Instead of saying "Throttlebots" I would simply say a Deluxe dump truck mold. He could be made into Throttlebot Wideload, Double Targetmaster Landfill and Energon Demolishor with minimal remolding.
Super wishful thinking and very likely not gonna happen but, because there’s a listing for Animated Motormaster and Hasbros trying to release all the characters from a set/team, I feel like it would be insane if they gave us all new Animated stunticons who can combine into an Animated menasor!
Thunderclash NEEDS a new toy. It's genuinely surprising he DIDN'T get one during IDW's run but a Motormaster retool could work, perhaps even being impetus for a Wrecker combiner. Alternatively a wholesale new Commander which could be made into Machine Wars Optimus down the line.
safe to assume you dont look at leaked listings considering we already know all the figures coming out in united and some of them were on this list, personally I would love to see anything from RID01 especially sky-byte and railracer, but id also love to see the new terrans from earthspark.

I'd say in regards to the Throttlebots, even Goldbug could do with a second go, he may be similar in transformation to Bumblebee, but he does look different, for a start he should be a bit bigger, plus he had the hood like thing on his back, much like Cliffjumper for so, so long, GB deserves to be acknowledged as more than a gold repaint of Bee. Honestly the Throttlebots really deseve new toys 'cause their old figures are heavily limited by their gimmick. For similar reasons the Spychangers from RID (if for no other reason than to watch more casual fans from after the mid 00s wondering why the heck Ironhide has a yellow head and cowprint)
In retrospect, Runamuck and Runabout would’ve made good molds for some of them to be based on, and yeah I do like that ER Goldbug, but it could be better 😁
I was gonna posit the idea of new Throttlebots matching the Legacy Rescue Bots Chase but then i looked them up. Chase is the RED one while FREEWAY is blue, so kinda scuppers that idea.
The Vehicons would be nice and i got a random idea for a combiner, though that would cause sacrifices. Tankor is the whole lower body from below the chest, Jetstorm is the upper torso and arm while Thrust is the other arm. A similar setup could be done with Strika and Obsidian replacing Tankor and Jetstorm respectively with Thrust still being the other arm.
I think the Omnibots have been forgotten cos their toys were mail-away so most kids would've never been able to get them, thus not fueling any nostalgia.
Some Energon and Car Robots stuff would be good. a Side Burn is inevitable cos of Shadow Striker. An Energon repaint of Titan Tidal Wave is possible, along with his OG toy colours. A Core Class Energon Optimus to go with Megatron that also comes with the trailer would be cool. The new Prime characters have been divisive but the Animated ones have had a better reception. A Superion to face off with Menasor would be great. Hasbro reps have apparently said Rail Racer is off the cards cos trains just don't sell and i think they said the OG trio were shelf warmers. Landfill is possible and i hope the rotation gimmick is retained. Also the OG was repainted twice in all yellow and Constructicon colours. SkyByte getting a new toy would be a nice way to tribute his recently deceased actor.
Never got good Thunderhoof. I loved 2015 RID. Wish that would come out on DVD. Fun stories. I agree so much with your 10 and 9 picks and I say all three Omincons! G1 sells! And this will sell out. There are so minor characters that we haven't had yet with new updated modes. . I also think think the other three insecticons. Okay Polar Claw. I didn't think about him but good size bear would be good. I didn't get too much of the new Cyberverse, RID, Animated cause I have the original toys which to me still hold up so beautifully. I like the new G1 cause the modes are updated but still hold true to the characters.
I'd like to see a retooled/repaint of energon megatron from the Legacy Galvatron Mold. maybe Energon Inferno, Rescue Bot and Rescue Bot academy characters, specificly Rescuebot Heatwave. also Sky-Byte from RID 2001
Rack N Ruin could be made as Modulators/whatever that each turn into the same green car but can be attached together if you have both, if they're not released in a twin pack.
Stock images for Legacy Gears just dropped so you're in luck. For Omnibots, Overdrive could be a retool of WFC Sideswipe but he might need to be bumped up to Voyager class to add a slightly more complex chest transformation, the bumper blaster and wings. For the rest of the Voyager budget, I'd include a Mini-Con or Battle Master of some sort. Or Hasbro could go the cheap route and redeco Kingdom Tracks/Road Rage. I can see how the other two might be retools of existing figures but Overdrive would be the most interesting final product. I think my number one pick would be an RID 2001 Megatron but, considering that Transmetal II Megatron was in Leader class, I can't see all of the RID Predacon's forms fitting into that price point with modern articulation expectations. Fortunately, it looks like we're due to get at least one more RID 2001 figure soon, since Shadow Striker is an obvious pretool for Side Burn. Apart from that, a few Energon Autobots with the ability to Powerlinx together would be great and I'd love a new RID 2001 Dreadwind + Smokejumper (although I imagine Hasbro would rather use the original G2 Dreadwing + Smokescreen colour scheme). Bonus points if they can combine with the Legacy Armada Megatron...
G2 cyberjets would be cool, 3 molds with a bunch of retool potential, also rid 2001 spychangers, also a buch of retools and some current mold would work for them.
If they do Steeljaw, they should totally make a retool of RID polar claw, since they share the same body type. We need more polar claw representation and i'd rather the RID design than the Beast Wars one.
My top 10 and why 10) Dreamwave The Fallen because I love that design and I think is the best one he's ever had 9) Armada Demolishor. I had the pleassure to held one in a TF fan event here in Chile and I need it 8) Bayverse Barricade from 1-3. Thats just a design that would be really easy to g1fy I can clearly see it. 7) IDW Drift. I want that original toy but I believe it could benefit from an update in the legacy line 6) Any version of Sideways. I think all of his designs are fire and I need one for my "Heralds of Unicron" shelf. 5) G1 Missfire. I honestly am ok with just a reissue of the TR figure because tracking one down with a decent price its a nightmare 4) Bayverse Scorn. I'd love to see the other dinobots not born in g1 in that style and I think Scorn is a great place to start 3) Beast wars II Scuba. That squid became my favorite since his first appearence and would pay anything to have him in my collection. 2) RID 2001 Railracer. Railracer is my favorite combiner period. That sillohuette, combining process and sleak design need a modern update and I'm willing to buy 3 leader class bots to have him. 1) Skybyte. I have ER Wheeljack, my absolute favorite tf character. I have legacy Knockout, my absolute second favorite tf character. All I'm lacking is my absolute 3rd favorite tf character, that being Skybyte. I'm planning in tracking every single figure this 3 have had for their own separete shelfs, but I still will need one version for the main shelfs, and that's why I need him in Legacy

