Burrow: Has already made a Super Bowl and 2 AFC Championship games Herbert: had one of the best rookie seasons ever and is off to one of the statistical best QB careers in his first few years Hurts: Has made a Super Bowl and is about to lead his team to the 1 seed again Tua: Has overcome injuries and is currently on pace to be a pro bowl starter and maybe win the MVP Love: Is emerging now after sitting behind Rodgers No matter how you rank them, this class is absolutely insane. Edit: if you think any of these guys are mid, you obviously aren’t educated with the game or familiar with these players.
@@nikosarantidis2200 respectfully, stfu. His statistics and career situation and what he did prove he’s not mid. You’re biased, and your opinion isn’t valid. Get out of here.
The fact Herbert performs at the level he does despite Staley and Spanos is astounding. Look how things turned around for Jalen and Tua after they got a proper coach in tandem with owners that want to win.
This lets you know that Location means everything. A QB can have all the promise in the world but if he plays for an organization that doesn't give him good coaches (Sam Darnold Jets, Zach Wilson Jets, Baker Mayfield browns) then that qb will suffer slowly but surely 😢.
the best example of this being 2021 Trevor lawrence on the perpetual laughingstock jags vs 2022 and onwards trevor lawrence on the AFCS powerhouse jags. It's nurture over nature with QB
@@Noctem_pasa100% QB in the NFL is a total mental game. Guys are just used to going out there in collage and growing the rock around but then they get to the NFL and don’t have any one to guide them, well nature will take its course.
Never forget most draft analysts flamed the Bengals for taking the luxury pick of Chase over addressing the o-line need with Sewell, and that intensified after reports of Chase struggling in pre-season training. Ultimately almost everyone is clueless about the draft including those paid to be in the know.
Never forget that the Bengals lost the Super Bowl because of their lack of an O-line. Not to mention that Burrow would probably have less injuries with a better OL
@@blueleader392 never forget they wouldn't have got there without Chase... I get your point but they've had plenty of chances to improve their o-line, you don't get many chances at a top-3 wr
Considering the Bengals are speedrunning the Andrew Luck simulator with Burrow with how much they let him get beaten up back there, I think the O line comments are still valid
@@adamdickinson2894 well they’ve whiffed on almost every O-line addition they’ve made. And they would have still had Higgins and Boyd. Also O-line talent is way harder to find then WR
This entire class is a W, especially considering how the 2021 and 2022 QB classes have turned out. Hell, as funny as it is, Tyler Huntley is from the 2020 draft class and even he has a Pro Bowl nod
@@NAT-turners-Revenge leads the league since being drafted in turnovers in one possession/score games in the 4th QTR. He’s contributed as well to underachieving as far as the chargers as a team is concerned.
@@justadude1065you fail to mention that he also is top 3 in the league in game winning drives since entering the league. He’s put in these situations way more than any other qb in the league making those stats you mentioned inflated. He’s not a turnover guy and is generally safe with the ball but when put in that situation you eventually have to force a throw and picks are just inevitable… and I can point to you multiple games where the ball bounced off his receivers hands or the receiver ran the wrong route leading to the interception, but I won’t because you’re clearly ignorant and don’t know ball lil👦🏿
@@spidamitchell8311mac has no WRs my ass, he has weapons. JuJu is Solid, both TE are above average. Issue is that jones sucks ass and you might say well he made a pro bowl as a rookie, yea as a rookie that averaged roughly 220 passing yards a game with just over 20 Passing tds.
