As a baby of the 60s (representing the wild senior demographic) I swear I’ve seen all these trends before! It’s all a big cycle. Love your videos and the information; you are such fun. Stay fabulous.🎉
60 also, I can shop in my attic and rummage through my nostalgic keeps. I’ve recently given away a lot of what is trending now as it doesn’t fit me . I can’t really wear the full on romantic floral but may tie a romantic flowing scarf to my purse or hair, or wrist. Voila
Without you,I wouldn’t know a thing about fashion, dear Cassie! I am every time so thankful for your videos..even though I am a 67 years old Dutch grandmother of 4,I am trying to keep up with fashion in my own way.😊 Don’t stop making these videos!🙏🏻🥰
I refuse to go back to stilettos or really any heel. Bunions and foot problems and ruining my back is not worth it. Ballet flats are ugly but flats all the way for me.
This is my favorite kind of video! It’s less about overemphasis on consumption and buying, it’s more about understanding how style is evolving by a wonderfully knowledgeable and eloquent vlogger. ❤
I am as far from luxury as you can get! I make $30k a year working 2 jobs in a tiny little Midwest USA town BUT I can’t stop watching you. I have gotten some great advice and ideas from you. Not to mention…..your voice makes me feel soooooooooooo LUX😂
as a finance girly, that frequents the office, I love quiet luxury. spending money on pieces that make the most sense idc idc idc. ya'll are going to get these wool sweaters and cashmere mock neck tops on a Tuesday! love the content Cass!
I have always despised ballet flats, and no amount of marketing will convince me that they are flattering for my silhouette. Also, as much as I admire clutches, as a person with ADD, there is no way I would not be forgetting them at tables, shops and restaurants as soon as I put them down.
Yeah, I just noticed it recently that ballet flats make my calves look bigger and my torso shorter. I am not sure that many experiences this, too. But we were unseparable during my early 20s, I didn't clearly know what I was doing for sure 😅
I usually don’t declutter my Spring/Summer wardrobe until I unpack it for Spring, but this video has inspired me to start going through it ahead of time. I could use the space
I like metallics 100%. The rest is just what we see every year, nothing crazy. Who doesn't own a shirt or some sort of white dress. As for quiet luxury before they called it minimal so nothing new there ! 😅
Pastels for spring… almost as innovative as flowers for spring 😅 - happy about baby pblue and butter yellow since have some pieces already , COS have some great, thin, marino wool long sleeve ones at the moment… in butter especially nice.
I recently visited Palm Springs, so my mind is going to the exact opposite of quiet luxury - think more Trina Turk floral prints. I'm 56, so I won't be wearing any sheer tops with my nips showing. I have enough leather jackets to last a lifetime. I love white dresses and buy a new one every summer. Ballet slippers make my feet look like flattened potatoes. I will be pulling out my pastel sweaters and perhaps now is a good time to purchase a cashmere sweater in the light blue.
Pastel coloured dresses with ballet flats or mary janes broken up with a leather jacket are pretty much my regular style, so I'm good for early 2024 then! yay!
The only way I'm doing quiet luxury is paring up basics with bold accessories. The leather and faux leather jackets are ready for their moment, along with my metallic clothes and accessories. I'm still wearing my non-pastel pinks this spring. It's a hill I will die on. 😁 No to ballet flats. I had enough of them in the 90's. I still get nightmares. 😳
The quiet luxury ✨️ dressing also comes at a time when society has fallen on hard times, and drawing attention to yourself could make you a target for robbery 😢
Great video! Clutches are a forever fav of mines regardless if they trending or not. Excited they will be trending as there will likely been a ton of options😍
I stumbles across your video and I really enjoyed your information. Thank you for giving your insight on 24 trends. I now have another person to follow!
Hello, love, love your earrings!! Re ballet flats. Unless you are quite tall they aren’t very flattering. Clutches are great but not very practical during daytime errand/work time keeping your one hand busy. Pastel colors for warm weather are a natural calm, beautiful thing. Yay!! Always looking forward to your videos. 🎉
Love these videos! Happy about the BBE lol … sometimes one needs a good Sack for everything lol … ballet flats again … as a former ballerina they belong in the studio that’s it 😂 … love the white dresses n Metallics as well … quiet luxury can take a back seat as always lol - ❤have a great day cassie
Ballet flats can be up 124% but im not on board with it ever. I agree with the sneaker or espadrille moments (i live in South Florida). Pastels are almost always in for SS, in some form...🎉
Another great informative video, I was thinking the entire video why is Cassie the only person I like these type of videos from? I suppose because you’re just so fabulous 💚💚💚💚
I love a ballet flat with an oversized boyfriend jean rolled up at the bottom so they don’t drag the ground. I will neverrrrrr go back to my jeans touching the ground 😂
I love these videos because I am hopeless at trends esp in women’s wear. I know I know she based in London now but Simone Rocha makes me proud to be Irish, she really build a brand. Did you know her dad use to have a mine in Debenhams
I don’t like any of theme. But as usual you are always bringing interesting content to your videos. I will be doing my own mixing when it comes to fashion and style.
Hi, new subscriber here! I would like to say no to ballet flats, but we'll see I'm a sucker for a good trend. I had them in the 80's in high-school they are a pain to keep clean and no height in only 5 4'.
CA💵💵I€ Idk how to get away from buying black as someone who travels all the time. My luggage, travel tote, travel crossbody & business casual running through airport shoes are always gonna make more sense as black. So if you could explain what other option would make sense and be a line you could count on to keep colors consistent over time that would be interesting to me. Perhaps oxblood because then it would go well with navy / charcoal / black? Or browns? 😊
Cassie great overview, where we need to spend our money😳🤪😜😂 My absolutely favorite is the last one draping. Its probably the one that i really dont have anything like that , and its epitome of femininity in such a sexy elegance. I need one of those dresses. Omg with wet hair style, its a vibe🙌😜. Have a blessed day❤️🙏
CA💵💵I€ Please also explain how AA narrow footed women can find a good ballet flat. I literally have given up on shoe shopping because the average shoes salesperson doesnt even know what AA is. 😭😭😭
I thought ballet flats were hideous in the 2000's and 2010's and I still think they are. I think they fit a certain foot but don't look good on everyone
When the hell is this ridiculous quiet luxury facade going to end? I love my logos. I am a Chanel VVIP. Me wearing logos is like a sports fan wearing his team jersey. We want to show our love and support. The late Diana Spencer was dripping in logos. Where did people come up with this silly idea that rich people like basic stuff? It is silly as flats. They are supposed to make you look comfortable but are as uncomfortable as heels, and do not do anything for you as any boring Loro sweater will do nothing for you. .I too, refuse to give into this quiet luxury trend, as well as flats.
