I’ve watched the episode multiple times, but it wasn’t until this video where I finally realized Lt. Nolan’s helmet is very reminiscent of the 501st cold assault trooper helmet from season 1 of the clone wars
@OutOfIdeas9977 Cosmos, Nub, Knuckles, Glitch, Stance, and Blackout are the ones i can think of from the top of my head, but there are tons of named ones forgotten to time
Commander Thorn= final stand Tech= never should have died Hardcase= protecting and destroying 99= disfigured but still a soldier in heart Waxer: Took care of a child Heavy= died to protect his homeworld Fives: could have stopped everything
Let's be honest: until we see the body, tech's not dead. If Echo didn't die at the citadel and Gregor didn't die in that first explosion, you can't count Tech as being dead from something as minor as a fall. Until we see the body, I'm counting him as alive.
Clone survival guide: 1. Dont have a Z6 Rotary Cannon as main weapon; 2. Don't try to blow up important station by yourself; 3. Don't join the 501st or 212th; 4. Don't be a major character; 5. Dont shoot at jedi with lightsabers turned on; 6. Just leave the army; 7. If u haven't left the GAR leave the Empire for ur own good; 8. Just don't get shot or smtng idk;
To me, Fives' death is the most honorable and saddest. He tried to warn the Jedi and his fellow clone troopers about the inhibitor chips and Order 66 but failed because of Palpatine, Dooku, and Kaminoans. R.I.P. CT-5555 ("Fives"). You served the Galactic Republic well. May the Force be with you!😢😔
I think Fives' death was the most honorable because he was just on the verge of exposing Order 66 when stupid (but cool looking) Commander Fox shot him when he should have just stunned him.
The Umbara scene always gets to me. Both this scene and Fives' death are so well made that they make your heart wrench. Thanks Red Five for puting together this awesome vid. You pump out constant videos without losing quality. In fact, your quality just keeps going up. Can't wait for the next video!
Captain Rex: "All of those men died, and for what?!" I agree with Captain Rex. It's sad what happened to the Clones. They were basically used as pawns by the Sith and others
In SWGAOH, I unlocked the Bad Batch, and I love using Tech. Finding out that he sacrificed himself for the group, wrecked me to see him not be with us no longer
I love 99 and of course, RIP but (hot take) his heroic death was kinda pointless as he just ran into the open and got killed. They didn't need the additional grenades to beat the droids. His death honestly could've been more guttural if they made it more meaningful or actually turned the tide of a battle.
Tech's death was by far the hardest hitting and least expected death for me, closely followed by Fives. Two of the bravest clone troopers to bless our screens.
For me I wish sev actually survived the attack and actually secretly started the rebellion whiff other clones why secretly well if I was to manage the bad batch during season 2 where sev meet the bad batch during one of there missions and was the one who took down scorch and they both removed there helmets for there goodbyes.
Techs death was the saddest for me, but I haven’t finished CW yet (yes I watched them out of order I know I know) so that might change when I finish it, I don’t really think so though. I got really really really attached to all of the bad batch mainly because we really get to know them in TBB, whereas in TCW we do see their personalities and all that, but not as much as in TBB where we get a closer look at their lives both on and off the battlefield.
Waxer was one of only two clones to cry on screen. A single tear can be seen on his face before his death. The second time clone cries was Commander Rex during Order 66 while trying to escape with Ahsoka.
One trooper I’m curious about- Echo. Regular trooper. Found later as cyborg. Joined Bad Batch. Was with them when Republic fell. Left to join Rex and help free Clone Troopers. Came back to help the Batch. He was still helping Clone troopers at the end of Bad Batch. Rex, Gregor and Wolf were all on Rebels. Echo was not with them. No idea what happened to him. And note - Wolf was working for the Empire. Season 3 of Bad Batch. His friendship/bond with Rex was what allowed the Batch/Rex to escape. Hope we get to see or hear what happened to Wolf to make him leave the Empire.
Watch Fives' death and look at the CG troopers circling him and try to find Commander Fox. If youre too lazy, he wasnt there. Also, R.I.P. all the clone soldiers who we loved that died
Sev, you will be missed by everyone. The banter you had with Scorch and the rest of the squad was unique. Without you, the GAR would have never been able to land on Kashyyk.
Tech didn't died. He would be saved by a group of rebellions and lost memory temporarily. When Omega grows older and joins the rebellion. He will meet Tech eventually
For the longest while I thought tech would come back as a cyborg or something because star wars and comic logic being if ya don't see the dead body they not dead. Now could tech survive a fall from that height who knows it is star wars. Everyone thought maul died in phantom menace only to come back as a cyborg.
It doesn’t matter which was saddest or which was tthe most honorable they were all sad and honorable I would give anything to meet head brave selfless and amazing soldiers I hope they rest in peace
I'm surprised that he didn't add Scorch's death. He didn't die a hero, but I think that that's what makes his death the saddest. The comic relief of the squad was the last to die and with no smile on his face.
