@@MortyMortyMorty Different. The current version has more layers and dimensions than DHP but both are legends and work in different situations. DHI is a little more intimate and romantic. DHP leans more social and elegant modern masculine.
Gucci guilty is lovely but I find it really doesn’t last… peach de Cartier however is a bomb on my skin .. it just lingers around me and the complements are a joke
We're you as surprised as I was when you first smelled 3AM?? Not what I was expecting but I luv the stuff. I felt like I was walking down the street and found a hundred dollar bill out of nowhere
Over time, so far, these are my fav designer scents: - Armaf Tres Nuit - Armaf CDN Milestone (recent sniff and will be getting a bottle) - Cartier L'Envol EDP - DG The One EDP - Azarro Chrome Pure - Versace Dylan Blue and Eros (EDT-only smelled this so far) - Nikos Sculpture (almost bought one; may do so) - Azarro Solarissimo Marettimo (almost bought one the other day; holding off on it for now) - Ferrari Bright Neroli (could be stronger tho). These may change in the future (well not the Cartier, Dylan Blue, Milestone nor Tres Nuit; these are staying)
At first I didn't like 3 AM when it first came out, I was all about I Am King but I recently came back to it and fell in love with 3 AM. I'm also looking forward to trying Guerlain as well.
Bought the Cartier Pasha Parfum last week as a relatively cheap throw-in on a three bottle deal...and you are spot on. It's an attention-grabber. Beautiful and intoxicating. I bought the other 2 bottles(The One EDP and Versace Pour Homme) as safe buys that I know I like, but the Cartier is easily the star of the show.
Solid list....and yup at the beginning I started buying frangances because they were smelling good to others people...now 3 years in a hobby I buy stinky scents that I love 😅😅😅
The Terre D’Hermes scent gets pumped through the vents of some of the finest hotels around the world. I struggle understanding why anyone would not like it. It’s fresh, elegant, rich, spicy and well balanced. Is it the best for a hot outside lunch with friends, no, but I still interpret as at least somewhat fresh. Awesome fragrance.
@stayfreshproductions. Justin, I've gotta say that it's pretty awesome of you to admit/share how you were at one time concerned over what folks would think of you for wearing a scent that's not "croud pleasing" regardless of the fact that YOU actually enjoyed the fragrance. I'm sure MANY of us have felt that way, but are unwilling to say it out loud.. It's a wise statement and I know that I can relate and many others probably can as well. Good on ya man!😊
I agree with most, I thought all designers were boring until I got a sniff of Guerlain L'omme Ideal EDP and Dior Homme parfum and YSL Bleu Electrique. All are so hard to find at a good price since I am from Singapore, the frustration!!!!! I will definitely look into your recommendations Justin.
I have GOT to get my hands on a bottle of Dior Homme Parfum. I have Alexandria Fragrances Leather Intense and I love it. Every time it comes in stock I don't get over there in time
I can say you absolutely love Terre d'Hermes because i found Bleu noir edp similar to it during its drydown and both are in your favourite designer fragrances
I see this all the time, but I don't find the two similar at all. I've love TDH from first smell, while BN smells to me like hairspray. I'm still giving it some time, and it's mellowing for me, but I still would never connect the two.
I find the bottom end of your list interesting. I was asked by a associate, what perfumes should he get to get compliments. I said sweet vanillas, jokingly. He recoiled in horror and asked me to give him an actual shortlist. The shortlist: Terre D'Hermes, Dior Homme Parfum, Guerlain L'Homme Ideal L'Intense and Tom Ford Beau de Jour. I thought these would be the best perfumes for a non frag head. Easy smash hits for a 40+ year old man, wide appeal and appeal from women(not girls) in particular. Were you thinking of the same profile when you selected them? or is this a wierd coincidence?
Justin, my man, tx for video. I have to tell you that in a year and a half, my husband used 3 x 100 ml of 3AM as an intimate deodorant and now he is in trouble because there is nothing left to buy in Croatian online shops!!!Winner is Hermes Givre.
