Fantastic video. Anglers mentality is really something special. I got a massive pike next to the boat once. Biggest pike I ever saw. Got it next to the boat for a good look at it. Unfortunately it got free but both my kids were in the boat and the youngest started screaming 'Daddy's caught a crockodile' hahahaha Great times Ill never forget.

Well done Terry bet it was worth the wait! I’m in a similar boat as I caught a 27lb 8oz pike in 1977 but can’t get another “twenty” had loads in the 16-19 lb range and netted big fish for others but can’t hit that magic weight. One day maybe. Tight Lines
