I feel like there were probably people asking for that especially after The Cleveland Show, and that was the writers way of shutting it down through the characters.
Glen Quagmire has some nerve trying to give Brian Griffin crap considering all the terrible (and mostly criminal) things he's done in his 60+ years of life.
Right? “Brian you’re so terrible for being an imperfect neurotic and sometimes hypocritical being. I’d spend more time chastising you, but I need to make sure I’m home to meet the roofies guy.”
Also he calls out Brian for wanting to bang Louis despite being Peter's friend. Like seriously? Look who's taking Mr seduce Louis the moment they divorce and try to sleep with his daughter when she turns 18
I think it comes down to Brian being a fake act, Quagmire know who he is and owns it but when he sees Brian pretending to be something he isn't all the time is what sets him off, from pretending to respect woman for their values to think he's some unique individual based on his so called writing and political views. At least with Quagmire outside of his bad acts you can still love and laugh with him and ultimately respect him at moments such as killing his sisters boyfriend who lets not forget, literally beat her into submission. He's a very grey character but compared to others like Peter he isn't the worst for me though that is up for debate lol.
@@voin5371 I don't think Brian's being fake. He's just like Hayley from American Dad minus him not believing in God. He tries to form a relationship with several women, he even took Stewie's advice on taking it slow and ended up getting cheated on. For the most part Brian wants a meaningful relationship whereas Quagmire just wants sex. And to be fair Brian sometimes just wants the same thing, and that's fine but the difference is how they go about getting it. Brian once hid the fact he was a dog to be with a blind girl and then after getting dumped, it was implied he would still persue her after he did a fake accentt. That's probably the worst thing he's done yet it's still better than what Glen would have. Even if he was just being himself and got her number, no doubt he would have still waited till she was unconscious before doing anything. They both do bad things but when it comes to women, only one of them deserves life in prison and that's Glen Quagmire while Brian probably should just be evaluated by a male therapist to avoid breaking any more hearts.
Remember the time Brian let a woman and her child drown as he was going to save the woman's life before he found out she had a kid? Or when he intentionally gave Stewie herpes? Or the time he used his effectively estranged son to kickstart his sons writing career and pretended to actually care for his sons acting career? Or the time he only wanted to prove to Stewie that Santa wasn't really simply on the motivation that if he wasn't he could see Louis's boobs clearly. Yes, a wonderful guy, neither are perfect but at least Quagmire owns it and does some good here and there. More than what I can say for Brian in past seasons.
You know, when they're just quick jokes during the show, it makes me laugh and I find Quagmire to be one of my favorites of the show. But taking a serious look at what he's done... My Lord, the guy can be described as pure evil! 😅
Yea no kidding. Makes you glad that Quagmire is a cartoon character and not real. Seriously last thing we need is for a real life quagmire here. Imagine those poor girls who've been taken by quagmire.
Let's not forget that when Quagmire threw a party in celebration of his 1000th amorous conquest, his 1st conquest was his 1st grade teacher and his 1000th conquest was a fish.

There was a very good point I saw once by a reviewer: "Glenn says "Go to the soupkitchen and help out like I do." But we've never actually seen Quagmire at a soupkitchen."
Not trying to defend quagmire or his actions he did tell Brian that he goes after women for their body but the differences between him and Brian is that he’s honest about it