@@spidamitchell8311 Wilson also has no WRs after Garrett and his OC is the guy that made history by being the first coach to be fired midseason WITHOUT committing class action lawsuit material
People really don't grasp how good Burrow is. I see constant hate against him. Hes played behind abysmal olines his entire NFL career. His SB run and run back to the AFC Championship game he played behind the 29th and 31st worst ranked olines in the league. He was sacked the most of any QB in NFL history in a single postseason game, postseason and SB and he damn near pulled it off and would have had that bogus call against Wilson wasn't made and if the oline blocked a split second longer to hit a wide open Chase. Burrow has the most 400 and 500 yard games by a QB in NFL history in their first 3 NFL seasons. Burrow is the only QB in NFL history with multiple 500 yard, 4TD performances. Burrow is the league history leader among qualifying QBs in completion percentage. Burrow is one of few QBs in NFL history to lead in yards per attempt and completion percentage in the same season and the only QB to achieve that being graded as the most aggressive passer which is described as passes completed with a 1 yard margin of error. Burrow has been graded as QB1 by PFF and QB1 with a clean pocket and against the blitz backed by nextgen stats. Burrow consistently leads in CPOE Burrow is also 4th all time in passing yards in a single game and 4th all time in a two year span in the playoffs. This is all playing behind some of the worst olines, and having full reconstructive knee surgery, a ruptured appendix, and not having a single offseason or preseason to prepare for the upcoming season. The list goes on and on. Yet I consistently see this guy being shit talked and hated on (obviously excluding this video)
@@Renegade-kf8fp the only other one I’ve seen off to as fast of a start as far as recent QB classes is this one that was just covered. Hurts has some pretty incredible achievements but you really can’t with a lot of QBs.
@@Renegade-kf8fp as far as starting QBs the only QBs you could really do this is with is Burrow, Hurts, Herbert, Mahomes, Lamar, Stafford, Rodgers. I’m not sure there is many others. Purdy possibly considering he’s been very consistent. Tua as well.
You're right. Burrow has that Brady or Mahomes game-changing spark of genius. Having Burrow play from behind a top 5 OL would truly be something. Lokk at Hurts! I think the Bengals need to rebuild in 2024 and 2025, and that Burrow will get back to full potential in 2 to 3 years.
He was drafted to by far the best situation an it showed early....2 all pro recievers and a amazing tight end...plus ekeler at running back?? This team should be a lock for playoffs and more every year but there not...
@@dirtdawgz8326exactly And when he gets 50m it’s shut up and play as he doesn’t have bad wrs and they drafted o line in back to back years And have a lot of talent.
@@EGuala21No, Telesco and Spanos are the reasons. Without Herbert, that team would be a perennial 0-16 or 0-17. You can't do everything when your receivers drop easy passes, the defense sucks and your coaches are dog water.
You God Damn right it is. I know Herbert, by record, is not having a great year compared to literally the other 4, and Joe Burrow sadly got injured, and Jordan Love had a rough middle season, and Jalen Hurts is not playing as well as last year, and Tua is not beating good teams, but still, they are one of the greatest quarterback draftclasses out there and the fact that people still like to talk about which one of them is the best shows just how legendary they are. The new 1983 Quarterback draft class in my opinion.
@EGuala21 that mediocre qb has over 50% of his wins coming off of 4qcs and has had arguably the best stats out of any of the 2020 draft class. Shove Jaylen Waddle, Tyler Boyd, Devante Smith or Jayden Reed onto his receiving corps and he immediately wins a playoff game. Every other QB also has a run game, so they aren't part of a one dimensional offense having to outplay a defense that knows what's coming every play. There's Mixon, Dillon, Swift and Achane all who are 10x better than best choice brand CMC. Imagine having a bottom 3rd rushing attack, bottom 5 defense and some of the worst coaching in the league and being 1 game under .500, but sure, he's mediocre
Im not sold on Love yet. But i will say as a jets fan now having Rodgers at qb....Lefleur has to be somewhat pleased to have a qb who gets rid of the ball and isnt allergic to the middle of the field.
@@Shuayb_Muhammad bro the packers looked like shite mid season and were barely .500, my comment is from a month+ ago. I I even noted a positive aspect of his game. I said at the beginning of the year Love would need time, in no way do I want them to move on and they're definitely not now.
Legendary might be a stretch at this point. None of them have won anything. They all have potential to be amazing but results are the ultimate measurement
I've never heard a media talking head criticize Herbert for his career losing record or mention that despite his big arm his yards per pass attempt are middle of the pack because he checks the ball down so damn much. As long as he makes a couple of wow throws a game he's the golden boy. Meanwhile, Tua gets criticized for 60 yard TD throws that are allegedly "underthrown" by a half step and the fact that he had a winning record as a starter even during his first 2 seasons with limited talent around him and a coach that didn't want him is ignored.
