Pizza Hut used to put some sort of butter wash on their outer crust that turned it into the most delicious crust out there, almost on the level of proper breadsticks. They've stopped doing this and it ends up dry and somewhat bland. Such a small thing that made a world of difference, don't know why they stopped.

Thing is like any takeaway it all comes down to luck of the draw on the day as to how it's cooked... I've had undercooked overcooked and just right pizzas from all 3 of the main ones before. It sucks because it should be a lot more consistent from a big chain etc but it isn't. But that's what happens in these jobs where people make minimum wage.. as long as there's nothing to harm your health it'll always be the same.

My issue with Pizza Hut is the dough just isn't very good. It lacks flavour and feels really doughy and chewy compared to Papa Johns.Only good thing from Pizza Hut for me is the cookie dough with the ice cream.

I remember having the ‘seafood lovers’ pizza in the hut years ago. It had 4 prawns on it…..4!!! I’ve never gone back since.

Thin and crispy Pizza Hut pizzas are just way above Domino’s... Domino’s here are really chewy dough.. that doesn’t taste or replicate the texture of dough... and their tomato base sauce contains battery acid im sure.

i've never had papa johns but the pizza hut where i live is much better then the dominos where i am the dominos here the pizza is constantly soaked in oil and has literally no topping even if i ask for extra and there sauces have turned tasteless

I agree with pineapple on pizza. The reason they cook the cookie dough is because the flour in raw cookie dough has to be cooked to kill the bacteria and their probably lazy and thought they were skipping a step.

How can Beardy eat that particularly the desserts and say it wasn't bad and slags off Wetherspoons?. You may be a competitive eater Adam but never a food critique.

I know this is a few years too late, but the red inside that Jalapeno Popper was jalapeno. Sometimes jalapenos can be red or red and green together, it's pretty rare though.

They started cheaping out in small ways about a decade ago to cut costs and their product went straight to Hell. It's terrible now. But you can thank both high volume, shitty chains like Lil Caesar's giving volume away, and the masses for being dumb enough to fall for lousey, cheap food sold by volume. Pizza Hut HAD to change. Btw, one of my favourites of the big chains is Papa John's. My favorite is a mom and pop Shop in Ontario Canada called Pepe's which has been an institution for decades. They, unlike the Hut decided not to change. Their quality is unbelievable but you'll pay more than the chains. When it comes to 🥧, I'd much rather go the expensive, quality, hole in the wall route.

Ham and pineapple doesn't annoy me for it on pizza but because its called Hawaiian. WE DO NOT EAT THIS here, ha ha PLUS the Dole factory in Oahu was sent to the Philippines like 14 years ago, we no longer provide pineapples like before This should be called if anything the Phlipina pizza
