One day as I was walking home from an after school activity and I was just listening to this song. Thinking about everything from old crushes, friends who moved away, dead relatives, ex's you name it. To get to my house i have to walk across a bridge. I will never forget the moment when I was in the exact middle of it and the last chorus hit. And I just looked over at the river that flows underneath it at sunset. The feeling was neither sadness nor happiness. It was a feeling that hasn't been given a name. But whatever it was I felt it. And damn was it beautiful.

I'm not sure how to put in into words. This song made me cry for years. When I got drunk this was the song I'd play thinking about him. I love everything about it It's a few years later and I am PERFECTLY HAPPY! He went his way, I went mine. We're in great terms now and this song will always remind me of him but it's definitely not heartbreaking...but I enjoy the feeling, the sadness it reminds me of...it sounds like I'm crazy but I've never identified so much with a song like I did with this one.

depression sucks but there's one good thing about it. it doesn't even bother me that i have to break up with my bf. he was so good to me THE FIRST WEEK and then he just disappeared. i know he's texting other girls bc he even tried on my friends but this never even felt like a relationship so that's probably why the break up won't feel like a break up. but yeah the thing about depression is that i'm already numb, i'm already dead inside, i'm already missing a lot of pieces and i also knew this was coming. it's just hard to believe that he's a fuckboy when he literally got me through my depression until i could get professional help. like, there was no one at all and i was aout to loose my bff, but HE was there. he called me every night to make sure i wasn't up crying in my bathroom. he made me talk about all the things i could never have talked about and he told me things about him that meant something to him too. but now he's always telling me how he was talking to a girl bc she was sad and then she wanted more but off course he said no bc he had me like wtf? do you want a medal? you are showing me that you're saying no to all your options? that's literally the bare minimum to do. i hate him so much but he just doesn't know. he really can't see that this is not how a relationship works? and i keep holding on to the old him but ig that's what he does to all girls. but how do you show you're anger without feeling ridiculous when he wouldn't even get what the problem is and when i'd break up with him he'd be surprised but literally wouldn't care. i can't tell him how much he broke my heart because there was literally nothing but sadness in the first place, but i can't just have a friendly convasation with him cuz i'm still mad and hurt, and he doesn't even know that. it's just fucked up weird
