The 2012 Nissan Murano is an Old, but Gold, Sophisticated Family SUV 

I own a 2012 base model Murano, white. It’s exactly like yours. I bought it new and it has been very reliable. The smooth ride, generous legroom, and quiet cabin are what sold me on the vehicle. Plus that 3.5 liter V6 is a wonderful engine! I like the smooth driving characteristics of the CVT, too. I just changed the CVT fluid and the two separate transmission filters at 57,000 miles. This is important to do; it will greatly prolong the life of the transmission. As mentioned, these Jatco CVT transmissions are a weak link in the cars that use them. I would have done this service earlier, but I wasn’t aware of the issue. Nissan likes to pretend that the CVT needs no maintenance, but changing the fluid and filters will help them to last much longer. An interesting aside: the 2012 is the last model year to include a transmission fluid dipstick.

I have the Exact same but mine has a 2011 2.5L 4 cylinder two wheel drive from Japan. But mine is surprisingly more luxurious when it comes to tech, i have build in Bluetooth, hands free calling, automatic wipers. The ride quality is truly amazing mine has already 128.000+ km's on it and it has been very reliable. Getting the engine and trans serviced this weekend. Also do not forget to change the auxiliary filter of the CVT! That's the most important filter. Most people do not know about it.

I have a 2008 and it doesn't feel old with 200k miles on it..I'm gonna do something with the LCD screen of the head unit and the cvt. The engine is still very smooth, the suspension comfortable. Its my daily for work.

I have a 2009 Nissan Murano SL. Had it for 3 years now and only had oil changes and tires done on it. It has almost 180000 miles on it. Still drives like new. The body style is the same as your 2012 Murano. But the tail lights are made a little different than your Murano. I love it and will be driving it for years to come.. Mine is maroon in color.. On the CD player the 6 buttons are for your 6 slot CD player. You can play 6 different CDS at different times. Mine has the 6 player CD changer in it also. The buttons on both sides of the six buttons are for ejection and loading the CDS. Hope that helps you out..

I own one. One thing that I can't figure out (well there's quite a few things; with all the buttons & controls), but at the very top of the dash on the driver's side, down at the bottom of the windshield; there's 2 round buttons. I can see them reflecting in the bottom of my windshield, but I've never tried to press them, since I don't know what they're for. Does anyone know? Thanks!

Hello Mate, i have same murano ame model of your car and i bought it brand new now my Odo is 77km coz very often to use it, now my problem is when this 2023 come when i start it in the morning my volume of my radio is gone nothing no sound at all the volume working up and down no sound need help please.Cheer's

If you take care of it, it will last. I have 210,000 miles on mine.
