I have a serious question, and I was wondering if you could please help me...👌🏼 It's the whole reason how I discovered your channel while I was trying to do my own research...💁♂️ But, my question is, what was the most smallest United States coin denomination in history, and I mean size-wise...❓❓❓ When I was little, someone was once telling me the reason the nickel is bigger than the dime is because once upon a time the nickel was smaller then the dime and the people hated that the coin was so small, because it was hard to hold on to and people easily lost the coin, so they redesigned the nickel and made the design size bigger than the dime...👍🏼 Is that true, and if so where is that coin, because I cannot find it...❓ I would like a definitive answer if that coin exist and was that coin the smallest size-wise denomination in United States history, and if not, is there a coin that was ever created that was smaller than the dime, "size-wise"...❓ Please help me...🙏🏼

Sir you seem to be very intelligent and knowledgeable. I also follow coin op and couch collectibles. I just added you as someone to follow also. I have a 1995 d penny that is in awesome shape and I believe is a double die. I know the 95 Ds are more rare as for double dies. I also have a 1972 s that is in awesome condition. Would probably grade in the 60s red.I live in Springfield Missouri where there's not a lot of people to really trade coins with or get in touch with. This town seems to not want to deal with error coins.could I please send you pictures of each coin and you let me know what you think and maybe you could give me some information on how to go about having them graded at a reasonable price and not have to basically commit to a membership. I know about the grading companies. I don't have a lot of money to invest in getting them graded that's why I would like for you to look at them and tell me what you think if possible. Could you let me know if this is possible with you? Thank you for your time I really appreciate it.
Hi Joey - I can offer informal help but generally don't guide people through the process (my advice is always if you have the error and it'll be worth it, to just send it in through a local coin shop). Can always send to my email.
The only cool error coins that I've found is a 1968 D clipped planchet and a 1999 Wide AM. But I'm still looking for all those other errors two. Love the videos! And the channel!