Really like your choices Justin! Great video again. I tried most of them, but actualy don't own any of them. Pasha de Cartier Parfum I stil have to try. You introduced me to the EdT, tried it and bought it the same day and it has become one of my favorites since. Maybe the parfum will also become one my favorites... time will tell. Tom Ford Beau du Jour is stunning also, but compared to Zino (to me just as good) it is a bit too expensive.
I remember when I smelled Gucci Guilty Absolute for the first time I immediately liked it. There wasn't a bottle for purchase that day, but I was able to get a travel atomizer of it. Fortunately I was able to secure a bottle later. I need to have the confidence to wear it more.
The first time I smelled Gucci Guilty Absolute, I loved it. My wife, however, hates it to this day. In fact, I'm yet to find a woman who doesn't hate it. Thus, I have nocknames Guilty Absolute "the woman repellent". Nonetheless, I still wear it sometimes in the winter just for me.
I have the same issue you had with Gucci Guilty absolute but with Tom Ford Ombré leather. I blind bought it, I like it but I still don’t think I can wear it around others. Partly because of my Middle Eastern heritage of wearing fragrances to please OTHERS, and living in the US now doesn’t help because it’s not common, at least where I live, for people to wear fragrances in general never mind stronger fragrances.
3am is nice. Floral and fresh to me. Where it with "her" to bed or on a hot summer evening. Performance isnt great though. Idk where they get bug spray from. Plus the atomizer is a experience
Not Justin mentioning Cartier declaration every time he does designers 🤣. I just might end up buying it just to experience what it is about this fragrance you like so much.
How can BVPHE still be showing up anywhere!? That's crazy. Ebay prices are laughable. So glad I heard you talk about it a few years back. I have a 90 ml and a 50 ml like yours. People on E-bay asking $250-$300! Wow. Never selling mine though. One of my favorite cooler weather ones in my collection.
Hello Justin, how are you? Outstanding job on the video and list. Thank you for turning me on to 3am. I'm digging 3am but my son's are getting mine every time I get a new bottle 😆. Stay safe brother and hi to Grace
Just read that Tom Ford was bought out by Estee Lauder last week. 🤔🤨 I wouldn't have noticed the straw if you hadnt said anything. It blended in with your shirt for me. LOL
@@stayfreshproductions Yes I have. It's just a little too strong for my liking. I'd lean more towards like a John Varvatos dark rebel for a leather fragrance
I love beau de jour, but unfortunately my wife can't get down with it. The ol' ball and chain is just gonna have to suck it up, cuz that juice is top tier.
@@stayfreshproductions To me green Irish tweed is sparkly. Hard to explain but I also think vetiver is sparkly the way it punches 👊 you right in the nose. Fizzy
My favorite Cartier is Eau de Cartier. Makes me wanna kiss myself!!! My 2nd favorite Cartier scent is Cartier Roadster Sport. I also LOVE Vera Wang Man
Love L’Homme Ideal EDP, but I haven’t tried L’Intense. Not a huge fan of Spicebomb Infrared, which is the only other fragrance in know to have a spicy accord. Would L’Intense trend that way or is it completely different?
I tried a couple of Terre D'hermes at Saks and didn't like any of them! Too me,if I want to smell like grass, dirt or the great outdoors, I'll go outside and roll around on the ground for free!😂Also another one that makes zero sense to me is Creed Silver Mountain Water? It smells exactly as it's name, and how does the water in the mountains smell, attract woman or get attention or a compliment, unless a Hillbilly from West Virginia gives you one? 🤣
Believe it or not, both Terre d’Hermes and Silver Mountain Water have been reported as strong compliment-getters by many people (SMW for me), if that matters to you. But what matters most is that you enjoy what you’re wearing. If you don’t like them, it’s totally ok to skip them.
There are three tolerable designers: Guerlain L'homme ideal EdP, Fahrenheit Perfume, Zadig and Voltaire This is him. All other designers are horrible garbage and will make some hate you!