I'm a Tua fan and I hate the Herbert comparison mainly cause its a media concoction. Both are very skilled. Tua maybe didn't have the best situation but it worked out for him. Herbert in 2023 didn't have the best situation. I don't think either of them take this media competition personally.
Hurts right now. If Hurts misses SB LVIII (2023 season), it will be Love, or Tua. Bengals have missed their opportunity this year. Like the Eagles and Chargers, they need to revamp their roster under a huge QB cap. Miami has 1 more year to recruit and develop an OL while Tyreek and Mostert are still there, and Tua on the cheap. At the same time, the young Packers will come to maturity next season, so Love, or Tua, have the best window to win an SB before the others. Which has nothing to do with their respective fabulous (Hurts, Burrow, Herbert) individual talent.
It’s dumb, the qb contract is indeed just getting more than the previous guy regardless of if they deserve it, it’s not even just an extension anymore.
Beacuse when someone has showed you once that they could do very well, you know they have it in them. That's an epiphany. Now, I agree, in order to be considered a solid franchise QB, Love has to do it consistently. But the Packers-Lafleur-Love future looks much better than 3 months ago, wouldn't you agree ?
Herbert has had a stacked team every yr of his career , and ppl are still blaming the coaches and owners. Typical chargers fans who stuck with Phillip and his stacked rosters for 14 yrs
Big facts in my opinion hes a better ryan tannehill, ryan was a wide reciever in college but had he played from the beginning as a qb he’s exactly the same as herbert they cant see the pressure coming and is are huge choke artist also both have big arms
@@Evr0manBruh Love JUST started his career. Of course he’s not a legend yet. But he just beat and outplayed Mahomes, is top 5 in TDs, and could very likely lead the Packers to the playoffs. I’d say that’s pretty damn good for a first year starting QB
He was on two of the previous nine thumbnails. I also picked him to be my MVP in a video recently released. I don't think that's being snubbed personally
Don’t think Burrow will ever win a Super Bowl, he will be 27 tomorrow, and with his injury history and mediocre team, and likely losing Tee Higgins, there Super Bowl window is gone
I wouldn't give up until we're sure his career is over. John Elway didn't win his two super bowls until the last two seasons of his career by then he was 37. He lost his first 3 super bowl appearances too, so it took him 4 trips to finally win it. Many doubted he'd win one before his 1997 victory.
I think out of all of these individually Tua stands out as one who is clearly a product of the system, I think any of the other 4 guys could easily step into the role he has with the Dolphins and show similar results
@@Evr0man it’s not a casual mindset? Look at his numbers before and after Tyreek Hill 😂 average QB before he got their I like Tua as a QB but his stats are mad inflated because of his receivers he just throws it in the relative area of Tyreek Hill for like 35 yards and Hill does the rest of the work, if you watched the games you would know, just because I have a differently opinion doesn’t make me a casual, even Dolphins fans admit he is not an elite QB he is the definition of product of the system
@@Luigi22Green same with Patrick mahomes Tyreek was not even considered the best recievr in the league with mahomes but with tua people saying he the best of all time
He "deserves" whatever the owner and GM decide he's worth in terms of audience, hot dogs and t-shirts. Could be 150 mil (less than Dak) or 300, there is no such thing as "deserve" in pro sports.
At least you understand that you are biased in your complete and total ignorance of how bad Herbert actually is. He is the definition of garbage time stats. Yes he is still better then some of the bottom feeder QBs that are starting but he is average at best and that is being generous.
Legendary how? No rings making it to an AFC championship game doesn’t mean shit you have to actually win Super Bowls nothing will ever top to 1983 class you guys right away I want to see legendary and these guys are Hall of Famer and blah blah blah blah blah blah they played like three years bro pump your brakes you Young right away wanna make somebody a legend and they haven’t even been in the league that long.
