If they didn’t have 1-1 this year I’d say go for it. Sarr COULD change the outcome of this team IF his floor spacing pans out. Imagine Trae, JJ, and Sar being your core pieces. You move DM for future (attempt at ‘25 class) and get one of the higher end guys in a better draft. Be a winning team with a good understanding of your assets while maintaining their future options to keep the pick(s) or trade out of the draft and fill in the gaps. Getting rid of Trae just resets a clock with a lot of time left to tick. Not sure it’s my favorite idea with having Alex Sarr (or reach a little for Zacc and pair the two tall ass wings Zacc and JJ)
Once we see what the guys from the combine look like this list will probably change. Especially after we see what happens with the kings (specifically Malik Monk)
Im getting behind to Edey as the pick for Memphis too. I dont think Clingan will fall, or he is the pick. Either way, when Memphis frontcourt plays big, will be insane.

you definitely read my mind. The 4th pick will definitely be one of the Kentucky guards it comes down many options however for me it's like who can fit into our system the most. I would draft Reed Sheppard, if he's off early then Rob Dillingham makes the most sense. The 8th pick, Dalton Knecht would be the pick because they traded Doug McDermott during the season. Coach Pop would make both of those rookies into defensive players just so they can adjust into the NBA. Once they have developed including playing w/ Wemby were going to have an exciting future in San Antonio. Let's see what happens. #GoSpursGo
Hornets need defense. Topic not it. Hornets best lineups this past year had Miller at the 2 spot. Hornets need a 3/4 IMO. Matas, Cody, Holland, Castle. Those are the 4 we should be after. Imagine Melo Miller Miles Matas Mark The league is getting taller. This lineup is the future.
Hornets need better structure, which they’re getting with a new coach AND Melo to be healthy because when he is the team is solid. I see where you’re coming from with Topic not being it though. I like the idea of Melo focusing on self creation because he is one of the most entertaining and prolific scorers I’ve seen hoop and I just want him in his bag more than I want to see him playmake. Fred VanVleet has ONE year left on his deal. His 3rd year is a Team option...but I doubt any player in this draft will be better than him next/year 3 or Amen Thompson. I hope they go for a defensive big.

I see where you're coming from for sure. If you guys went with a guard, I'd honestly rather see Reed in that position. I feel like Rob and Green are both high volume offensive engines whereas with Reed, you can have a strong shooting guard who isn't as volume dependent to score. Definitely NOT saying Rob can't be very effect btw. Would you rather take touches away from Green to have Rob or get someone like a Reed?
Getting a serviceable center at 2 instead of a upside point guard is insane, especially when missi is projected near there late first rounder and is a serviceable upside big just like clingon
@@StatsandStories they will both be someone who can get 10 and 10 w 2 blocks and be upside defenders and rebounders, Clinton might have a bit more defensive potential and offensive I think he will shoot in the league too but clingon at 2 is bat shit crazy
Not only do draft another pg who can’t shoot.. He isn’t a good defender either.. So let’s have a backcourt of below avg defenders and take the ball out of 1 of the best passer in the league.. No just no.. Give us an elite point of attack defender like Castle or Holland and keep Lamelo at pg.. We have Micic who we just traded for and he is an older version of Topich so nooooo.. Get the role player with upside that keeps Lamelo and Miller from guarding another teams best perimeter threat..
