Even in Lego form that demon is still a creepy as he is in the novel. Also since the Nine Headed Bird/Demon is going to be in the new season as well, I wonder if that means that Erlang Shen and his dog will also make their debut. They did appear in the same chapter with the Nine Head and have their own Lego figurines. Plus after watching the trailer, I’d say their presence is strongly needed for this new adventure
Fun fact: Erlang's dog is called Xiaotian Quan (meaning "Sky Barking Hound") And MK's name in the Chinese dub is Qi Xiaotian (meaning "Together Little Heaven")
it's really a very logical theory, but there's also a nine-headed demon in the sets (and in the trailer), and honestly, if the one hundred eye demon wants to take his eyes, then what the nine-headed demon wants, I don't understand. I also have a theory about what happened to the hundred-eyed demon’s right arm: in set 80055, the hundred-eyed demon rides a centipede and has legs, but in the trailer we see that it seems to have merged with this centipede, well, I think Li Jing could have imprisoned him in the Pagoda, but at that time he was on that centipede and they became one. In any case, we are waiting for the season! it comes out this Saturday, so only 3 days left!
Oh that's an interesting idea about the 100 Eyed Demon merging with his centipede vehicle 👀 The Nine Headed Demon has one of the colour stones on his head in the sets, so I think he's just after the colour stones for some reason. Edit: correction - the Nine Headed Demon has a colour stone on his head in the sets. Not the trailer.
I actually think he is going to train mk Mei and everyone else because in a poster they are wearing some type of training outfit so I think that he is going to help the gang so he can get his power back
Just yesterday I was watching a guy reviewing the Heavenly Pagoda set and I was wondering why there were those pink demon eyes - now I have the answer. 0:39 if we see the remaining six spider demons, it will be like this... First of all, they will definitely be angry with the Monkie Kid gang that Spider Queen is dead because of them. And secondly, MK will probably have a heart attack when he sees so many spiders. 5:50 If this happens, Li Ling will definitely be furious with our group of heroes. Not only will they escape from the Pagoda, but they will also accidentally release some of the 100 Eyed Demon's power. Now that we know a little more about 100 Eyed Demon's intentions, I'm curious what the Nine-Headed Beast will be about? Season 5 is just a moment away - who can't wait?! Nice video,also have havr a theory that i came up with,i think that the show is being narrated by tang,for he was voicing over the beginning of the series,though you might think he was just telling the story to mk,but another reason is that he was also voicing over the end of the show to and in the megalopolis lego set he is selling books about mk and his journey, but this is just a theory.
So got lucky enough to watch all 10 episodes of Season 5. Unfortunately the hundred eye demon has a minor role compared to what is all going on. He is inside the Pagoda. His eyes are used to see events of the past and essentially locks his prey in those fearful moments to subdue them. Thus why we see MK behind him as the team is trying to rescue him as they themselves were just recently freed. I wont say more as it could spoil the 8th episode.
Alright so I've watched a review by Duckbricks on the Lego sets for season 5. Though we do see the eyes in the Pagoda, the Throne that Li Lang in sitting on is actually a segment of the Hundred Eyed Demon. Which can be added to the minifigure. I would theorize that the Yellow stone is the Left Eye removed from the Hundred Eyed Demon along with some of his power, thus the segment in the set along with the eyes which have been waiting and watching. I am interested to see the Six-headed Demon and the Hundred Eyed Demon working together as we do have these minifigures as well in a more standard form. Great info and theories as always.
