA. If you want to come to Windsor, assume you're driving everywhere as the bus. Only about 3 of the pictures were from Windsor. Might want to sort out your pictures, as you showed the city hall of Toronto for Ottawa.
Hamilton and Windsor are depressed towns, crime, high unemployment. not sure how they made the list. There are much better towns worthy of there spots like Guelph, Kitchener- Waterloo, Markham etc.
Bill Brian: I agree with you except for. Traffic congestion, travel times and road rage. And when it snows most cant drive in the snow at all. Salted roads give the impression that you may drive like it's summer. Unless your from the snow belt or a real experienced Winter driver which the latter may not.
psst Guelph, Kitchener- Waterloo, Markham are not real cities they are SUBURBS, suburban sprawls. They don't have downtown or central areas. Hamilton, London and Windsor are the only real other cities south of Toronto, even though Windsor and London are small.
If I udersdtood well she said that Hamilton is located between two main cities Toronto in Canada and New York in USA....However, in think from Hamilton Ontario to New York City there are a bunch of hours!
I went to University of Western Ontario and yes, London is a very nice midsize city in southwestern Ontario. Its' university often tops the list as the best party university in Canada. The city itself is big enough to have all the amenities but small enough to get around in.
You chose Windsor over Kingston ? Windsor is one of the ugliest cities in the country, has massive unemployment. Yes it's right across the river from Detroit but believe me, that's not a plus
