I'm from North Sudan but I pressed like for this video cuz of dr John and the map drawing on ground.. this guy worked hard for his nation... South Sudanese are our brothers from another mother for real ...
Thanks for sharing this video.... It's good to be reminded of how far you struggled to be where you are. I'm a proud South Sudanese and may the souls of our forefathers and sisters, brothers and everyone who lost their precious lives in the struggle. South Sudan oyee!
I remembered the pain that was caused to us when we tried to capture the town of Kapoeta 10.1.1995 and the one that was speaking is James Hoth Mai and followed by the C-in-C. He was cautioning the gallant forces of the SPLA to be aware of the environment of Kapeota of what is here and there in the sand model. The great leader has now gave the clear orders to his men for implementation.
My father was among this offensive of SPLA and I recognized him, he was next to the speaker who is narrating the plans... these are people who are supposed to be honor in their absentia through libration... R.I.P CDES
It is shame that South Sudanese turned guns against one another. While they got a nation rich in oil. All I can say is that you can be the most richest and most advanced country in Africa only of you lay down your guns and start developing your country. Democracy is the way foreward, dicatorship and corruption will make the nation go backward and eventually suck it into civil war. Wish you all the best brothers.
All provoked by John Garang for carrying the movement in his suit cases whenever he travelled abroad and overseas and no one knew about the resources of the movement and then favoring some commanders like Kuol Manyang (His cousin) when other top commanders demanded his demotion for committing atrocities that he could not account for but simply for his tribalism and hate killed a lot of people. This led to the defection of William Nyuon, followed by Riak Machar and the rest. I was 14 years old when SPLM/A started to crumble. John Garang is a culprit in the war. I respect Commander Issac Mabuto Mammur.
The Sudanese people are not an enemy of the state of South Sudan. Evidence of that is the real war after separation. The war did not stop in the south of the real enemy, the Americans.
@@abdalmahmoudeissa5237 , you're just a dumb person. The root cause of Sudan separation was the muslim Sudanese self-proclaimed arabs who were oppressing the minorities in the country. Just keep quiet if don't know what to say.
Our 13th anniversary of our beautiful land South Sudan🇸🇸 is coming up soon. Thank you to our fallen heroes and civilians who have lost their lives in our long struggle🙏🙏❤️❤️
I can recognize my uncle, Juach Nathan read the map at minutes 27:24 to minutes 30:35. He was a very young man then. So sad that now the nation they liberated has shunned them. South Sudan is still not free until such heroes are well compensated!
What a great loss! I see Bung Ajoh Majok Mach presenting such a coherent plan. He was certainly light-years ahead of his peers. He could anticipate what the enemy would do and present a viable counter plan and surviveability. We lost a great officer.
The brave Hoyai Deng Ajak is to be mentioned here if we ant to talk of who were there those days. Any viewer can see hime there. He was one of the top fighters and patriotic those times. he can even take a big share if S.S. is divided according to how and many wonderful fights one conducted among others despite what happenned despite the resent division.
I mean where they can watch from especially on independence days and martyrs day,we should know where we came from.....it's so hurting that until of recent,we suffer this fate
These were true heros may many of them rest in peace . But now we have only thieves remaining in the SPLM/A, putting money and power ahead instead of people they liberated
It was a momentous night although we lost the battle based on poor operational tactics. I have to pay my ultimate respect to my fellow colleagues who died on the line of national duty of liberation struggle.
@@omeralmur7271 ask yourself do northerners even see southerners as their “family”. South Sudan was liberated by those who had enough of facing racism and marginalization from its OWN government in Khartoum
During the time of war in Sudan it real very tragedy so many lives were lost as the South Sudanese under its gallen forces wages war against the oppressor in Khartoum yes its the struggle that made us where we are now today now our pains are over because of the rewords
The forgotten heroes of South Sudan. My heart breaks when I watch this. Their families the most forgotten, the poorest and most neglected right now!😭😭😭😭. It's as if south Sudan is a cursed country. God help south sudan
No, Late Bukajoh who did not survived offensive was the third speaker. The officer with gaped teeth is Gen. James Hoth Mai, the current Ministry of Labour of the Republic of South Sudan in case you didn't know
The problem these people were fighting their brothers in the government because Arabs were using students who finished secondary schools to fight before they are graduating. Also South Sudanese who were with government were the ones fighting. Arabs never accepted their sons to go to war😢. John did good by making peace
Same to me here that was the time I lose my dad ....I was in my mum worm wen he died now ,am 22 I never see my dad or talk to him I which both of our champion of south Sudan may there soup rest in peace including my baba
this video reminded me nubamountains 1993 spla soldier slaughtered the people In nuba when they try To escape out nubamountains we have been killed for both side from khartoum soldier and spla soldier
I hope Salva Kiir can look back and remember when SPLA/M was once abandoned but the people who making decisions and influencing him today. It is an insult to promote Tut Gatluak n Stephen Dhieu to the rank of Lt Gen.
