Everyone online always say the cars are unreliable and I have 3 friends that have them and they have the ‘17 versions the cars are still great with no major issues. And the windows are thick and secure one of those friends almost had their car broken into and the thieves punctured the two side windows multiple times and the glass won’t break.
Those are not stock wheels.... but even the stock SQ4 had 20's. ;-) Engine - It's a DimondStar blkock, co-designed when Mercedes owned dodge. It's a great design, a bit old, but it's been in millions of cars, including the Ghibli and has proven to be very reliable. @4:05 The size of the front and the look... proportionally, IT'S BEAUTIFUL! Look again and compare it to... basically any 4 door sedan and tell me it doesn't look good. 🙂 @4:20 Don't forget, you should compare the Ghibli to any other car from 2013, because that's when it was made and it's had very little upgrades since then. For a car that was designed in 2011-2012 has really aged well. @6:25 ICE - increased effeminacy - aka: eco mode @7:20 you think it's funny the windows down go down all the way...? Ha, try folding down the rear seat without destroying the rear air vents. 🙂 @7:40 that compartment is cooled by your A/C. Put your drink in there. Maintenance is very reasonable if you take care of it. IT LOVES oil changes... the dual turbo heat really cooks the oil, CHANGE IT OFTEN... like 5K miles and you'll never have a problem. Oil filters online are very reasonably priced. The transmission is a zf8 by BMW, basically indestructible. No known major flaws, other than people like to drive it hard and than wonder why it suffers. Be nice to it, it's Italian. PS I'm also an owner and loving it.
hey man i’m really considering buying one i just don’t want to get it and something goes wrong for 3-5k within a year it has 59k miles do you think i should be good.
Just bought myself a 2015 for 25k. It’ll end up being 37k after I get the extended warranty and pay interest. Looking to instal jb4 tuning kit. Love the car! I get a lot of compliments!
hey just out of curiosity, how much do you pay for the insurance and where do you live? and whats been your experience with the fuel economy? im 24 and very tempted to buy a 2016 for 17-18k and Im trying to see if I can afford it lol
Hey this is Kyle the same person, I just have multiple RU-vid profiles. Insurance is about $1000 every 6 months, and payment are $400 over 6 years. I however pay $500 each month. It has been a blessing. I live in N.D. And it drives well on ice. It’s too low to drive over any snow and it doesn’t have any place to hook up a tow hook so if I get stuck in a ditch I’d be in trouble. You definitely need a 2nd car if you live in any state that snows. Way to low and snow will get you stuck.
@@4eo232 fortunately and unfortunately I live in LA so no worries about snow lol but insurance rates are wild here (especially since my rates are probably still very high because of my age. I'll probably have to get a quote before buying. thanks for the input!
@@ProfessorDrives It however depends on what road conditions you are on, if its a straight and relatively dry road and tires are fine, that can be what you achieve with brake boost. Hope u get ur hands on one!
The blank switch space is used in other models for the adjustable dampers. The Levante center console has cup holders, too. There’s a switch inside to route the AC into the console.
You said it all ! Maintenance is crazy on this car ! But when you buy one , you wanna buy it again ! And drive is not really nice either or comfortable! And cheap material Shift start making noise Those mirrors on doors if is going wrong you only have to take it to Maserati store ! Beautiful looking car with very very unique exhaust voice
Everybody beats up on Maserati When bmw and Mercedes are known to have major issues and don't get me started o American Cadillac that's known to be complete trash
Thank you so much! And yes it is! It would be AWESOME for the first few months, but once the maintenance costs start hitting it won't be a super fun time lol.
They are really good i have one i love it for that kind of money i would never buy any other car and just to inform you thats a fridge bro thats why it has cup holders it has a button inside to turn the cooling on
Honestly, what happens is, people buy cars like this and do not maintain them. As a result, all the maintenance adds up…resulting in several thousand dollars in repairs…then, all the Internet trolls say how lousy Maserati is. I’ve owned my 2006 Maserati GranSport that is tuned and heavily modified and not only has it been meticulously maintained…I’ve had ZERO problems. Buy a Maserati, do the maintenance and stop bitching.
@@ChicagoItalian I was also listening to reviews and heard that they’re not as bad as they made out to be I would love to have one just for a special car to only bring out the special occasions not a new one, but a really lower mileage used one
Me personally I HATE blue screens in cars … has to be the cheapest tackiest looking shit… especially in a Maserati to have a damn Honda screen or Chrysler screen no… speedometer is boring aswell…
The fact that you can get a 2019 Maserati for $30,000 isn't enticing, it's suspicious.. As it should be. There's a reason the price dropped that much.. You're still paying for parts and maintenance on an $80,000 car.
