Ya know, she knew she was unable to to drive because she was a little tipsy after the party and she made a ADULT decision not to get behind the wheel, That deserves a dismissal .

Well, it deserves appreciation, but if you're going to a party to drink, you should kinda expect not to drive home afterward, so with a bit more planning, she could've simply avoided the ticket. Anyway, I don't disagree with dismissing the case considering the circumstances.

@@kumaahito3927 did she know she couldn't park where she did at first? If she didn't know then, parking and then partying isn't bad. If she knew it was wrong and still parked to party then it was a no no. But she's a lovely lady and I doubt she would of done something illegal willingly.

@@ebony3419 I mean... That's not really a good excuse. Not knowing the law (almost) never makes it okay to break it. Afaik they don't accept ignorance as an alleviating factor, at least definitely not here. Also, most people are doing "illegal" things willingly all the time, even if they are nice. Speeding ("I'm going just a tiny bit faster than allowed"), parking ("I won't be here for long, I don't disturb anybody"), or in case of ridiculous laws, even easier. Still, as I said in my previous comment, I agree with dismissing the case/ticket. It wasn't that big of a deal, and not driving under influence is way more important than not parking in a no parking zone - at least as I see it.

@@kumaahito3927 It wasn't the law that she broke but a weird (in my opinion) city ordinance that prohibits parking overnight. I don't know if that is something peculiar of this city but I had never heard of such a thing until I started watching these videos. It seems to be the most popular way to get a ticket in Providence. I wish someone would explain to me the rationale behind this ordinance and how people are expected to observe it. If you don't have a garage or driveway of your own what do you do with the car? Just drive around in circles until the sun rises?

true what an unexpected outcome.. I mean everyone already said it she is incredibly cute and pretty, but for the second ticket I absolutely do agree with inspector Carrigan. I simply don't think that her smile should be enough to get the ticket dismissed.

She even got away with saying "Yea" several times to the judge. Normally he tells people they are in court and should show respect and say "yes, sir" Being cute seems to help alot in this world

Edit: Nevermind, she definitely gave a "yeah" as a direct response... not sure how she got away with that one lol Everyone who's commented about Allison getting away with the "yeah", I think the Judge let it slide because she wasn't directly responding to him with the "yeah" but more of a lead in to her explanations and the actual answer itself. Had she responded to a yes or no question with just a "yeah" or "nah" then I think the Judge would have dug into her, especially since she aspires to be a teacher. That or he let it slide because she seemingly had a good attitude in court because he does look and sound kind of annoyed at first.

Iam from germany and dont understand this rule with overnight parking. You are really not allowed to park on the street at night? Where do all the people park? I bet not everyone has a space for the car. Here in Germany nothing like this exists, you can park everywhere how long you want if its not a prohibited area. What is if someone visits a friend or family? Where do people from outside of the city put their cars? Thats a super strange rule if you ask me.

During my youth, the girls looked nothing like her. They were all plain Janes. She, on the other hand is super cute with a unique voice and a great personality. If I was 50 years younger, I’d find her and ask her to the senior prom.
