find it funny yet depressing how Auburn had to face an 11-1 Clemson on the road, 9-3 LSU, 11-1 Bama that won the Natty, and a 11-1 Georgia Twice, which in one they didn't have there best player Kerryon Johnson. Even if they made the playoffs, they would've had to face Heisman winner Baker Mayfield and Oklahoma, and probably Clemson again in the Natty. Honestly don't know a team with a harder schedule every year than Auburn.
It is that way right now because y’all have to play Georgia and Alabama every year Things go in cycles and it will change. I’m sure when Nick Saban retires. You’re too young to remember this. But in the 90s Georgia probably had a hardest schedule every year having to play Florida who they beat once in the 90s and Tennessee who we did not beat in the 90s. Both Florida and Tennessee were top 5 programs back then and they owned Georgia. The 90s were the dark ages for Georgia. Right now seems to be that way for Auburn but I would imagine Auburn will be back in time.
@@JohnnyBallgame88 I mean we had to face Florida every year too lol.....but I see what you're saying. Honestly though Auburn need to replace one of our games such as Texas A&M or Arkansas for the rivalry against Florida again, I remember that one game in 2019 where we played in the Swamp and that game was crazy, not because we lost, but because of the atmosphere
@g6iii By the evidence of how we played against Georgia, I think Alabama would have kept jalen in the game bc he wouldn't of played so bad bc our defense was so horrible thus thinking imo we would have just simply outscored bama. Which would have changed the trajectory for Jalen and Tua. Just my theory nothing more.
