Love it, as always. I'm glad you pointed out the NES wasn't as huge in the UK. I had a Sega Master System and they were more popular here than in the US. Also, please show the viewers' photos on the screen a little longer, I had to pause to get a proper look.

If I remember rightly the Transformer figures came first with just their story on the back of the box, then they became huge and all the cartoon and everything else came afterwards and the rest is history. Good Times 😊
I had a hand me down NES from my brother. I got his NES when he got a SNES. I got rid of it several years later but around 2000 I picked up another one second hand which is still up my loft to this day.
Another great episode guys. Thanks for the upload. Love looking back at the toys I never got!!! 😀 However I loved my Sega Master System. Would love you to do a Christmas Singles episode.
Funny thing about cabbage patch...didn't own a real one but a friend of our family made me one of Herschel Walker. I dressed him with baby bulldog clothes of his jersey, shoes etc....wish I still had it. I also live 30-40 minutes from babyland general and pass it on way to Helen but never been. When I was around 7-8 "santa" gave me one year a Farrah Fawcett Barbie and a Dorothy Hamill Barbie....if only I knew then what I know now.
When I got my amstrad I'd opened my presents thought that I was done and my mam and dad hid it at the far end of the sofa and brought it out from underneath a sheet I was so flabbergasted xx
Ringo did an entire Christmas album in 1999 called "I Want to Be Santa Claus". George didn't do a Christmas song but he did "Ding Dong, Ding Dong" in 1974 which was intended as a New Year singalong.
A NES for 85? I’ve never even seen one. Why don’t you do a UK list? The Mirror and The Sun are running stories on Agros releasing a list of their biggest selling toys of the last 40 years in the UK. Might be worth a look for next week.
Wanting to start to collect something? - Start collecting coins, only hobby were you can have loads of money but be broke at the same time. I am sure that I didn't get my NES until 1990