Straxus. From Kingdom Galvatron maybe? Cybertron Menasor. Titan class. Prime Predaking. Commander class. Retool into SS Dragonstorm and again into Cybertron Scourge. They're all possible from the same base mold if you think about it. All three are three headed dragons and can all use their tails for weapons. In Predaking's case, his extra heads are based on his original voyager figure. For Dragonstorm it would be based on his figures that go from dragon to single robot like his legion class figure. We're never going to get a screen accurate version of him made of several figures that combine into a dragon. Beast Wars Galvatron. At the very least a retool of TM2 Megatron. Otherwise a commander class. I didn't want to say one you already did but I really want him. Thunderwing. Commander class. Leader class shell and voyager inner robot. They can combine in vehicle mode. The smaller figure can go inside the larger one. They also have the larger robot mode seen in the comics. I have a whole line of other things to retool this into but Thunderwing first. RiD 2015 Glowstrike and Saberhorn. I too like the RID 2015 Decepticons. I've always wanted these two. I can go for all of them though since they were all so interesting. Bisk, Steeljaw, Quillfire, Thunderhoof and so on. If the rumors stay true, we're at least getting a Filch this year so that's a start at least. Cyberverse Meteorfire and RiD 2015 Stormshot. Autobot Seekers. They can use Earthrise Starscream as a base or rather, be the base for a new Seeker mold since the Earthrise Seeker mold sucks. At least it's better than the Classics Seeker mold. I never liked that overall design and hate that Earthrise kept so close to it for Starscream. Rail Racer. Sure they didn't sell well at first but that's because they were larger than deluxe but smaller than mega but sold as mega anyway due to how Hasbro has to keep their price points. So many people stayed away from them for that. And for those who keep spouting that trains don't sell well outside of Japan; You do know that Thomas is one of the biggest selling toys worldwide? Trains don't sell? You sure about that? Am I the only one who remembers the HUGE sections Thomas had in Toys R Us stores? The only area in the store where you can actually play with the stuff before you got them since they had a setup for it. Just make sure they're Thomas track compatible and you open up a whole new market for these. Or have them be HO, S or O compatible (depending on size/scale) for the same reasons. Gigatron/Devil Gigatron aka RiD 2001 Megatron/Galvatron. Commander class. Otherwise it will just be worse than the original figure. It doesn't have to be a huge commander, just make sure to have all the toolings needed for all the alt molds and the wings. Clean it all up a bit and put if a few more points of articulation. Transmetal 2s. Just all of them in general past Megatron and Tigerhawk. I love their designs. Sonar, Ramulus, Blackarachnia, Cheetor, Scourge, PrOWL and so on. Obviously Cybershark will lead to Sky-Byte. Not so obvious is Jawbreaker being retooled into Cybertron Snarl but they're pretty much the same in how they work. Most of the TM2s don't have retool potential let alone redecos at all so it would be important to get them in when you can. Honourable mentions: The three cancelled new molds for Takara's Telemocha line. Rage the jellyfish, Manticon the manticore and Flytrap the plant monster thing. Speaking of plant monster things, Botanica. Even if she's not 100% accurate. Which they're doing lately in Legacy. "Monster Convoy" aka original Armada Optimus Prime design. Transtech. Depthcharge, Optimus, Starscream, Immoritcon and the rest.
@@bentalksbots Supposedly it was already supposed to have happened but was one of the quietly cancelled figures. Or so the rumors go anyway. I think it was supposed to have come out around the same time as Velocitron Hot Rod. I don't recall what line it was supposed to be in though. Now they might keep backing off due to how poorly Jhiaxus seems to have sold despite everyone loving it...other than the photodegradation of the white plastic that is. Then again, Tarn is selling very well. It's so hit or miss with comic characters.

