@@JorgeItuarte we will see. Most of the videos I have seen the comments are very positive. At 300k, most people won't be able to afford it, and GM knows that. But they are going after the CEOs, the Trust fund kids, the Athletes, the rappers, the musicians, the actors, and hedge funds guys. And this will have a presence like no other!
Return of Luxury Sedans is coming ; nothing more comfortable and distinguished. The Celestiq is a great vehicle but not what is needed by Cadillac to bring it back to it's once enviable status as America's top luxury brand.. Cadillac needs elegant but contemporary luxury sedans and luxury coupes with iconic names and amenities like those of the past..We are waiting for the brands return to it's great Standards of unrivaled styling and premium luxury comforts!
Just intentionally bought the nicest CTS coupe in the country! Base model from 2012, no technology. Regular radio, no screens or cameras. I think it's going to become a collectors item because of all the basic tech
@@deanbrandon3615 I like those and the Pontiac G8. I'm enjoying the Cadillac for now, cool little 320hp rwd grand touring coupe. Still want a low mile Crown Vic or Grand Marquis
This is a urine sample. And I'm a sucker for the new GM. The gut feeling I get is this is a car for Elon and Kanye. Zero taste. It's like a Marvel Universe car. YUUUUCK.
I'd sure like to love this, but I already see glaring flaws. Access to the trunk is difficult and a high lift. The trunk is too open to the passenger compartment. The rear seat only takes two persons and is squeezed by a tall center console.. The front Frunk is too small. So big yet not an ideal setup for luxury and sublime comfort. Sorry.
I love that Cadillac did this. New from the bottom up, an all American, kiss my ass, outrageous, made to order electric CAR, not an SUV, which is a truck. Huge, elegant, but only 4 seats so it’s chic. Ferrari did the Roma model which says the same thing in Italian. No one else is doing modern glamour. RR is stupid, as is Bentley, Bugatti, Audi, Mercedes, Teslas design is weak. Cool ride. I sent this to every client of mine. 5 are ordering. Go Detroit.
WTF! $300k! Who are they trying to compete with - Maybach & Rolls-Royce? This is so overpriced. $100k would make more sense in the realm of the EQS, Tesla Model S, & Lucid Air
Used to have a Cadillac CTS: great car. My criteria now are comfort, which the Celstiq seems to have with air suspension, magnetic ride, and a long wheelbase, visibility, utility, and fun. The acceleration on this would be fun, but I’d rather hear and feel the rumble of a V-8. The interior of a Ram 1500 is better for my taste. To each their own.
As an owner of both a RAM (yeah, ride quality!) and a modern Cadillac (the wife's car) I'd say Cadillac has ride quality. Of course that depends on the model you buy and the features you give it. Many Cadillacs are "sport" meaning they are more ride control than quality. I.E. the CTS in some itterations. That said, I used to own Silverados. Miss the ride control, as the RAM just doesn't have that. But smooth, it is so smooth in comparison. Give and take.
I might pay that much for the Cadillac Sixteen that they never built, or something like the Chrysler Atlantic. Also never built. But the Celestiq looks more like a Citroen SM, and doesn't look stately enough for me to want to acquire it.
I think thats a lot of money… I’d rather have the Hummer or a couple of Hummers for the price… Now if this was $100k or even $150k, I would accept that.
It's not a high production car. Listen closely to the video. It's only made to order. Very bespoke build. Super high quality and finish and detail. Worth it if you ask me.
Owners gonna come through the hood with that shit and dudes gonna be like “what’s that”? “That’s that $300k Cadillac”. You see how crazy that sounds. 😂😂😂
The car is ugly as hell. And Cadillac must be out of their minds to think that anyone would want to buy a $300k electric vehicle from Cadillac. I'll take a Lucid instead. 🤷🏾♂️
Seriously tacky ugly. Looks like a giant Toyota Camry. Plus, it's dated, an environmental holocaust, toxic, heavy metal strip-mining, explosive, Chinese made Lithium Battery EV with no infrastructure to change them. No responsible person with an IQ over 50 is going to buy one. They are dead on arrival. Everybody on the right and left in The West know this now. The Graf Zepplin.
The front and the rear don't match it looks like two different cars. The profile has zero beauty lines. The range should be better a Tesla Model S has a significantly smaller battery but over 100 miles more of range and way faster a charges twice as fast and is about 2/3s cheaper. But hey buy a GM Cadilac that costs 3 times more not as safe lower range shitty to charge and slower than a Tesla lol
All I see is an elongated 1980 Toyota Celica Supra/squated Rand Rover Evoque/with trunk design similar to the old 1980's Honda CRX. Add 1969 Ford Mustang Fastback. How quickly people forget. GM, please design something that doesn't borrow design cues that have already been in the market.
Not a fan of the tail lights if im being honest. It looks like a child put em and drew em there. It doesn't look sophisticated like on the escalade or the cts
@@chefcjnobles1680 And you think the positive opinion from someone else who can’t afford it either matters? It’s whatever you need to tell yourself. Watch this car fail spectacularly.
Everything in your statement is wrong. Time to get up to date. Cadillac, and GM, is now blowing the doors off the Japanese OEMS with quality and design.
@@scottwilkins Not in that sense I'm referring to the old Fleetwood,Deville , DHS Cadillac brand they did try to change but they always fell onto their tailfins literally
300k ... no. If they sell if for 100k then they gonna sell a lot, everyone will choose this one over a Tesla because Tesla looks like cheap crap but 300k... no... people still prefer Rolls Royce and supercars
It will never sell for $100. That's because it's hand built. Not a high production car. Each one is special. Not sure why you guys don't understand that. Then again, you don't have 300K to blow either, I'm sure.
