I agree! I have been shopping around trying to find the right 650 Burgman in white plastic. Don't want one I have to fix all the time. No luck for anything anywhere near me. But as I age my blue collar hands just don't do heavy clutches and heavy bikes like they once did. And having spent most of my High School years riding a scooter everywhere, these new maxi scooters are a great fit for me now at 70 years old.
Makes me miss my 1967 Lambretta 150cc 2 stroke with it's 4 speed shift on the handle bars. I rode that thing all through High School. All the cool kids were riding Honda 90's and couldn't believe they couldn't even begin to keep up with my Lambretta even with my brother on board with me. LOL! I wore out the license plate bracket popping wheelies and shooting sparks everywhere dragging the plate and bracket on the ground. Never did learn to balance a proper wheeliee!!!! I do like that BMW 400 and the 650. They have full footboards for both the rider and passenger like the Lambretta did.
At 12:30 why do you have to push every button that there is on this motorcycle, do you think it’s fake? You know battery is disconnected at these shows for people like you!

We don't get many big scooters in the UK. We get the '400' (350cc) BMWs - for the price anywhere else pays for their 650. I'd like to see cars priced out of city centres because then we'd likely get far more choice of bikes.
To my opinion many of these scooters are nice but they resemble battleships....too big, too heavy. In the "old days" "scooters were popular because they were light weight, maneuverable, versatile and very practical in the city and on short distances...to go on a romantic picnic with your girl somewhere..... they had smoking 2 stroke engines, were affordable for the working man, as cars were out of reach. Years later scooters evolved into huge plastic maxi battleships on wheels with big 2 cylinder engines, costing as much as € 10.000. Where do you need those for? To go picnicking with your girl? No this madness should stop really. Better i. e. more modern technology is fine also for scooters...but as a general rule.. Less is better. Regards from Spain
I dont know why but i felt in love with maxi scooter recently. It is better than touring bike in my opinion. It can do long riding. Have a lot of space to put your stuff. And the best is the torque.
Remembers me Kinetic Blaze..Catch me if you can model..Actually it's a failed model. Becoz its too early to that period to accept its heavy built design and pickup..which only few consumers could understood and it should release it once again if possible.
