As long as he lived, they gave him hell on earth. After he died, they praised him. This is what hypocrite people are good at. For the fans who loved him he represented: inspiration, freedom and goodness. There will never be another Michael Jackson! I'm thankful that I had the honor to grow up with his music!❤
He brought on all the press intrusion himself by planting weird stuff in the press himself. No one cared about his music after Thriller as they are terrible they only cared about his weirdness. He sold his sold
It was really tough to be a loyal fan of Michael growing up throughout the 90’s…I was picked on relentlessly, but I stood my ground. Some of his best work was really this made decade, and I still stand by my support and love for him, his music, his vision, and his humanitarianism. Also obligatory mention of Michael’s buckled strapped boots from Bad and Speed Demon inspiring the design of SEGA’s very own Sonic the Hedgehog’s shoes. Also of course, I can’t forget to mention his involvement with the music for Sonic 3.
@@Snyper1405 Easy way to stay sane, in a world where insanity runs ramped. BIBLE STUDY. 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
I can only imagine the pain his kids must feel, having had the most amazing human as their father, and then to loose him... I will always feel for them.
The 90s was a very turbulent chapter in his life😢 ”In our darkest hour In my deepest despair Will you still care Will you be there” And yes Michael, we will always be there👑🥰👑
@Alisson Costa no, he slowed down by 1995, though his album are still selling, women were dominating, he wasn't really used to controversies like Prince or Madonna which the latter was able to keep up to be considered as still as more successful in the 90s than Michael but that doesn't change the fact Michael is still a best sellinga rtist.
They wanted Michael to fail so bad they stabbed and butchered his thrown. But the King still stands strong! This video was an emotional rollercoaster ……….. I’m glad I know and LOVE Michael Jackson.
The more I look at MJ's face the more I realize that between 1987-1999 he looked pretty much the same besides the makeup and hairstyles which made him look different but he really wasn't. Weight loss and gain also plays a big role. The 90s was truly a decade of ups and downs for him. Mixed feelings.
Rest in perfect peace Michael Jackson, the world miss you most. We love you most. I wish you are still here in the land of the living with us. There can never be any one like you. You are totally irreplaceable.
I was accused of a serious crime, not as serious as what Michael went through and I suffered horrible depression and not wanting to eat and it killed me inside.. I couldn't fathom what MJ was going through especially being that famous and how horrible his changes were.. Just like his charges, I was found not guilty and it made me very hard to trust anyone so I know somewhat this man went through.. I also battled through opiate addiction and beat that so I know how difficult it is to get sobered up and yes you're addicted to the drugs rather you abuse them or not!
Damn, i barely clicked it and I'm already scared of even watching this. During the 90s he went through some of his worst moments, the media just couldn't stop trying to destroy him
In Europe he was still massive, in the United States, however he did fall off. His single "Jam" didn't chart in the Top 25, none of his singles past 1995 cracked the Top 40.
This is a compilation of bullying, and slandering. This pisses me off🤬 So hurtful to see people attack him like this. I am so hurt. This truly brought tears to my eyes.
The media in the US destroyed him, Americans consume too much their media on the contrary of the rest of the world, they embraced him and loved him despite of all the bad things the media said about him
"Stranger in Moscow didn't chart inside the Top 80 on the Pop Charts, "Blood on the Dance Floor" didn't chart at all on the Pop Charts. He was still super famous in the United States, but he wasn't musically relevant.
@@blacknetsmedthe same songs your talking about were on the same album as scream, they don’t care about us,You are not alone and Earth which all hit number 1 globally and in America and scream even won a Grammy he was still relevant musically.
Could u image how much it touched Michael's heart when the priest at the funeral when he said "he allowed us to see the boy, who just wanted more than anything else to be like other children"
Truly. I'm actually revisiting his life story and it's helping me heal from my own childhood trauma, to see the pain this man endured, along with the strength and resilience he channelled to deal with it all. It makes my problems look utterly miniscule in comparison. He relied on a higher power. I am learning.
The 90's sucked for him man...like he accomplished a lot, but damn that's when the hating started. Yes I'm calling it HATING..and not controversy. He got hated on...terribly. Kindof crazy how loud haters are. He had a lot of love, but the haters is who he heard most it seems. This is the MJ I grew up with, I was born in 88...wasn't until I got to my teens did I really start understanding his story, and by the time I was in my early 20's, he had passed.
The 1993 super bowl was when the halftime show became a big deal. Michael Jackson is the one who made that happen. That's when it went from just a regular halftime show to the big event that it is now.
I don't know why the critics hate remember the time so much. It is honestly one of his better videos and still one of my favorite songs by him. I like it more than bad or beat it
I think because it leaned closer to "Black music" R&B sound and had an all Black cast in his video (remember his OTW album was notably ignored at the Grammys in the popular categories because it was "Black music"). Those critics from White media rarely gave glaring reviews of R&B (especially in the 90s) until they had to jump on board when Rap music dominated the scene and became a trillion dollar industry. So as a Black American growing up in the 90s, we never paid attention to what those critics determined was good music.....Never....hence why R&B and Hip Hop/Rap constantly changed and evolved because Black culture determined what was hot, not those critics....R&B, this new jack Sound birthed K-PoP.........
I Truly Missed him he didn't Deserve to die. It's so SAD that he's gone I missed him DEARLY. the media Ain't shit they the treated like he was crazy OPRAH AIN'T SHIT SHE IS a Back STABBER. MJ we fans MISSED You very very much Music will never be the same without You 😢❤RIPARIDISE!!!
