Appreciate you Sean!! And I’m glad I could pass some motivation on! Good luck on that MCAT studying bro! That’s a beast of an exam but I’m sure you’re going to crush it 💪🏽
Those are great tips/advice for the first year of medical school. I am sorry to hear about your medical problem(s). But, I am glad to see you posting videos again on your channel. Much continued success on your path to becoming a doctor.
"Sometimes you can't choose what happens to you, you can only choose how you react to it" I love this, have you read Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl? If not, I think you would get a lot out of it! Congrats on finishing your first year and good luck with MS2! You deserve it!!!
Diversity representation is important man! Im glad you put this in the video! As a Native American pursuing a career in medicine. I found out that my people make up only 0.4% of the physician workforce. Continue to inspire JR, I appreciate all that you do! ✊🏽
Early or late to the video, you know I respect the hustle. Being out of my postbacc for a year has got me slightly nervous about hitting the ground running in August; good nerves I guess. Just tell me I'm going to pass and get the residency and attending position I think I want, ahahaha; wouldn't that be nice. I know for damn sure, I didn't come this far not to go the distance. I appreciate you being one of the GOATs of enlightenment on this journey. #KeepEvolving
Thank you so much GuitarmONizE! I have no doubt at all that you will pass with flying colors and get the exact residency and attending position you want. You’re going to be a GOAT yourself!! Always feel free to reach out if any questions come up! You’re going to crush it!
Congrats on making it through your first year!!! Thanks for all the helpful info and for getting me excited to start med school this upcoming August! Looking forward to more of your vids!
Have you made or are you planning on making a video about financial wellness and how to pay for medical school? I am a rising M1, on my own, and have no clue how to go about paying or taking loans.
I would be willing to share but I do t actually take notes lol. I just use Anki to study. I’ve made a few videos on this on my channel if you want to check those out!
Hahah maybe not that low either 😅. But once you start medical school I think it’s a pretty common realization that the way you study/work in undergrad may not have been the best when you compare it to what you do in med school. At least that was my case 😂
