This song is always going to be a reminder of a love that I will never outgrow. Listening to this takes me back in time - the butterflies in my stomach when we met, the first kiss and a million that followed after, the way she laughed, how happy making her laugh made me feel, and all the special dates we went on that are forever etched in my memory - all encapsulated along with the feelings of the heartbreak that comes with accepting that we may not be it, that there may be a future both of us have always envisioned which does not align. While listening to this song i can't stop to imagined that their story is really complicated for me because i felt that the girl has amnesia reason why both of them are really hoping that they still find a way back their story in the end. This song is said to be about Taylor and her song Cardigan is said to be about Matty and in both songs they mention a train 😮 Their relationship lore runs deeper than I thought. People are now saying Fortnight is about Matty too. I’m just wondering what Travis thinks about the songs on TTPD
