What makes it even more crazy is in his Q&A, he said he's self taught and started playing when he was 15, so its not even like he's been doing it his whole life. This is what natural talent and dedication looks like.
Im 15 and recently started really getting into guitar, tho i am being taught by a teacher not myself. But so far just becoming 10% as good as Ichika would be AMAZING for me! He is really amazing.

heres a tip for that style of playing : some licks are actually blues / jazz licks played on top of a very melodic / modern bass. try playing some jazzy licks very fast too

It’s crazy to come back to this video, this is the sole reason for why I started to play guitar, and haven’t regretted the decision since. Ichika has grown so much in the past 3 years since this, and I’m super glad I came to find him. Thank you Ichika for this.
Tapping is the easiest thing a 10 year old can pause the vid on his left hand to see wat chord he pressing then see what his right hand taps. An harmonics ar on frets: 5, 12, & 19👍👍
This video right here is the first time I've ever heard/seen Ichika play. It's truly a miracle that I got to this vid. I could really see his improvement. The Ichika now sounds more confident/refined
@@fer022097 I think you misunderstand my message this youtube version of this song is not the same as I miss you. I miss you is a lot more simpler and is pretty much a looped version of the high notes played here. I wished he would put a song that incorporated all the techniques like we see at level 10. I personally thinks it sounds better than what we got with I miss you
If you can do all but level 8 then you should just try it a bit more. Tapping really isnt as hard as it is made out to be, quite a lot easier actually.
Great stuff man. I'd say I'm at level 6. I just need to learn how to get better at chord changes faster. Not sure about this because he used exclusively his fingers. Ive only ever used a pick on electric
@@ale9507 I find it quite easy to change chords, but I don't really know how I got better at it. I suppose just practice the shapes and different variations, eg major 7ths and 5ths. In addition I have no issues playing with my fingers, but I started playing guitar on a classical, so it's kinda my 'first language' if you will
Lil Wayne is so good. He makes Eddie van Halen look like a tea party. God he's litterally the best person to touch a fucking guitar. I I litterally jizz everytime I hear him play that guitar goddamn.
Not only did I enjoy the video, but from a writing perspective I could see this being a really interesting way of making music. Start with the pure basics and see what you can do with just those basics by expanding those ideas out further. Love it!
Bro... I've been learning the tabs to this from XLEZZYs video because I love the tune so much and he plays it at 40% speed... I haven't watched this one in a while and it just astounds me how fucking impressively fast ichika can play this.
