the state of mobile games is so sad, no one wants to pay yet everyone complains about the predatory f2p practices, and the big companies keep churning out the same boring AFK or match 3 bs, wish there was a more discerning marketplace
The mobile gamers complained about games priced more than $2 or being "tricked" by demos that usually have disclaimer in their game description. Meanwhile, the core gamers said why would they want to play ports on mobile or looking down on games designed around mobile. And then both demographics complained about the absolute shitty state that is mobile games market.
Oh yes, that's exactly why I highlight paid games here on the channel (and free games with non-predatory monetization). Also, my games discovery platform, MiniReview, exists purely to help people discover the ACTUAL good games that do release on mobile every month. There are so many great ones getting released - people just don't know about them. I highlight them over there :)
@@Silent.WatcherYep, that's pretty much it. But with that said, some genuinely good mobile games get released every month. They're just hard to find. Those are the games I try to highlight here on the channel + on Minireview.io :)
It is not like we don't wanna pay, we want to play paid games just like everyone else, but as a matter of sorrow, most of us either can't afford it or our parents won't allow
Damn, have to say, this is a really good list. When i see, "Unheard of Games" its usually not really unheard of but damn, i only knew one game from here, and that too was from a reddit post by the dev on indie games. Am definitely downloading more than a few games from here.
Dang, I'm so glad to hear that, mate! :) I'll keep looking for more games like these. So stay tuned for more. My next video will focus on brand new games. And then I'm also slowly working on my large "best games of the year tier list" video. It'll release around Christmas.
I just bought Retro Abyss and I love it... Always appreciate your suggestions! I got Bio Prototype, Juicy Realm, Leap Day, Super Mombo Quest, the Bug Butcher, Lichtspeer!, Ding Dong XL, and Exolotl: Zian when I went on a shopping spree and every one of them are very fun.
Just this list I needed. Few I'm hear I've never heard of for sure! I'm definitely happy to see 1 but survivor on here as I remember mentioning that in one of your videos when I played it. Such a good game. One of my favorite videos in a while. Loved it.
YES! It makes me so happy to hear that this was one of your favorites in a while, mate! :) Especially because the RU-vid analytics tell me the video has (so far) performed worse than most other recent videos. Here's to hoping it picks up pace
Ok, this is the part of the store I usually dwell in. But you managed to surprise me, my friend. 4 out of these 15 games I haven't seen before (I know about them only because they were previously highlighted on MiniReview). Definitely would love more lists with interesting indie games.
love all the new games, especially highlighting the ones that arent really well known or without a lot of downloads, im sure there definitely going to get a bump in players from you nimble !
Nice! I'm glad to hear the video topic was a good fit, mate :D And yeah, hopefully we can give these games a well-deserved increase in their playerbase :) Have the best of weekends, and stay awesome :D
Hi. Could anyone help me please? I am looking for two games, needs to be free and offline Android. I'd like a game like Bad2Bad apocalypse but with humans not weird animals... And I'd like a game like Anno or the old DOS civilization game, a game where I can build colonies and trade between them. Anyone has any ideas please?
Well, Slaughter: The Lost Outpost is the latest in the series, but I really wonder why it wasn't downloaded a lot like the first three, it's hands down the best one.
Yeah, it performed much better on the App Store though, according to the dev. As the video suggests, Play Stores has a penchant for drowning hidden gems into obscurity.
@@NimbleThorI saw Undergrave just a minute ago and also saw a gem named 'Red Ronin' (also made by the same dev of Undergrave) it reminded me of Katana ZERO has no downloads and might purchase it tomorrow HAHAHA😅😅
Because I was launching version 2.0 of my games discovery platform, MiniReview (minireview.io/). I had to spend some time dedicated to making sure the launch went well :) Now that things are getting back to normal, so are the videos. Next one will be about the best brand new games.
