It's so much more fun when they have a hole that doesn't just run off on all sides, especially the back. Look at the Pepperell/Fox episode that was only as good as it was because there was a backstop and sideboards to make some of the harder to control clubs possible to keep on the green. I realize every course doesn't have a par 3 like that, but still something I hope they keep in mind going forward.
This is really interesting as now both players losing it doesn’t mean that both lose their perfect yardage club, more mixed 14 club challenges pleeeease
@@DanielFolsom Sure HALL OF FAMER ANNIKA SORENSTAM RETURNS TO COMPETE AGAINST THE MEN AT AMERICAN CENTURY CHAMPIONSHIP, JULY 9-11. she still plays a lot of golf just retired from the LPGA. She missed every single shot... but good point about her age, it was 147 yards.
I love these vids, but it would be great if you could get some good slow motion footage of the clubface for a few shots so we can see what they have to do with the shot to try to reach the green.
These "Challenges" are interesting, but I would much rather see two players play 2-3-4 holes in a One Club challenge - yes, they would all pick something similar, like a 5 or 6 iron, but it would better highlight their skills and creativity, and you could mix up the hole selections to try to make them make different club choices. Let's see Henrik hit a bunker shot with a 5-iron like Seve could.
I’d love to see more mixed golf events. When you take power out of the equation, female golfers are right up there with skill and touch and it would be great for women’s game and also hilarious bragging rights if some male golfers get out skilled by females lol very watchable IMHO
@@rickkap1614 She retired 13 years ago... 10 majors and 72 PGA wins vs 1 major and 6 wins. Regardless, her pathetic girl power swing would still embarrass you which I understand is probably rough on your misogynistic ego.
Been retired for a long time now so I doubt her swing is as finely tuned as it used to be but of course she was capable of hitting greens. As is often the case in competitions, not performing well is not the same thing as being incapable of performing well.
No disrespect to Annika, but the gender difference is really apparent here as Henrik can put a bit more power on higher lofted clubs and has the spin/club head speed/creativity to be a bit more creative on lower lofted shots. With women, a lot of them don’t hit many flighted/hard shots, they can just hit a normal shot and let it bounce. Still a good video though!
