Damn man, this video is fucking history!

WOW, the house is amazing! There's so much space in it too.

wow i can't believe i still have this game,it was cool how you could control your sim and not command them to do things like on the pc but again such things had to come at a price and the meter for placing items just messed it up,then i switched over to the pc version,and i loved it! it's good to see good old games like this.

@ZeldaOoTMasterQuest On PS2 versions, yes. It's limited by memory space, so once you build too many objects it won't let you build more.. and some of your items will randomly catch fire to reduce the number.

Cyclone TV. Its a box you plug into the computer and into the box you plug the PS2. It uses your monitor as the TV screen and can take screenshots or record whatever you put through it.

Oh. I didn't film this with a Video Camera. I plugged my PS2 into my laptop and played it through the software program Cyclone TV (which acts like TV screen) and recorded it through that.

'Stealing' a house? Odd concept.. I have The Sims 2 on computer now - a total blast. I love roof-top gardens :D Making new houses in interesting patterns is a lot of fun.. I can't imagine ever copying a pre-existing design.. :S I wish I knew how to take a shot of my stuff on Sims 2, then I could showcase it. :P Thanks for the comment. I only posted it to show a friend, so I was suprised to get people remaking on it. I appreciate the time you took. :)

As far as I'm aware, the same place you'd normally buy PS2/PC games. Your local Department store, DVD store, EB, JB-HIFI.. etc..

You've got a few options. Personally, I went out and bought a Cyclone TV box. I forget what model it was... basically, you plug your PS2 into it and then IT into your computer via a USB. DEPENDING ON WHAT MODEL YOU GET, you can also have an option to record whatever the input is.. so you can just hit record and then play your game like normal. No watermarks, no limitations. The newer models tend to record in better quality though.. mines a bit dated.

They're just normal 'airlock' doors. It was such a long time ago.. As far as I can recall, I just found them under 'doors' like normal. (Probably an unlockable)

just go to your local computer store and ask for it. They have better versions out by now. If you want one that plugs in via USB and isn't installed directly, you'll need to stress the fact. For some reason, every computer salesperson I've mentioned it to seems to have trouble grasping the fact that you can get it internally or externally.

Sure is. Fire Code, you know. All those windows ate up my allowance.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'pass the game'. It would depend on how you define passing, be it having your sims each achieve everything in all careers, or have your sims with maximum friendship with every other sim...

No. The PS2 has serious limits on how much it can handle. Thats why items start catching fire if you put too many down. You can on the PC version of SIms 2, however. I had 4 stories in that one.

(Chuckles) It's not mean. (Shrugs) I didn't mean to have her cheekbones look like weapons.. it just kinda happened..

This song sounds familiar, i watch Kyle XY all the time(my fav) i think they had this song on in one of the episodes. But not in Sim language =)

i love building houses on the sims 2 i've been doing that for years.. and i don't copy of others.. by the way.. the game aren't fun with cheats.. you shoud try to make a house with 20.000 $ or less and then work.. that's the point living a real life :D if you don't have copy this house or the idea.. i gotta say it was pretty cool :)

omg i did a house like that, it was square and the garden was in the middle and it had a fence looking onto the road in the middle of the house, and on each corner was rooms, it was hard to get to the phone LOL

Yeah, I've heard that's a possibility. Something about atmosphere leaks or something? (It's meant to be like an airlock door) It's never happened in my game. I don't know if that's just a fluke or if it responds to the type of house or windows you have.. but yeah. Never killed my Sim.

(Laughs) Which is too bad. If the PS2 didn't have such strict limits, I could have wasted a few more..

my friend and I filled up our house, and we put in a moomoo carpet (idk waht its called and so we call it that) and it set on fire just because we apparently had to many things in our house!!!! We got sooo pissed, and we bought three tvs, so that might've been a problem. XD

Why use wall lights when you can use floor lights? :D I'm not sure what you mean by 'way to get into the house', but my use of lights and.. well, everything but windows, basically... was severely restricted by the PS2 Fire Code

If you're using PS2? Nothing you can do about it. Buy the PC version, you can turn off the Fire Code in that.

I never expected anyone else to even look at it, much less comment. Ah and I see you're plugging yourself too.. As addressed in other comments, the house is bare because of the Fire Code. The PS2 version can't have that unlocked, you know.. and all those windows just ate up the allowance.

No, no cheats. If I COULD, I'd have used the anti-fire code one, but the PS2 can't do that... :S

They just part of the door-selection in PS2's The Sims 2. Nothing special.

poeple to get money and shit just use cheats but to enter get the code for cheat gnome goto start goto relasionships then enter code walk up to the gnome and press x then seelect the cheat or cheats you want
