The WatchTime Show is in NYC is a favorite of mine-this video describes the events I was able to see and do that collectors may find interesting for themselves as well.
Sounds like a great event that i missed. Im greatful that the NY horological society is now expanding their classes to include Toronto (where i live). Look forward to the IWC sponsored 101 to 103 classes on Nov 03. Love your channel
Just went this morning to the show. I told a Parmigiani Rep that I watch your show. I was quite surprised how well their watches hugged my wrist. My favorite was H Moser’s Streamliner small seconds and Glashutte Original’s Panomatic Lunar blue dial
I really want to go next year. Bill, how do you decide what watch to take with you? That might be an interesting video/topic. Thanks for sharing your trip with us!
That new Toric with gold movement is really good can’t wait for someone flipping it in secondary market i am guessing atleast 25 to 30 % dip over retail. Its an ambitious move using gold movement but they got a little too greedy in pricing .
Has anyone heard of Evan’s & Evan’s, Alresford? I have a small watch with a gold face and hands, it has a number 80128 stamped on the back, along with stainless steel back and Swiss made. I have been unable to find any information other than the company closed in 1970. I would appreciate any help with my search.
@AliReza-do5my #1 Shows in slow motion how two identical movements on a brass plate enter resonance: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-god0e40scaE.html . #2 Shows the difference when the same two movements on cardboard do not achieve resonance.: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FRQYLo1DshA.html.
