I loved this video! So much confusion! What even is most of that stuff? The only thing that I CAN explain is the “You’ve been boo’d” bags. Families (kids) will leave a bag of treats on your door then you have to pass on the favor to another house. This generally happens in the suburbs on a neighborhood block and the bag of treats is accompanied by a note to explain the process in appropriately spooky language. I was perplexed when we got boo’d when we first moved into our current home - there weren’t many kids on our last block. Our new block was family central. So there - one less fall mystery.

It's funny because now that you've mentioned the whole crazy family-themed decor, it made me think of mine. My family just so happens to be that close-knit, "picture perfect," as you would call it...?... Well, we're as close as a close family can be, yet, now that I think about it, not one of us has that "family-themed" home decor or anything that screams, "LOVE FAMILY" 😅... So weird... I wonder why...

@@joannaborns It gets worse and worse every year. 10, 15 years ago, it was the middleish of Sep, then beginning of Sep, the should say screw it and sell all things, all year round.... Cause that's where it's headed.

I like fall, the only thing I don't like about it is the reminder of what's to come. Also, the Walmart where I work already had fall themed clothes in freaking July...I wanted to OTL on the floor screaming "NOOOOOOOO"😂

I'm into fall & Halloween is my favorite holiday. That said it was 90+ degrees outside I went for gerocery stuff @ walmart and saw Halloween stuff in PA.Thats ridiculous!

I'm so glad someone mentioned the bossy decor, especially for Thanksgiving. It always feels like weirdly religious/weirdly stepford wifey/weirdly I was the inspiration for a criminal minds cult unsub/all of the above

oh and also- i can explain the you’ve been booed thing! at least where i live, it’s common for neighborhood families to “boo” each other. basically you ring the doorbell late at night and leave a bucket filled with candy and halloween filled decor on someone’s doorstep, and then they do it to someone else. it’s super cute tbh and i always loved it as a kid
