I've been dreaming of getting a Roadmaster for a long time. Well the wait is over, haha. I just got it a few days ago and I can tell you coming from a Harley, BMW, Honda, Kawasaki etc this bike feels like your not even riding a motorcycle. Its so nimble and the distribution of the weight can fool you. So far I am happy and loving it. No wonder you don't see these on Craigslist too often. Definitely a keeper.

My Mate had a Harley he just sold it and brought a roadmaster he said he would never go back to a Harley after riding the Indian now i am thinking of buying one

I've been riding harleys for 15 years and they are nice bikes but they have things that should be improved on, I went and checked out the Indian roadmaster and went on a test ride and on that little 9 mile ride they allowed I and my wife was sold.. it was so much smoother and well balanced and the engine was quieter than my harley and took bad bumpy roads like a Cadillac... traded in my 2016 ultra and now have a new Indian roadmaster and I love it... I still also have a 100 Anniversary HD soft tail that is a single passenger bike but the Indian is my long ride touring bike.. oh and for the price it is fully loaded and HD at that price is not.

Harleys sold in the U.S. are indeed assembled in one of four plants located in Wisconsin, Missouri and Pennsylvania. But the brakes and clutch are imported from Italy, the engine pistons are made in Austria, the bike suspension comes from Japan, and other electronic components originate in Mexico and China Harleys are a bitza parts made everywhere including china .

Comfortable seat. That is a very subjective comment. You say all day touring comfort. Yet I can't go more than an hour. I find the stock seat horrible. Aside from that, and few minor tweaks, my Roadmaster is awesome!

I prefer my Roadmaster over my Harley Ultra Limited. I've added additional lights to the rear and front on mine.

I don't care for the big bulky square lowers. They should sleek them down a little . Also the fairing trim lol

I'll pay it because the experience and joy it gives you is priceless. Plus resale on Indian are alot better than Harley. I rode with a buddy for 4 years and he recently passed. I will say I had a great time with him and will never forget our rides. I miss my buddy tremendously but the time we spent together is priceless. That's why we do it... BTW just picked up a Roadmaster.....

Accessories are crazy COSTLY, & why? Harley destroys them especially in this department. Just purchased a 19 Roadglide Special one week ago and the cost of accessories definitely influenced my decision. I was on the fence until this point was proven.

Rode my 2017 Harley Ultra Limited to the Indian store. Rode away on my 2017 Ultra Limited. These Roadmasters suck. My right leg and my wife's was so hot the flesh was about to melt off it. Who would pay this much money to have their leg fried. Oh they say they have something to add air, well good Lord can we just add that to start with? If I want to ride a wood burning stove I'll go to Lowes, no thank you Indian.
