Really? I was told that you got thorn from that quest. I never actually finished the quest before it got put in the dcv so I always just assumed that was how you got thorn.
Best pvp gun in the game right now is igneous hammer. The ideal roll you want smallbore, ricc rounds, fragile focus, precision instrument, stability MW and stability mod. With this setup you will have 100 range with fragile focus, you can 2 head 1 body with prec in which you can’t anymore without, and you get the max amount of stability you can have while also having 100 range. Which is 72 stability. With stability that high you won’t even have any need to adjust for recoil unless you fire 7 shots in a row. Only after 7 shots at 72 stability will it start catching its own reset to rest time. Pair that with a good burden of guilt and you’ll have the best pvp loadout in the game rn IMO. Only thing I recommend, which I do anyway but especially in this case, is to run holster mods. There’s literally nothing better to run on legs anyway.
Ideally you want keep away, actually. Fragile focus is nice, but Keep Away provides half the range of FF, 30 reload speed to help out with it since it’s often neglected, -5% growth to your accuracy cone, *and* helps you to figure out when someone is within 15 meters of you even if they’re invis.
I would love to see a description of each of the weapon sub-archetypes and maybe some decent pvp options for each of the weapon archetypes. I rarely see content breaking down pros and cons of entire weapon archetypes in pvp. Might be more geared towards beginner players but still i think it could be very valuable information to have as a resource. Just a thought.
i love my adaptive pulses, even the tiniest damage buff makes them 2-burst, my favorite one is syncopation, it has a great perk pool and i can pair it with bakris or athyrs embrace very nicely
alright, you forgot the two smgs that are slowly taking shayura's spot as top dog energy smg - Funnelweb and Calas mini tool. The consistency and long range reach with a killing wind+rangefinder roll on funnelweb should NOT be ignored. As for calus mini tool, moving target double dips into the lightweight frame for added movement and tap the trigger/eye of the storm for bonus accuracy. Also, if you wanna dip EVEN MORE into the movement, elemental capacitor with stasis titan on the funnelweb is unnaturally fast during gunfights.
It's legit broken, i thought it was 'adaptive' and was like what's the hype adaptives are just 'good'. Then i got one and saw it's 'lightweight' and different rpm and used it in PvP GOOD LORD....still not beating Drang which is arguably the best sidearm for PvP to ever exist but it's such a melter if you can take those extra steps to close in the 17m band it has.
- I really liked that you said "Weapon x" on the timestamps to not spoil them. - I was surprised that DMT didn't make it on here - I am baffled you didn't put thorn on here - Thanks for your awesome information!
Good list a gun i’d say belongs is rufus fury the gun absolutely slaps and if you run it with another raid weapon you get a handling boost one of my favorite guns
I’ve seen Banshee selling amazing roll true prophecy in the past few weeks. I got one with steadyhand hcs, tactical mag, opening shot, explosive payload and a handling mw and it’s so good. I also think it just generally feels crisp as hell. If you see a good roll on one of these from Banshee, trust me and buy it.
Thanks for covering hammerhead. Rampage for making a 4hs all resil is great. Very curious about rampage + high impact reserves. Killing tally of course is awesome
I tend to avoid PVP like it has HPV, but I am tired of having a bunch of catalyst quests in my log, so cranking them out. A video with tips on doing that would be great!
From the comments, seems like a part 2 is needed. Haven't seen Cloudstrike or Matador/Fractethyst (the only legendary options imo because precision frame) Also I've seen some talk about Austringer and Heliocentric.
Bro, you are not organizing the guns in "chronological order" because it means to organize them according to when they came out. Chrono means time. I think you mean that the list is not ranked by importance.
Great video man, I really can’t wait to see how LH feels with the different perks! I will say though, at the end of the day the game is mostly about personal preference and input device (kinda) but putting midnight coup over austringer had me curious about why you prefer it
I actually prefer austringer. just user preference. I feel the super high aim assist makes midnight very strong and along with it having explosive pay load.
9:32 uh yeah I can't believe it took them almost a DECADE to bring back the Stranger's rifle you know AFTER you finish the MAIN STORY IN Destiny 1 when Elise the EXO STRNAGER GAVE IT TO YOU!
absolutely shameful you did not talk about these two pure menace pvp guns: heliocentric sidearm with heal clip + kill clip, relentless with keep away + headseeker
And yet we’ll still see people crying on the Destiny forums and subreddit that Handcannons are “meh” fucking wild to me that people don’t understand that 80% of the best PvP options are all HC’s…
the zoom on then makes them a lot harder to use a closer range. (other than dmt). 120 handcannons just feel a lot better with lower Zoom and better handling. Plus, the 120 hanfcannons have HUGE hit boxes where the 120 scouts are not as big.
Both smg's and target lock got nerfed. It and other smgs are still very good. Just not op. personally, unless I'm playing a pk Titan I will not be using most smg's right now.
Especially for me Midnight is a mediocre gun, which I would say has bad stats. Also in this month I fell in love in 180s and in PvP Optative, Frontier's Cry, Posterity extremely good.
Compared to what he mention those weapons are alright minus thorn which could replace ace of spades but austringer is super mid compared to just about every other 140 out there now.
@@daquancurry7805 matador and found verdict are the only 2 options for energy shotguns anything else is a reach so putting the number 1 options behind ✨ hung jury is a stretch, and Austringer is one of if not the best dueling hc with eos/zen moment, with 70+range(which is where most hcs fall) and upwards of 70+ stability most cap out at 50-65. So saying it’s mid is a reach bud
