I *do agree! My top 3 out of the lot shown would probably be 1.) the Masunaga’s 2.) the Reykjavik Eyes 3.) the JF Rey’s and a very deserved honorable mention for the Undustrial’s you’re wearing!
When you were showcasing the Masunaga Aster K3. Were there a shade to the glass. I thought i could see a shade of light blue or light purple or it might just have been the light where you recorded 😀 Thank you very much for your time to show these beutiful glasses
I love many of the glasses in the video but that masunaga frame is super eye catching but i think more my style is the industrial frame then the jf reys would be my 3rd favorite

I sent out my BRAND New JF rey to a local “sterling optical” and they scratched the blue paint off and are unwilling to admit they messed up! Anyone have any ideas how to repaint the blue on the titanium? Theyre the JF 3057 2506. The “lighter blue” variant. I know there is metal paint out there I just dont know what shade I need

*I think you might have made a mistake re Reykjavik Eyes, Isak:* I can’t determine if it’s your script, or the pictures. You mention details such as _“single piece of titanium,” “no screws,” “no solder joints,” “no springs”_ &c… However, at ~4;48, you can clearly see what appears to be a hinge mechanism and screw. It’s possible that what appears to be a screw is actually a rivet. But that’s moot re your claim of _“single piece of titanium.”_ If it’s a single piece, what’s going on with what appears to be a hinge mechanism? *How-and why-can a single piece of metal have a hinge?*
No mistake. The frame starts off life as one sheet of titanium, is then laser cut, pressed, and folded into the shape you see here. The end result is not one-piece, but this process eliminates the need for screws and solders. If I say 'the frames are one-piece titanium', then that would be wrong, but if I say 'constructed from a single piece of titanium' then that is accurate.
I like the Ahlem glasses, i particularly like Le Marais sunglasses, but when i looked i found that they are described as being suitable for petite to medium, does that mean i can't have these as i am a man with a head bigger than medium 😂
JF Rey really are the most stylish brand out there. I have their 3012 among others. They make gorgeous glasses (and others less so). The ones featured here are pretty nice.
@@m.m4982 style is subjective.The JF rey just look childish to me. I mean the bright colors, plastic frame, quirky shapes it look like something for a seven year old.
@@agnesolsvik you say 'I own a VERY stylish JF' but as I said 'stylish' or 'not stylish' is completely subjective. It's the same as saying I have a VERY nice looking car. It might be nice to you, but the ugliest car to someone else. Not saying your glasses are ugly or whatever, but saying they're VERY STYLISH is just your opinion.
@@agnesolsvik well yeaa, but I was talking about the frames in this video though, not your frames.. The frames in this video have a quirky shape, bright blue color, look plastic so the association that comes to mind is kid's frames

It's why he continually says they're his favorite designers and he know more about Eyewear world than you ever wish you could! LoL
