the naturals were popular in my school when they first came out. I think its like the selection and stuff like that. people who are now getting into reading are getting to enjoy old series that readers back then loved too! love that more people are finding the naturals. I remembered it once I started the inheritance games and was like OMG!!
The amount of motivation Haley gives me to read is insane. I read often regardless, but she gives me motivation to drop my device and open a book. I am currently reading Billy Summers by the King himself (pun intended).
I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS SO MUCH ❤no literally I never was a book girlie until I started watching you because I read ‘they both die at the end’ and thoroughly enjoyed it and now I am reading so many ore books a month and I have fallen back in love with reading x you are so inspiring to read my book after I watch your vids 😍🥰
i have so much respect for people who can read this fast....it takes me months to finish one book let alone 11 in one month dang!!! freaking awesome !!
It really just depends on getting a book you like! (For me at least) Here are some recs based on ya romance: YA romance: 1. Better then the movies 2. The do over 3. Love wager 4. I hate you more 5. Love gelato 6. Icebreaker :)))
Was just on your Good Reads page trying to see what new books I should get that you reviewed and then this video comes out!!! PERFECT TIMING OMG!! Love you Haley!! You’re the one who inspired me to get into reading again🫶🏻
I remember first hearing (Dylan is in trouble) talking about red rising and absolutely loving it and it’s so fun to see how much you loved these books too!! ❤️
I highly recommend the A Song Of Ice And Fire series by George R.R. Martin. It's such a shift in quality when it comes to fantasy, to where it basically made most other fantasy series unreadable for me
I finished the last hundred or so pages of Golden Son yesterday in a few hours, and I started Morning Star. I read about one hundred pages of that in 2-3 hours. Thx Haley for recommending this wonderful series. (Would feel free to discuss Red Rising or Golden Son :)
i know this was 9 months ago, but i only started reading red rising because my friend kept BEGGING me to read it. i don’t really enjoy sci fi books and was not excited to read red rising at all, but i couldn’t help but fall in love with it. such a unique premise and pierce brown’s writing style has such an edge to it. i love the series sm.
I’m currently reading better than the movies cuz u suggested it a while back it’s sooo good so far and really hits home as a girly who lost their mom as well.
the naturals are definitely not meant to be supernatural, totally just supposed to be prodigies, and almost not even that because two of the main characters only have their gift due to their upbringing and parents so they are learned and observed behaviours that other people havent been exposed to (thankfully) because most people dont have those parents or experiences
There is this book called Sadie by Courtney Summers that is kind of centered around a podcast and I remember really enjoying it. It is essentially a dual POV with the podcast and the main character, Sadie.
pls read ALL of lisa jewell's other thrillers they're amazing, i've been in a lisa jewell binge the last couple of months, every single one is just incredible
I love your videos. I get so excited when I see you posted 😊😊😊 I have ordered Ali Hazelwoods new book. Looking forward to reading it. Thank you for your reviews.
You got me out of my reading slump after recommending red rising I read the first two books in a week and rated both 5 starts and gave the third one 5.5 nearly six it was so good but kinda slow for me
i think youd love the lumiere trilogy by Belinda Stott. SO GOOD, dystopian fantasy vibes, kinda like shatter me mixed with hunger games and has a really good christian aspect
How to Walk Away is one of my favorites!!! It is a hard subject but it feels like real life and I felt it had some really good comic relief. Like the boat seen... if you know you know. 😂 It's so good!!!
I've seen so many people lately not liking None of This is True but it was a solid 4.8 for me. I couldn't do 5 stars because Notes on An Execution and Look Closer were just a tiny bit better for me. All so well written though.
I agree with YA books lately. A lot of YA books I've read this past year had some pretty significant spice scenes and I thought I was being a prude, but I don't know, I don't think I'd want my 13 yr old reading some of it, lol.
Hayley you should listen to the audiobook of None of This is True because the podcast has music and the voice actors are so good lol I was confused at the beginning but it’s getting so good
I'm doing an internship for a police department so I chose The Intern as my BOTM so I'm excited to read it! First booktuber who mentioned this book so thank you! I was interested to hear your opinion. I'm going to read it this month while doing my internship!
Haley! This is a recommendation :D I would love for you to DAILY VLOG! It would be so cool to have that + as you have your book videos. Even if it’s not “Daily” Having vlogs will be so fun to watch. I hope you consider this ❤❤❤
