Builds over 100 dockyards - fails to stop a naval invasion of Gibraltar, fails to stop transfer of units to Africa, gets sealioned, draws American fleet to Europe where it gets mauled. Perfection.
I mean I wasn't playing the game so I can't really say much, but apparently their navy intercepted the invasion and it still landed? Was that a bug or just a skill issue?
"This was supposedly going to win the Allies the navy war" Well that seems so obvious that the fact you wrote this out can only mean a Titanic level naval disaster.
UK: Hundred Dockyard build let's go AXIS: Thanks for the Dockyards USA: Manhattan Project? Never heard of it. The AXIS: Coastal Garrisons? Nah they won't D-Day.
I think he lost Gibraltar because he had to pull a lot of his very limited garrisons to try to hold Africa since the commonwealth completely dropped the ball multiple times in Egypt and Sudan, but I might be misremembering.
If that was me I wouldn’t just been like: You know what? F*ck the rules WE’RE GOING TO FRANCE TO OBLITERATE GERMANY FOR NOT HAVING A D-DAY WALL! LETS GO! *Activates the invasion*
The problem with "I will go all in on X" seems to awlays fail because at the same game teammates forget about X entirely and also about all other parts of successful game.
Losing the game to the ruleset has got to be like the worst feeling ever, the only thing worse then that is going full in on navy and then losing every strategic battle, i mean, thatd be crazy
The fact that soviets capped meant they could instantly send everything to d day. The rule is there for a reason, its because theres no point in dragging out a futile game
@@skanderbeg152 We've had multiple games where the USSR capitulated a week after D-Day and the Allies still ended up winning. Late game with nukes the and having won the air war, the Allies are monsters even without the USSR. The rule is being changed to allow the Allies to D-Day up to 14 days after the USSR caps. This game the Axis had a maximum of 4.000 aircraft and 25 tanks. The Allies had more than that and it would take the Axis at least 30 days to respond to the D-Day. The rule was specifically made for if the USSR capitulates before nukes and the Allies just go "We'll wait for nukes and win because we get it first". That wasn't the case here.
The Axis successfully Sealioned the UK. Where is D-Day going to launch from? Iceland? Newfoundland? Besides, both the US and UK navies got wrecked, no way that the allies could keep naval supremacy long enough, over a large enough area to do a long distance D-Day and keep it supplied.
@@boosterh1113 It's a game not reality, so just like Japan invading the US West Coast from Japan, they would just launch it directly from the US or Marocco, which they had. Italian fleet got mauled later on in the video, so they probably had naval supremacy again.
@@HDreamer it's difficult to coordinate travel time for the invasion forces over that long distance, especially if there are raiders. And invasion forces should arrive at once to put as many forces in at the same time to prevent losing one by one
I can't blame them for having that rule for soviets. Once the soviet threat is dealt with, the Axis powers have no reason to not bring the whole of their now battle hardened armies to Europe. It would become a absolute uphill battle.
This is so comical it's like an alternate history scenario. Like some guy just said "um the germans won because um... britain built ships instead of an army". Actually like The Man in the High Castle type of gameplay
I like how long sealion was bottled up and the UK got literally no reinforcements, you can blame him for getting sealioned but that was just criminal on the Allies' part
I would say “I never said the Axis wasn’t coming, just that they would not come by sea” but this entire video was an exercise in the axis arriving by sea.
See the issue is from the sound of flavius in the cirst couple of minutes he was roleplaying as Churchill, and decided to start by drinking his typical daily booze intake