I think we can agree as individuals that the early 1990s was Michael's hottest look. EDIT Yall his jam music video look, who is it look and black or white look, as well as his oslo, Bucharest, Wembley and London looks were the hottest. Sit down 🙄🤚
This takes me back to my childhood when Ryan White was living with AIDS and MJ supported him to the end. Michael Jackson made our lives so much better. A black man in America during those times was extremely difficult and to see him being the most beloved man in the world is such a big deal❤
Omg seeing him with Ryan Whites mom broke me - for a man who hated being touched especially by adult women he had no problem open his arms and embracing her like a loving friend. God his legacy and heart are unmatched even to this day. I always think what it'd be like if he were still here cause u know he'd be ruling Tik tok right about now!
Can you Imagine working working day and night like Michael singing since he was 5? and he made it to the top to this day. I watched this video with the tears in my eyes.Editing is beyond great, I love this channel because there is a community here and who love Micheal.Cheers to all moonwalkers❤ I look forward for the next video 👋
Oh my gosh. This drama about black or white makes me so ashamed of peoples behavior. Dangerous is an amazing album and one of my favorite albums of all time.
I always get sad seeing MJs decline in the 90s due to the suffering he went through. It started off incredible in those first 90s years. To this day I can never know if he was guilty of any wrong doings 100% I wasn’t there to witness and he said once in an interview to never fully believe or judge a person till you’ve met them so my mind has to stay open in that sense as a child in my family suffered from sexual abuse. However my heart believes he didn’t do any wrong doings so that’s what I go with. I believe he was just misunderstood as a person who wanted to do good. A nice takeaway & watching this for the next 2 hours+ is my night complete. Best entertainer ever! Always look forward to new videos. Iv watched every single one multiple times 😂👍
Casey Falconer: Do believe in the total innocence of Michael Jackson ! There are so many documentations, evidences , witnesses, telling he was the target for money, he was too powerful with his songs about racism and social problems, world distruction etc , telling the truth about unfair musics industry , in few words he was influencing people , he was worldwide loved and the ELITES had to stop him.
@@kikka7391 I have watched so many documentaries. I agree with your view on elites who dictate our society and figures who dictate the music industry etc plus people looking to extort for money which is why I believe he was innocent. I’m just saying I can never be 100% sure. Only few people do. It’s my belief in MJ and the way I view him without ever being able to know for definite that makes him innocent in my mind.
quite funny how Brazilian press had so much positive things to say when he came to shoot the video and it's even more well remembered nowadays, practically 30 years later. But I guess these American headlines were just Americans being ignorant
Guys, let's talk about the good things that happen in the 2000s yeah? It wasn't all awful. Bigi arrived, the 30th anniversary special... Michael announcing This Is It?
MJ had such a pure and sincere heart for all these children, you can tell he loved kids and helping them and founded Heal The world. He went out of his way to visit orphanages and hospitals and make donations every country he toured, I can’t think of one celebrity these days who would do that. He is sweet and respectful. He provided positivity and love to this world. But the media and tabloids gave him hell he didn’t deserve any of that, if anything he deserved to be the happiest person on Earth!
This is too much, michael is so strong i can imagine him cryin everytime, the media did him dirty and dang also latoya, i hate her so much for that. Imissyousomuch mj it's so sad that you didn't see the people who's loving you your health problems and sadness eats you😔😢 BUT YOU ARE SO STRONG IF I WAS YOU I GONNA HANG MYSELF FR
Watching this back so many years later, there are so many cringe-worthy moments. Moments. I can't believe the way people just openly talked about his sex life. Can you imagine talking about celebrities getting married and actually asking if they've consummated the marriage like you're discussing something as casual as what you may have had for breakfast? Or having an issue with the way he is shooting a video like It means that he thinks he's actually liberating a country when it's just an expression of what he's singing about? I forgotten how stupid people were over this man. I wouldn't blame him if he had faked his death and just disappeared. I'm not saying I think he did. I'm just simply saying I wouldn't blame him in the slightest
Michael Jackson wanted more than anything for his fans around the world🌍to see him during this terrible time in his life🌹his fans were like his glue🌹and he really needed to feel there love🧩there love kept MJ going🎤🎼
As much as I love the Victory and Bad eras, I think Dangerous and HIStory are my favorites. 90s Michael had that extra rough and aggressiveness to his vocals, and I'm a huge sucker for that type of vocals. But I also understand that this was a rough decade for him, and the 2000s were even worse for him.
The start of the end for Jackson, crazy to think that the handsome, charismatic young black man that made us fall in love with him in the early-mid 80s with thriller, ended up like this.
For one this comment disregards the Jackson 5 and Off the Wall but on the other end disregards the massive success that was his last 3 albums and eras even with the controversy. I think if you focus on his health he definitely fell off a cliff in the 1990s but that honestly started in the 70s.
@@samiam2003 The controversy started years earlier, MJ was already getting slammed in the media because of his plastic surgeries and the change in his skin color. It was because he was suffering from a skin condition, but he didn't say anything about it until 93.
I am no longer a huge Michael Jackson fan, but I really do appreciate your uploads, and the time and effort that goes into them. This brought me back to a time of my life where MJ was the biggest thing in the world. To do that is an achievement!
Hi Freshy009 🥀I just saw 🪚🪚 a comment that you made about 1 year ago on Michael Jackson🥀🌺🥀🌺🥀🌺🥀🌺🥀you had said that you use to be a huge MJ fan🥀however know no longer 🥀 as a fan I was just wondering what happened my friend ❤
Something happened to him personally in 1999. I mean, 1993 was bad enough, but you can see him wasting away very quickly in 1999 and the all "Prince is sick" headlines are weird
Michael’s look in 1991 was by far the best of his entire career but unfortunately it was his most short lived. By 1993 he had totally changed again into his full 90s look.
Michael's most successful [Dangerous and History's success along with the birth of Prince and Paris] and most stressful [1993 allegations and the divorces of Lisa and Debbie]
