Batman originates all the way back to 1939 where he was first introduced in Detective Comics. Since then, he has grown to become one if not the most famous of superheroes of all time. Batman made it from the comic book pages and onto the TV screen in the 1960s when the Batman TV series first aired starring Adam West as Batman/Bruce Wayne.
Both Batman and his companion Robin were two crime fighters there to defend Gotham City, their mode of transport was the Batmobile. This detailed Scalextric slot car of the 1960s Batmobile captures the shape of this iconic car and offers Batman fans from around the globe the opportunity to take Batman to the track. This car comes complete with a detailed Batman figure in the driver's seat.

I watched your video on RU-vid and I thought you were fantastic wonderful personality pleasure watching you The information that you gave regarding the Batmobile was very enjoyable I happened to love that car I've been watching Batman since 1966. So good to see you back on hte screen again and love the old Batmobile. I had the rocket firing model and the smaller standard Corgi, come to think of it I still have it somewhere?

Well I never. I didn't know that Scalextric had made a Batmobile. I did have the Corgi car though. In fact seeing your superb example with it's three firing rockets, triggered a memory of my grandad suggesting that because I had lost all the plastic 'rockets'... we fire matches instead! You can imagine the rest! 😱🦇 Nicely done 🏆

It’s brand new this year and had just arrived at the shop, I’d tried to make this video work during lockdown but it didn’t come together until I got my hands on the scaextric one ! It’s £53.99 from scalextric now, it was cheaper at the time of filming, but costs have gone up (so they say 😂😂) I don’t have any stock at the moment. But will do later on in the year. ....I've always loved that beautiful car - and the original Batman film and series - the modern remakes of the Batman films are awful though....didn't the producers realise the originals had a comedy element to them ?! There was a portable gas heater at work last winter - which I thought would make a great flame effect if it was incorporated into the back of a replica ?!
