if you're a gamer, just look for an amd cpu so you won't have to deal with the intel issues and marketing gimicks

At this moment, just buy a 14900k, overclock it 200mhz and you saved 100$

Just came to straight up say that NO! In no worlds the i9 is the best CPU for gaming. Ultra overkill and only 5% performance gain for 60% more price than the core i7.

Future proof? What are you talking about. 14th gen is the last gen on the same socket. 15th is getting new. Jebus man
