@@masonparis5823 i still think they are manipulating him. and EVEN IF HE'S RIGHT, he's literally betraying all his friends and family. like i get that he believes but that doesn't mean you get to torture one of your own.
clarke and bellamy both crying and yelling at each other aND BELLAMY BEGGING HER TO JUST BELIEVE HIM AND GO ALONG THE PLAN GODDDDDD THIS IS TOP TIER ANGST IM SOBBING
It’s a bit like Clarke in the city of light , if they stayed there would be no pain , war , fear but Clarke chose to fight, Bellamy is similar but chose to accept
The thing is the City of Light would have removed all pain and any memories associated with that pain, run by the AI who destroyed the world. Transcendence would have made everyone into higher beings, but who would actually believe that? Not only that, the guy who wants that is literally willing to kill and torture whoever he needs to in order to start his war, including Madi, and Clarke absolutely refuses to allow that, while Bellamy is willing to let that happen for the “greater good”
this is not the same Bellamy from season 1 and season 2 and season 3 and season 4 and season 5 and season 6. I knew before he believed in the shepherd. Bellamy believing in the shepherd and transcendence shit is ridiculous.
This is the exact same as Bellamy helping Pike kill a sleeping army that was sent to protect them despite the fact that Lexa herself vowed to protect Skaikru as her own people
@@chloemayhew my point is that this isn’t anything new for Bellamy, to believe in something that’s so clearly wrong but it gives him purpose, especially because of how many people he’s killed. The only difference is that this is entirely about faith, something that’s so incredibly hard to shake once you find it, while with Pike it was more about revenge and protecting his people and Pike was the way to do it. He didn’t even turn from Pike because it was the right thing to do, he only did it to protect his sister. Bellamy’s seen so much war and death in such a short time it’s no surprise he gave himself completely to this cause simply because of his experience on that mountain
