There may be no greater indicator of a hotel’s quality than the lobby. It is, of course, the first thing patrons see upon arrival. And while it's a cliché to say you can only make a first impression once, it's also true. So when it comes to designing an inviting, beautifully laid-out hotel lobby, there is a lot that goes into the planning. Yet, it must be said that lobbies can be misleading too. While some lobbies may seem small or almost an afterthought, and not fitting of the great service and detail that the hotel provides, others can be so over-the-top that they overshadow the tiny room that awaits you. These 20 lobbies, however, are perfectly fitting for their hotel. This is to say, they are truly spectacular.
