I'm not sure about others, but this song simply reminds me of Lexa, for most of the lyrics, especially 'I aim to die'. Lexa is always talking about her death, especially to Clarke, because she knows her death will change everything, the coalition, the alliance, the peace that she's working so hard on might cease to exist, so she wants to reassure Clarke that even when she dies, Clarke doesn't have to be afraid because her spirit will choose wisely, and even then, she had those little nightbloods vow to protect Clarke's people. Lexa aims to die, and Clarke is in her sight, for every move that she takes, she takes Clarke's well-being into consideration. True love right there.
I couldn't agree more. This song was meant for lexa and for clarke. It tells lexa that she must live alone and tells her the duty she must follow but she has Clarke in her sight. Even when she died the last thing she saw was clarke
total respect to the writers of the 100, like they found a way to make a legit language that if you read or try and decipher it, it kinda sorta resemble some english words... i can't elaborate enough on how much this song amazes me like writers ur doing ur job well *applauses with passion and tears* (also this totally screams clexa btw)
+Darth Maul in the wikia it's actually said that the Trigedasleng is derived from extremely slurred English words. It even goes far enough to essentially teach you how to speak the language with the nouns, pronouns, etc.
It wasn't the writers who created the language, it was David J Peterson, he creates languages for a living. He also created languages on for example Game of Thrones (Dothraki, Valyrian).
I attempted to learn it and already got the basics, but it's super hard if you've nobody to speak it with. I wish there were courses for it or something!!

In season two, she irradiated hundreds of Mount Weather people, including children. Her back wasn't big enough to tally up marks for all of her kills, and that was just by the time Niylah asked in season 3 ;)
The awesome thing about this song is that while it can be taken to be about murder, it can also be read as someone dying to atone for something. "I am fearless, I aim to die" and "I have you in my sights, my body bleeds" almost makes it sounds like they fought knowing they'd die.
this song is actually really beautiful for the 100. it's almost instrumental bc we can't understand the words but we feel and hear the passion the vocal has for this song and the scene it was in... yes, it does scream clexa but it also screams honor, courage and duty when you miss the lyrics. really listen to it and remember the scene, the song means so much more

This scene in the 100 with the song in it is probably the best cinematography in the whole series, it's a great series all the way though but the way this one hit was just different. Incredible singing

Ariana Lopez I was more referring to the scene between Lexa and Clarke alone in the throne room. I'm pretty sure the writer Kim knew the implications of writing that scene down. Haha. Ofcourse, to me, that's like.. swearing your life to another person. It's a big deal. In a way it's a marriage. Not the traditional marriage. But a life marriage. I just don't want the people who are aggressively supporting the other ship while putting down another character to get into an argument with people who are just merely enjoying the bowing scene.

+Ariana Lopez No. Season 1 Bellamy was awful. Bc he was scared and he tried to be strong to protect his sister. He realized that he was an jerk by the help of Clarke. He leaned heavily on Clarke's leadership, he learned from her and he grew into this amazing character. Then season 3 he becomes insecure. Bellamy had a role drilled into him since a child: a protector. Without Octavia, he lost his sense of purpose. Much like his sister, Bellamy is more of a solider than a leader since back in the ark he was a guard. When push comes to shove he looks to those in charge for guidance before making a decision, BC in bellamy's world when he makes a decision without help people get hurt. You've seen him hate on himself, calling himself a monster bc people got hurt. Octavia was caught and then Finn went and killed people then got killed. Because of all this and his inability to brush aside the feeling of guilt, Bellamy is much more skittish about making decisions.

And yes he is a rebel but he makes sure to get approval first from someone he respects, someone who is a leadership figure. Then at season 2 when Clarke and Bellamy pull the lever: killing men, women, and children, Clarke tried to bare it so the others won't. Leaves and hopes to take the guilt. Except she didn't take everything away; she ran away. Bellamy was left to deal with picking up the pieces everyday, watch Jasper fall deeper into madness, watch Raven's Heath declined. Bellamy stood and risked his life trusting and hoping the Grounders would save his friends and not kill innocent people. But then Lexa betrayed them, leaving them to be toured and maimed and slowly picked off the mountain men. She left them in the room where they watched as their loved ones were chained and got drilled through their bone marrow.
