@@KH-sc8yn They do make vehicles in China with China-only specifications (such as a LWB E-Class) but the SUVs are primarily targeted at the North American market where SUVs are most popular. Europe is not a big market for SUVs which is why Mercedes doesn't build large SUVs in Germany (The GLC and G are the only European built Mercedes SUVs).

This vehicle is six times what I paid for my first house in 1975! When things start failing on this beast and they will, I can't imagine the costs involved in repairs. It is a beautiful piece of metal, but, with all metal, it will someday end up rusting away and going back in the ground from which the elements from which it came.

The car is covered in Maybach emblems but has a big fat Mercedes emblem on the steering wheel and the hood. Weird. It even has a skid plate as if someone would actually take it off-road. Isn't that adorable?

Its an OEM pimped GLS 580. All the money goes to the rear seats which are essentially outfitted to be airline level first class pods. Drive-wise its an identical vehicle except for an extra Maybach mode for the vehicle settings. If you have a chauffer and consider yourself an oligarch or a wannabe this is the car for for you! Exclusively for those that want to flash cash , the vehicular version of "making it rain". If you drive this yourself then you are definitely not "worthy" of this car.

Next time you can try showing car visually first and give brief introduction to it. After two minutes I have realized that I don't even knew what the car looks like and what it is... I know what Maybach is and what GL is but didn't even knew they made one.

In 10 years, Tyler Hoover will be saying, I just bought the cheapest Mercedes Maybach GLS600 in America! And either the Car Ninja or Car Wizard will need to fix it via a 5 figure repair estimate....ok having said that. I love the feature content. I am not warming up to the looks....I do like that Mercedes is trying a two tone paint combo..you don't see that much but I the grill and wheels don't seem to compliment the SUV shape. I think a more understated look would have been better.

The MayBach SUV is incredible. The rear seating is on Par with the Cullinan and the interior is better than the Bentayga. Perfect luxury SUV for cruising.

Nice looking car but paint scheme makes it look incredibly tacky. The absolute only thing from this entire vehicle that I would like to see in mainstream vehicles are the window shades. Would be nice for pulling over on a trip and taking a snooze at a rest stop to push a button and close all of the shades in your car.
