I put a deposit down on one this week for a March collection. I passed my theory and have my direct access training next week. The weather is bad in the UK between Nov-March so I figure wait and get a 24 registrationi plate. I'll do a days refresher training before collecting the bike.

Exactly what I bought last spring, for myself. I traded in a T120 Bonneville for it. I've owned two other Triumphs, a 2002 Trophy 1200 sport tourer, and also a 2012 Speed Triple. Of all of these Triumphs, the Tiger 660 Sport is really becoming a favorite for me. I'm 55 years old now, and I like the light weight, manageable power, handling, and pretty much everything about it. I put bags on the side, fog lamps (LED), and a quick shifter ( a little temperamental it is). I don't ride super long rides, and use it for commuting, a lot. It's really nice on B roads, out in the country, and is the best all around ride I've ever owned, for just being an average, older rider. Thanks for the positive review! Love your channel, always good advices given.

I own the 2022 Trident 660 and really enjoy it! I did replace the stock exhaust with a LeoVince and removed the DB killer so extra loud! I mostly ride on country roads in central Ohio. Cheers!

I own one and these are great middleweight sport touring bikes. I also own a Bonneville T120, so I'm a bit of a Triumph fanboy. Like you say, the TS660 has plenty of pep, good brakes, great handling and easy on the wallet. I added the Quickshifter, Bluetooth module for nav, and full Triumph hard luggage. Paid $13k brand new out the door with taxes, fees and all the above extras. Great bike!.

Thanks for this. I purchased this bike about five weeks ago, and I have no regrets. One of the things that really completes the package are the optional side cases. They both fit a full sized helmet, and it’s awesome to be able to park the bike lock up my helmet and riding jacket, and not have to carry everything around with me. I found really nothing to be disappointed about other than the heated grips which put out very little heat. I’ve been riding almost three years , and the triple 660 is the perfect step up from From the sub 500 cc learning bikes that I started with. It’s got just enough top end power to have a little excitement without getting in trouble, and great low end torque to get off the line.

18k views and 0 comment? What happened? Anyway, I love this bike, reminds me of my 2015 Yamaha Diversion S I had. 600cc is enough nowadays. I currently have a Honda VFR800X Crossrunner, but frankly between a 600 and 800 it's no big deal. Cheaper to buy and maintain for sure than 1000cc+ bikes.

I got this bike one year ago being tired of feeling miserable in the wind and feeling every bumps on our country roads riding my little cruiser while my BF was super comfy riding his Concour 14 😂 BEST DECISION EVER! Following your advices to always keep learning and improving, I'll be taking her to the track for a day class to improve my trail breaking and position in curves and later that same month another class to improve some slow speed maneuvers; I'm a 5'7" woman and that bike is super easy and forgiving; backing it up can be a bit tricky sometimes but then I just come off the bike and roll it into the parking spot 😂

Took one home yesterday. Inaugural ride made me love it! It handles the Virginia blue ridge mountain curves very nicely, and is has a enough torque to carry me along. IMO, I wish it had cruise control, but that’s not a deal breaker. I love the tall profile, even though I have a long torso and shorter legs, “thanks Mom”🤣 The only other bikes I’ve ever ridden were a Yamaha Virago, and a 1990 Harley sportster 883 that I owned from new until 1995. Honestly, I never knew what really nice handling bikes feel like, but if this is anywhere close, then I’m in love. The flashing tach during the first 100 mile break in period is a tad annoying, as it doesn’t want you over 4,000 rpm, but that can’t be helped if you get on any highway. I can’t ride 100 miles under 4000 rpm in my 35 mph neighborhood.

Hello, I like this bike very much, do you think it is beginner friendly or maybe too much as a first bike!? Thanx and ✌️
@ptilrem
@ptilrem Год назад
@@svaralen I'd say it's a pretty good beginner bike all in all. It's very easy to ride with that smooth engine. Now I live in Norway, and we don't have "beginner bikes" like americans. When we take our test, we allready ride big bikes like the GS750 or bigger. We learn to ride on them, and we have compulsory track learning, and long distance riding. If you're an american with only the MSF, yeah, this bike is actually gentle enough for first time riders. As long as you don't rev the tits out of it. I tried many bikes, but this one was the one I fell in love with.
@svaralen
@svaralen Год назад
@@ptilrem Thank you, I live in Serbia 🇷🇸 so here also we use big bikes during the test, I used the SV650 for my test but I like ADV bikes. I had a maxi scooter before and am looking for my first real bike and this one can be the one. Here in Serbia the dealers don't have test bikes 😵‍💫, you go to the shop, you see it and you take it or leave it. Take care and ride safe ✌️

Changed the front and rear Suspension to racing suspension, Added full zard exhaust, Flashed the ECU with a DNK tune and added a lot of safety and creature comfort accessories. Great bike! The brakes are fine but I'm thinking of upgrading to front Brembos in the spring. My upgrades reduced weight, added more power and riding performance. What did you think of the gearing? I purchased a JT 17 tooth front sprocket but haven't installed it yet. I find the gearing to be a bit short.

I ride along the Amsterdam canals every day, behind cars that are crawling at 10km/h, bicycles coming from nowhere, pedestrians misbehaving, all while riding over cobblestone/brick roads. The Tiger 660 responds exactly as expected every time I have had to react in a split second. My only gripe is the extremely short 1st gear, but I can live with it since everything else is just great.

You can feel a little better about it after the dealers add the shipping and set-up charges that take the base price from about $9,500 to about $11,200 plus the state taxes and registration fees. Here it would be over $12,000 total. I'd love to know where he found it for $8,000 +. I just found a demo model for about $1,000 less than usual but still more than the one he rode in the video.

so you buy a brand new sport bike and before you get on the road you want to change the suspension, further down the road i'm guessing you'll want to change the exhaust! with the monthly payments and fuel on top you will never have the time to ride anywhere as you will be working to pay for it.I will never understand consumer bunnies .Also these modern machines are probably assembled in china these days and share the same cheapo parts, they are in no way worth what they are priced at, they are overcomplicated so you cannot fix them, they will need to go to the dealer stealer.I ride a 12 year old Benelli superbike(not the chinese one) ,same style, more panache , less than half the price all paid up, oh 50mm fully adjustable Marzocchi suspension