My list is Cyberverse or IDW Whirl, Animated Lugnut, an Evergreen Barricade, Prime Smokescreen, a G1 Predaking combiner, Cybertron Jetfire, Prime Airachnid, Beast Wars Dinobot 2, Beast Wars Rampage, and I know this won't happen but I want an upscaled Volcanicus. Literally just take the core class Volcanicus figures, make them bigger, give them better articulation, and release them. It won't happen but I want it!

My personal list and why: 10) Thunderwing - He had a good toy in the first year of Transformers: Generations that would then be used in the 2021 IDW comic annual, the same comic that inspired Comic Universe Bludgeon in Legacy Evolution. 9. Energon Landmine - Many reviewers dubbed the original toy as one of the best in the Energon toyline, and it could also pass as a G1 Landmine since the design was used in IDW 1.0 and 2.0. 8) Beast Machines Obsidian and Strika - The first of two terrible twosomes on this list since those two were like bread and butter in the Beast Machines series. 7) Rescue Bots High Tide - We haven't had any proper submarine Transformers in years, and, in the show, he could combine with his Rescue rig to become a larger robot. 6) IDW Dinobots - I loved the designs of the Dinobots in the IDW comics, specifically those of Grimlock and Swoop. 5) Paddles - The Dinobot plesiosaur needs more attention in modern media. 4) Cybertron Ransack and Crumplezone - Just like Obsidian and Strika, those two work best together, and they were funny in the Cybertron series. 3) Animated Megatron - I loved the design of the tiltrotor aircraft that he turned into after Season 1 of the series. 2) Cyberverse Whirl - It's a mishmash of his Thrilling 30 and IDW designs, so it'll be like the best of both worlds. 1) RID 2001 Sky-Byte - A reward for him winning the Hall of Fame fan vote and, of course, in memory of Peter Spellos. Honorable mentions: 1) Cybertron Wing Saber 2) Nickel (the DJD's medic from IDW 1.0) 3) IDW Nautica 4) Broadside (I want him to be gigantic so that his jet and aircraft carrier modes can fit) 5) Cyberverse Astrotrain (same reason as Broadside, but only because he was bigger than Megatron in the Cyberverse series) 6) G1 Monsterbots

