The only one of these trucks that I get excited about is the Colorado ZR2 Bison. Looks the most aggressive, has the most off-road capability, is the perfect size, and is the cheapest of the three! (Btw MT on these specific tires means Maximum Traction not Mud Terrain). Great review!!!
Great review brother, I'll be looking for more reviews on the weeks ahead. Love love LOVE tne ZR2, both Silverado (more room, that's huge for me) and the Colorado (more nimble, athletic but no room in the back seat). If i was a billionaire, Id have one of each.
Those rock rails are actually a slip hazard cause people will think their steps, it’s hard getting in my Colorado Trail Boss so it’ll even harder getting in this cause it’s taller! I’m getting electric steps for mine cause they look cleaner! That big tire in back would drive me nuts plus it looks tacky to me!
I’m sorry BUT watching this guy makes me feel uncomfortable….. in the way that he has to be uncomfortable with the way he has let his body get to. We as Americans need to look in the mirror and start making better choices. I don’t care about your feelings this is not a healthy way to live and I know this is about trucks BUT come on … he looks unwell
I have heard other guys talk about the hard plastic like you did so tell me what else would you want .to me the plastic cleans easy and will last a long time compared to soft materials, but soft materials are for throw away cars to me . I keep vehicles a long time till they go up in price I have a 1968 GTX that was my dad's and a 1983 Toyota 4x4 high lux with the 22r that I have had since 83 and have been offered crazy amounts of money for both of them and now I have a 2021 Colorado zr2 that I think will become a classic so tell me what kind of interior you would prefer in a truck.
every car reviewer ever needs to make a mention of hard plastics and not enough soft touch surfaces. I don't understand it but apparently it's a big deal.
These thinhs are the reason why we cant have nice things. Like perfectly capable, comfortable, affordable and utilitarian Pickups/Utes that the Ford Maverick hybrid just barely addresses.
So realistically, buy a ZR2, change the gearing and throw a lift on it and you’re saving over six grand? GM can’t justify starting this truck at 60-61k. The better purchase would be the non-Bison package all day.
Lifting a ZR2 or Raptor is a huge mistake, as the remote reservoir shocks are sensitive to suspension geometry. The factory ZR2 can accommodate 35s w/o a lift.
It's comical listening to a guy talk about the off road features and capabilities of the Silverado ZR2 while driving on smooth graded gravel roads anyone could drive down at the same speed in most and SUV or passenger car.
The North American truck obsession is ridiculous. Most trucks just end up being pavement princesses. So few people ever take them on anything more difficult than a gravel road.
I have a 2021 zr2 and it has the lift shocks on the hood, and I was shocked when I saw the rod on the 2023, I am like you it's like what the hell is this cheap crap@@rutbuck121