*Hmm... I don't know, but I think in the episode where Quagmire "kills the Simpsons", at the very end when he sees Maggie Simpson, I still believe the Maggie who shot him. Note that in the part where he shoots Homer, Marge, Bart and Lisa, he shoots really fast, without even thinking. But when he arrives at Maggie, who makes that noise with the pacifier in her mouth (characteristic of the character), he takes a long time to shoot. In other words, at that time, Maggie might have found a way to take Quagmire's gun, or else take out her own. Since Quagmire might have hesitated to shoot Maggie, precisely because she looked so "innocent". But those who know The Simpsons, know very well that Maggie shot Mr. Burns (she made a face that left in doubt if it really was an "accident", or could it have been intentional), Maggie has her own arsenal of weapons, she saved Homer countless times, including against the Italian mafia (using her own weapon). So, I believe Maggie may have used her abilities against Quagmire, and shot him to defend herself and avenge your family. Since that baby is not normal, folks. She knows very well how to use a weapon, just like Stewie. Well, at least that's what I believe.* 😘💕♥️
I don’t know how the people behind Family Guy thought it was okay to have Quagmire force himself on Marge like that. It wasn’t funny. Killing the Simpson’s was funny but Quagmire forcing himself was wrong.
The issue wasn't the safety. The issue was that Peter's gun was pointing right at Quagmire. Quagmire mentioned the safety to draw attention to that fact. When you go hunting with people, muzzle discipline is #1 in importance and the #1 thing that will get you blacklisted by a group if you don't have it.
As with quagmire being a bad dad and doing some of his bad actions, I will say that Brian basically did the same stuff. For Brian, he did use his teenage son and tried to sleep with one of meg's friends since she was getting busty, and flat out said that it was god's fault that meg's life was bad and her not being pretty.
Other than Peter Griffin and Herbert,Glenn Quagmire is one of the worst and creepiest Evil Characters in Family Guy and Cartoon in General,People complains about Brian when Quagmire is worse,so worst that he should have been in Jail for the rest of his life,even Issei Hyoudou has more matters and is a Gentleman compared to Glenn "the Stalking Predator" Quagmire.
to be fair,peter is just a clinical moron and herbert,while being a pedo hasn't actually done anything to anyone (that i can recall but feel free to correct me if i'm wrong) and even saved chris from a straight up nazi. i don't think you can even compare those two to quagmire.
Been looking for something like this! The worst characters on Family Guy are always committing atrocities of the sexual kind, therefore I'd like to see Herbert's worst crimes as well as a timeline if that ever gets applicable. Make sure to keep this going for other cartoons!

But yeah those are the top two worst. Also I’m not justifying Herbert’s actions just saying that he’s just that tiny bit better than Quagmire. Both are equally horrible.

Considering all the other messed up things you mentioned here, I'm surprised you didn't bring up what he did to Maggie before shooting her. Also during a prank war Peter tries to infect Quagmire with several diseases. It's revealed he already has all of them. So in addition to leaving behind a ton of kids he's infecting women with a plethora of deadly STDs.
I admit that Quagmire can be really gross, like should be behind bars gross..... But there's something about his character sometimes that just makes me giggity giggity giggle 😁

Honestly, I overlook most of this for the sake of dark comedy but trying to sleep with Meg, that was the one time I actively hated Quagmire in an episode. Ignoring the Brian stuff.
I don't care what anyone says, Quagmire killing The Simpsons was hilarious. Funny enough, Matt Groening apparently was okay with the joke. It was Al Jean and James L Brooks that threw a massive tantrum about it.

Tbh the episode where his kid Anna-Lee gets dumped on his doorstep made me really uncomfortable at the end considering Quagmire implies he might have sex with his daughter once she's of legal age(why he cares considering the other sh*t he's done is beyond me). I mean who the f*** looks at their infant daughter and thinks of sex
quagmire hand's down. peter does a lot of stupid shit (some being straight up criminal) but quagmire does actively criminal acts on a daily bases so every rape,trafficking or any other outright crime he's committed is just one more point against him: add it all up and he's looking at so many life sentences that he'd have to be immortal and still not outlive them.
Speaking of The Simpsons, I am from Springfield Oregon. The town Matt Groeing is also from. He went to the other high school down the road from mine. My step father is the president of the local museum, which boasts many homages to the First Family of Animation. (It's also a nice sleepy town with good restaurants). Hard to find quohogs unless you head across the river to Eugene, next to the university of Oregon. Again, the food is great. Go ducks!
