Ruin and Rising is actually the best book in the series and I think a lot of people do agree with that opinion. You can really see Bardugo's growth as a writer through this series
Girl, I felt the exact same way about Red Rising. I even tried audio and I still couldn’t wrap my brain around it. I’m so glad it’s a well-loved series by a ton of people, but it’s not for me.
Half a soul is such a nice read. You should read the 2nd one, Ten thousand stitches, it's at least as good as the 1st one! (Then the 3rd one I didn't really like personally.) There are also other stories in between, and a prequel, but I haven't read them yet

Sometimes i feel like I push myself to like books that others like but i have to stop doing that 😂 i know beach read is very popular but for me it was a 2 star. I can't wait to read funny story though 💙 I haven't read anything by Ali Hazelwood yet, i was eyeing bride at the bookstore yesterday but i didn't end up getting it, I'm unsure 😅 great video ❤
Omg! I had just finished Half A Soul and rated 4.25. Funny Story is one of my 5 top reads this year. I am still struggling through Beach Read. I also enjoyed The Bodyguard, probably a little more than you. I have tried to read Red Rising several times. I am starting to think it’s just not my jam🤷🏻♀️
