@@Khoolhwhip Mass Effect's music is pretty much all materpieces. Each and every one of them capture what emotions they're meant to make you feel. It's amazing
@@drdavz8359 YES. Now to get my daughter to understand and stop creating male shep characters for me to restart with... Also too early to replay Legendary Edition again.......
Mass Effect was the first game series to ever make me cry. Make a legendary story that series was. I havent found anything quite like it since. From the Characters, the music, the world, the environment. It was special to me.
Mass Effect is a beautiful game, this game made me smile, laugh and even reduced me to tears. For anyone who hasn't played the trilogy please give it a few hours, it will change your life. It did for me.
Coming back to it and talking to Garrus on the ship almost any time is like seeing a friend after a long time... It's a great game even after all these years.
@@ra5071 absolutely. Worth every play through, I’ve played it over thirty times over, and each time is a moment. If your looking for good graphics to pair with the good story, you could go with the legendary edition, but normal edition is still good.
@@ra5071 Absolutely. The games are VERY well written, the plots are all flushed out, and the games themselves aren't overly expensive. Some refer to playing them as an "Experience," because they strike a perfect balance between the choices of RPGs and the character building of linear-story titles. I replay them every year. Totally worth it.
@@ra5071 I know I'm late, but yes. I had never played it until Legendary Edition came out last year. I knew literally nothing about the game, but I'd heard people say the story was pretty good, so I bought it. Best story I've ever played, and I'm not exaggerating when I say that.
To Zanarkand still guts me to the core. It's peaceful, melancholic, moving, somber and everything in between. It truly brings about many emotions and all different from person to person.
@@leaf1555 My usual raid leader just mutes everyone who dares talk when we're in that part of the raid. (at least on the weekly first clear). But yes, the last wish raid also has very good music (if you want me to get anywhere fast, just put on the theme during heart-phase and I'm running XD)
The only game where you can be directly responsible for 8+ suicides, watch all of your friends die, and the wrong decision leads to unintentional genocide.
Ah, yes. Let's traumatize Shepard by having him watch children die to death lasers as he is powerless to help, giving him recurring nightmares. It takes a lot of courage to do something that dark in a game.
I bought an ePiano last week and To Zanarkand is the first song I learned (had some practice on a midi keyboard before). So beautiful. I can only play like 3 full songs so far, but this song alone makes me feel like my purchase was worth it.
"Only 3 songs" in 1 week. Dont stress yourself dude. Learning pieces can take months as a beginner, but thats the beautiful part of it to be honest. Enjoy it!
Leaving Earth is one of those songs that just hits me. Every time. I'm just lining up a couple hours worth of background music cuz I have things to do today.... was going to pause the video and go start a load of laundry first, then come back to do some work (with music background) at my desk. But I can't bring myself to pause it, have to let that piece play all the way through. It's just one of those songs.
I love deference for darkness so much its ridiculous, but on piano i have to say overture from reach just speaks so much more. It has this setting of desperation & hope laced through the first half of the song that I fear no other piece can or will capture.
Listening to TIfas Theme, it struck me that the FF VII Remake missed a KILLER moment here... Imagine getting to the sector 7 slums, to Tifas bar... And there you find Tifa playing this. This is your first introduction to her, and shows she got dexterity as well as skill. You enter the bar, a cutscene plays where a patron tells Tifa to play something, Tifa puts Marlene to the side and plays this, Cloud & Barrett walks in... Marlene and everyone is so busy watching her play they forget everything, then as the notes fade out, Tifa a bit embarrassed from the praise from Barrett, Cloud and Marlene... Then maybe she could even have some minigames like, play all the Pianos or something like in FFV... I dunno, would've been awesome :) It even fits since she had a Piano to practice on in Niblheim. Not saying that the Remake is bad, but this would've killed it.
the PURE amount of nostalgia this video brought me. Especially the mass effect songs. Use to be one of my favourite games and some of the best remixes i had listened to. If your into dubstep, i Very HEAVILY suggest listening to this song: Winside - Reapers
I still remember a few years ago when I was just a child. I was home sick, so I decided to spend my day watching RU-vid since I couldn't get out of bed. I started watching the newly completed series of Jacksepticeye, Valient Heart. I ended up watching the whole series in one day, the game was so beautiful and sad that I ended up crying. I think that was at least one of the first time a game made me cry. No spoilers but I definitely recommend playing or at least watching that game, such a cool game
Tifa’s theme is beautiful it really showcases her character kind and helpful. I’m also a Cloti shipper (Cloud X Tifa) so I’m just glad it made it in to the video
You're missing out. The Legendary Edition ( a remaster of all 3 games with all DLC) is only $25 on Steam, less than a lot of single games. 70+ hrs of content, and the BEST STORY I HAVE EVER SEEN IN A GAME. EVER. Especially in the second game, you connect on such a deep level with the characters that you start to think about them more than your family lol. The games look excellent, and combat is fluid and dynamic with a really cool pause mechanic for targeting and powers.
@@aris2042 truth absolute people were mad it won game of the year but how could it not I mean the music the cutscenes, etc. I mean I liked it regardless I didn't mind Abby story but when Ellie lost her fingers and couldn't play guitar that made the story meh for me cause there wasn't even something good that came from it but complete death between both sides.
Dude, awesome as always. As someone who loves learner these songs by watching you play them there are a few requests I have for you to do if you would like: 1. Finish the AOT songs you said you would do. I have been anticipating these for a while and really enjoyed declaration of war. 2. Do some Undertale. Especially some of the AU songs. 3. Along with undertale, I would really like to learn the song from the following playlist “DM Dokuro Undertale: the Underground” one song I would love is Sign language from that playlist and would especially to learn the megalovania part in the song from you. Again, you don’t have to do this if you don’t want it is just a request. Thanks for taking the time to read this though
I think we found your 1st volume super interesting because it was a seletction of intrigants, deep and cold game musics. I've been surprised, in a VERY good way to listen to it, cause the epic game musics we are used to is to common. Just to say that you did a super first selection and adaptation, hope you to continue like this I SUPER enjoyed your first vol, thanks for that.
@@AtinPiano No to be honest :c I may be wrong, but I found the first selection more universal, even if I didn´t know or play the game (silent hill for example) I´ve been super captivated by the melody, the color of the music. I think this is thanks to the way you perceived and interpreted the song to us, and also because it was already a striking one (probably the reason why you chose it). In the second volume, I have the feeling that we HAD to have experienced the relative game to fully apreciate and feel what you felt when you hear the song. Again I may be wrong or maybe it´s only subjective, and I think you did great adaptations in the second volume too, but it made less echos and stimulations to me. Thanks anyway for your work for us :)
How does one get to play as good as you 😭 I've just started and I'm afraid that its gonna take me a long ass time. I know we overcome limitations thru practice but this goal seems so far away
Suggestions Climax Reasoning - Danganronpa V3 (Minor Spoilers A Pianist is involved) Heavy Priced Paid - Halo 2 School Day 1 - Yandere Sim (Say what you want about the Dev but the Music is so peaceful if you aren't doing a [Pipi's] Route even in some cases It's still is like a yearning for a lost type for High Sanity/Low Atmo and Is probably the best aspect of said game ) Faint Courage - Deltarune Chapter 2 (Felt right to list it here after making a reference in the one above) Any other Minecraft Song
I don't know if you do requests or really use the comments to find new covers but I really want to see on your channel the song Meadows from Valheim. Your talent mixed with this incredible piece would be amazing ! Anyway, each one of your videos are beautiful !!
i really think to zanarkand is one of, if not the best, song in games period and i love a lot of different ost's. anything from octopath traveler and ori are pretty close though.
