Don’t forget the Palazzo! Great location on Front Beach Road. Large beautiful condominiums right on the beach. Amazing sunsets! Balconies overlooking the beach and beautiful white sand. We love it!
This is coming from a family point of view. So if it’s all adults then this might not be for you. But 2 of the best places my family stayed at is the Shores of Panama and Splash Resort. We really want to try holiday inn resort but it’s always so darn expensive, not that these are much cheaper. Every penny counts though lol. Shores of Panama probably has the best/nicest pool of any place we’ve ever stayed. Just look up the pics to see for yourself. Rooms are always nice and spacious. Last year the room we stayed in had the Pac-Man/ Mrs Pac-Man arcade in there. Pretty darn cool. There are 2 huge cons when it comes to the shores of Panama though. The elevator takes forever, literally 20-30 min wait no matter when you try to use it. First time we stayed there, we had a room in the 20th floor and parking deck is only 9 stories high I think. Our spot was designated on the top deck. So we ended up running the stairs up and down whenever we wanted to go somewhere. Eventually we got smart and pressed the elevator button early and waited in the room with our door open until it came. We were pretty close to the elevator. But seriously, it’s awful. The last time we stayed, we were on the 6th floor and had a parking spot on the 6th floor as well. So if you’re not in good shape prepare to wait. The other big con basically has to do with the parking deck. Very tight parking and very tight turns. Not to mention, your parking spot doesn’t align with the your rooms location. Obviously, if you’re above 9 stories you can have a spot on your floor but you could have a 2 floor room with parking on the higher levels or vice versa. If not for the elevator problem then it would be a big deal. But if you have a full size suv or truck, be prepared to drive super carefully and wait a little longer at turns, because the other folks don’t know how to drive properly. The splash resort is really nice. Multiple pools and a kids water play area under the hotel. So it’s not an indoor pool/play area but it’s underneath the hotel’s overhang I guess you’d say. So you’ll be able to play and swim and not be directly in the sun the entire time. But they do have a pool and lazy river that’s in the sun. The kids water play area dumps some cold ass water on those kids. As an adult I hate it but my kids love it. Rooms are really nice too. Only real potential draw back was that the height restriction in the parking deck was super low. I believe 7 ft. In a full size suv with a cargo topper on the roof, you’ll 100% hit it. Not sure why it’s that low and it didn’t mention it in the booking. We normally travel with one on our roof but for whatever reason we just didn’t that year. So I have no idea if it would have hit it or not. But of course the sign is on a chain and hanging down like in most decks. So I’m assuming you could hit it and it’ll just rub across the top of your bag. But if you go to PCB or Florida in general, as much as we do, you know everyone and they mama will be in either a big full sized suv or a big full sized truck with oversized tires. So idk how that works for them. But if you haven’t stayed in either one of these resorts, I suggest that you do. Super nice and you can spend most of your day there without feeling like you’re missing out on something.
I never usually rent a condo or go to one since my grandpa lives in the town (not on the beach) so we usually just stay there and drive out to the beach, but I’m planning on saving up to give my famliy an amazing gift vacation! Panama City is so much fun, with shopping, attractions for kids, and a beautiful beach. This is the top star place to bring your kid too and to have big groups for fun! I’ve driven by the flamingo motel before, my parents have stayed their and my friends. It seems pretty nice and for someone who would like flamingos too! 😂 My grandmother was also interested into getting a condo at the aqua resort, when my mom and her toured it, they stated that it was INSANELY fancy and nice though expensive, this would be a great place for honey moons and couples vacations!
I live here and let me tell you some of my fav places to hang. 1 city pier NOT county 2 Thomas donuts 🍩 3 schooners❤️ 4 Ferris wheel 🎡 5 mini golfing 🏌️♀️ 6 beach fires 🔥

We love having a timeshare at Landmark Holiday Beach Resort. It is so amazing to walk through that door and be met with that view of the Gulf of Mexico! If you ever stay there walk across the street to Mike's restaurant. It never disappoints!
I've been here three times and three resorts it is beautiful the first time in 2015 We stayed at the auqua on the 10th floor in 2017 we stayed at the calypso resort in 2019 we went to Ana Maria Island south of Tampa in 2020 we were going to Disney but they opened they day so we went back to Panama city and stayed at the grand Panama on the 19th floor that is the tallest I've ever been in a building.
Panama City Beach on the west end it's fantastic. Pier Park is w fun place to be as well a lot of shop places to eat different things to do. Jesus is returning. Be ready. Don't get left behind.
Don’t forget SPLASH Resort. They’re awesome for family’s with kids. They have 2 pools, 1 lazy river, a mini toddler water park, and a water park for big kids! They’re amazing and they’re hotel is located on the beach. They have wonderful staff and are very easy to book.
I think the Calypso Resort is missing from this list! Can walk to Pier Park and never have to take your car. Also Tiki Bar and heated pools directly on the beach ⛱
I stayed at the sunbird for my families first florida trip. This was like 6 years ago and i know they’ve undergone reconstruction but when we stayed there it was a great experience. Greattt location with more people around if thats your sort of thing