Great takes I got to agree with a good amount of your list if not all of it fs, Thunderclash tho I get the whole G2 love for him but it feels like since that Toxitron line is done I’d be down for a Leader Class IDW Style Thunderclash as a stand in. I hope we can get some key characters such as you pointed out Lockdown (who I think was leaked already) and Lugnut. Armada fans fs be needing a Sideways. RiD 2001 id want Skybyte and with Landfill I feel they can do Wedge with the combination gimmick but give him his more Rescue Bot Academy Look. Rack N Ruin on my life id want I’m a big Wreckers fan but also filling out the rookies with Pyro, Guzzle and Ironfist. A TFP Hardshell would be nice for Prime fans along with a Predaking fs. RiD 2015 I agree with Steeljaw and Thunderhoof all the way I think RiD has many unique Deceptions that we could get in the future. IDW shouldn’t stop with the likes of Blurr, Tarn and those Amazon packs, Ik the DJD will be a lil hard with Kaon so I’m thinking Lost Light characters like Nautica, Velocity, maybe a new Drift or a proper deluxe Rung. I’d like a take on a IDW Arcee if they want they could reuse the Elita One mold from Legacy. Obsidian and Strika for Beast Machines and maybe a Nightscream too I would love to see and if they REALLY get experimental a first time Botanica. We are Getting a Gears figure, and a Small Foot repaint I am definitely picking up. Solid list, but I think the rumors don't include any others except a Lockdown repaint for the Wal-Mart exclusives this year. Maybe for 2025.
Beast Machines a bad show?! My nostalgia goggles remembers that show well, and ignores Nightscream and whatever the plant-lady’s name was. I did like how it brought in elements of G1 like the Key to Vector Sigma and the the Key to the Plasma Energy Chamber as like equal and opposite to each other, and yet essential to Cybertron’s ultimate destiny.
Character assassination, tonal dissonance with beast wars, unlikable protagonists, reliance on prior knowledge of an amazing show while taking a d*mp on it. As a fan of silverbolt I despise beast machines. There are few characters it doesn't ruin.
I simplify my arguments sometimes when trying to make a point, but I was mainly saying from a Hasbro-perspective. There are things I like about Beast Machines (probably its own video), but overall it wasn’t my thing. Great you liked it tho 😄

Marvel comics Thunderwing would sweet. Some of the Marvel versions of others would be cool as well, like a standard size Fort Max and Scorponok would also be amazing. A Marvel comics origin Optimus with his artillery mode also. Next year a Commander Magna Boss, Scuba and the Kami Tank, Megastorm, BB and the BW2nd Galvatron would be sweet. A Superion would be great. Quickstrike from BW and all the Transmetals. A new Overlord and a reissue of Titan Trypticon. Id also love pvc figures of humans and side characters from G1 in sets...Spike etc. And then DR Arkeville, Marissa Fairborn, Dirk Mannis, Slizardo, Erin. A Deceptitran and a Lord Gyconi and people like that. Autobot Spike. There are loads I would like! Barely scratched the surface!

I stopped collecting Transformers because Hasbro *WILL NOT* make a full set of *RANSACK, BARRAGE, CHOP SHOP & VENOM.* Nobody will. Not even 3rd party. My goal was to upgrade my childhood collection. But when they revealed that cheap, lazy yellow & black Kickback repaint I said "Fuck it! I'm done! They're never going to make them." Nobody can complete their 85 lineup so what's the damn point anymore? Every goddam year I watch the reveals hoping & praying for those 4 figures & every single year I get disappointed. And I see how many new Bumblebees they can pump out. I see people saying that the metal molds to make these figures cost millions $$$. Yet Hasbro has absolutely no problem constantly pumping out Bumblebee after Bumblebee. Forcing that 1 fuckin character on us since 2007.
Well Gears and Lockdown have been confirmed in the leaked listing unless hasbro cancels them like the rumored that's going around of Sureshot and Drift being canceled and at this point Hasbro literally can do any character they own , I mean we never thought we get this many Japanese characters in Legacy but thanks to the very successful Haslab Victory Saber and Deathsaurus we're literally getting Japanese characters left and right and we did get the powerdashers as well , who were also g1 mail in only characters back in siege .
